I have been disappointed with this service for sooo long with no end in sight, I am trapped. I have so many hours of service banked due to several years now of no availability of massage appts with anyone who is remotely adequate. If I cancel you have to use all your hours within 60 days. That would be impossible due to no availability. The want to keep thousands of dollars they did not earn and take no accountability for not having staffing to provide the massages they sell. The membership is a trap buyer beware. I just read the review about Mason and I had a very similar experience. I was totally uncomfortable. When I flipped over my foot went in his beard, so creepy. He hurt me several times even after I spoke up. He asked me if a wanted a clinical massage or a therapeutic ??? IDK then all he talked about was how he knows everything. It really sucked and I hurt bad after the (massage)?My first massage was with Diane years ago, there's a reason why there's always available appts. My kids give better massages. Nico was very lame. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Was a great massage just missed my neck and glutes (drive a lot for work) that I figured was with a normal massage. Should've left my underwear on idk if that was a deterrent. Little lower back. 90 minute is equivalent to 60 minutes and wayyy overpriced if you're not subscribed. Nico was pleasant. Where to start. First off, I'm highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and manner in which my massage was done by Mason. During my awkward massage with this inexperienced therapist, I asked how long he's been licensed. He stated 2 years. I looked up his license 3/1/23 ring a bell?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! One of the first conversations we had was the fact that men can work on woman, yes. However, later on into the massage he showed me he should NOT be with female clients as what type of work or massage techniques were HIGHLY unacceptable. I indicated my pain spots were my lower back and spine area. This young man focused on my pec area (told me he specializes in that) and also how he could have prevented folks' surgery if they would have scheduled a massage. After he spent too much time on my chest area, once on my back, he tried 3 different times to have me lay back on my back so he could do other techniques. Why fill out paperwork and state the fact of pain areas if this kid is going to try to get out of that?? Someone needs to take this young man off his high horse and bring him back down to life. Someone with a brand-new license shouldn't be making statements like that. He also stated that if a man was inappropriate, they could sue this company for a nice check. Excuse me?! I told him that I have arthritis in my hands and while he was working on my right hand, he made comments such as, I'm pretty flexible for someone who has arthritis as almost trying to make me a liar about my health conditions! Shame on me for not stopping this massage from moving forward, but I've processed this and looked up information I needed to know. I've spoken to an AJ (from P.H. location) about this situation briefly this morning who said Peyton or Christy (hopefully spelled correctly) would be who I need to speak with. I was able to reach Peyton and informed her of this entire situation and my disappointment and also that I would reach out to the news. I was told Christy was "off today" and she "would probably" call me back. I had to tell her to watch her loose terms she throws around. She's been an assistant manager for a year and half, and it truly shows. This staff needs SERIOUS continued education on professionalism and maybe Todd Schrader should give those out to his staff instead of trying to push up selling or sales in general while I'm trying to get the Hell out of there!!!! read more

I live close to this location and was very excited when it opened. So excited, in fact, that I was the first person to sign up for a monthly massage membership here. I've maintained that membership for about four and a half years now, with about $60 billed to my credit card each month, but frequently end up with a backlog of available massage hours, which sort of defeats the preventative wellness purpose, because getting scheduled for a desired day and time can be tough. I find that I have to schedule pretty well in advance to get on their books. I have had a couple of wonderful massage therapists here who really pay attention to your needs and follow your cues, and a couple who have not been my favorites either due to massage style or simply not paying attention to cues, like the fact that I really like to relax and be quiet to the point of almost dozing off during a massage. But the scheduling issue has kind of been the last straw. After doing my part to schedule well in advance to get my desired therapist, to the point of taking time off work to do so, I have been canceled on at the last minute two of the last three times I have scheduled here. I was just about to schedule a service and decided to skip it and book at another location. Giving 3 stars for the good therapists I have had here over the years as well as a couple of nice free services they have given me to introduce their new stretch service, which I thought was really valuable, and to give experience to a new facialist. I should also mention that I have always felt treated respectfully here, with new therapists asking about your comfort level and if any massage areas are off-limits for you. read more

Total rip off! they say it's a 60 minute massage but it's 45-50 minutes at most When you find a decent masseuse they are so booked you can't get in or they move on because it's not a good place to work. I cancelled my membership on 6/12 and had 3 prepaid sessions left they gave me until 8/23 to use them but with my work schedule, COVID hours and no facials I couldn't get in to use them I asked for an extension and they said that because I cancelled 4 days after they had reopened they would not extend. Meanwhile there was absolutely no communication from them about closing, reopening, COVID protocol or anything. I would not recommend ME especially the Pleasant Hills location. Do not waste your money! 60 days to use 2-3 sessions when your hours are shortened and you don't offer full services. I don't think that an extension is out of line especially since I paid for the services. I'm not asking for something for free just what I am owed. With this pandemic you would think that you would want to keep clients and try to work with them to keep your massage therapists busy and promote good will. I had cancelled my membership once before after being a member for years and I rejoined at your location and was again a member for years but rest assured I will never rejoin ME. This policy is straight up theft and that is just wrong. read more

You have to pay $10 to have them put a couple drops of essential oils in your massage oil. So unless you do that, then your massage will be lacking that spa smell. It's a pretty basic massage. Nothing special. I won't be going to any other massage envy's. The staff however was very kind and professional so I'll give them that. read more

Horrible customer service. I called because I was running late, when I got there my therapist had left WITHOUT calling me. They let me drive all the way there to tell me. The desk attendant proceeded to tell me how upset the therapist was about me being late and scolding me telling me when I was supposed to be there. Choice of words, content of message, body language, and especially FACIAL EXPRESSION AND TONE were all inappropriate. No effort to retain me as a customer was made. Just tons of attitude. I went in with back pain and let them know I was having back pain, but they only spent about 10 minutes on my back compared to the rest of my body (I got a Swedish but they said they would focus on the back). Now 2 days later I'm in more pain than I was before my massage, the staff was super nice but I'm not going to pay $60 to remain in pain. read more
