We discussed my frequent running and tight legs, and he designed a massage specifically targeting my areas of concern. I left not feeling bruised or sore like other deep tissue massages I've had in the past. The manipulation was firm, but also involving limb movement to get into the fascia more deeply. Its 3 days later, my neck is fine, but my back is so tender and raw, I cannot put on a shirt without wincing. I showed the woman two toes on my right foot and explained that they were broken and were not to be touched - I wasn't sure if she understood me and a different woman came in to do massage. She asked me about the pressure I wanted and got to work. A few min in she tapped my foot and asked if that was the bad one which showed that my request was communicated and taken seriously. Two or three times during first half hour or so I was asked if I was "ok" and if pressure was too hard.
