Staff is inviting. My therapist was kind. But I probably should have booked the 90 min massage. 60 mins was not worth it and I didn't really leave feeling fully relieved. I don't feel the deep tissue really felt deep enough. I've been here a while ago and loved the experience but when I came again it didn't have the same affect sadly. Still I understand maybe it was an exhausting day, which I get because I'm a bodyworker myself but that's what's making me a bit critical. I'd say if you're like me and your usual massage therapist isn't available, just wait it out or focus on stretching and other ways to relax because sometimes the money spent going somewhere else could be a regret. I've had good experiences, and not so great ones but every time I've had a concern they have taken my feedback very seriously and I've seen changes implemented to remedy the issues. I used to do couples massages (a comfort thing for me) but after Covid they got rid of this option. It took me awhile to return because I didn't want to go alone. I booked a 90-minute massage with [Name Masked] and specifically confirmed beforehand that the therapist provides medium-firm pressure. Unfortunately, the pressure was extremely light -- it genuinely felt like moisturizer was being applied rather than a massage. I clearly mentioned my focus areas at the beginning, but those areas were barely addressed. Instead, time was spent on areas I specifically requested not to be worked on, which was frustrating. I've been coming here since 2016. Every time I find a therapist I like, they quit. However, let me tell you about my esthetician Erin. She's the reason I keep coming back! She is amazing, she is knowledgeable, personable, and sweet. She remembers you even if it's been months between sessions. I've never felt pressured to buy their products or listen to any sales pitch. Massage wise, I'm currently seeing Natalie whenever I can, but I'm afraid she's going to leave me too! She's great with communication on pressure and sore spots. Marco is a great massage therapist he listened to me before we started and did everything I needed and when I asked for him to be a little softer in one spot she did but didn't start using less pressure everywhere so I didn't have to keep asking him to change the pressure. I definitely will be adding him to my favorites list and will be seeing him again. The front desk ladies, Nelia, Tatiana, Bella, Gabby have all been very professional and very friendly. I feel welcome every time when I walk in. Assistant manager Gabriella is really wonderful and very helpful as well. In the past, each time I had a massage in other massage places in the town and came out I'll tear some muscle. So for the past three years, I was been very scared of going to any masseuse. But then my daughter had Mavis one day and she said I should try him. She also said he is really good, which made me feel very comfortable because she's not someone who easily compliments anyone. So I went to Mavis the next day. I had a lot of pain on my knees because of the meniscus tears. Also I had a migraine for the past nine months only on one side of my head. He started working on my shoulders and neck. When I came out I was almost 75% better from the head ache. He said the pain was actually coming from a pinched nerve from my shoulders. He is really knowledgeable about your body more than your own self. I was very impressed and since then I've been going every week to him. If you have pain and you don't know for sure where it is coming from Mavis is your guy. He will find the source of your pain and fix the problem. I also go to Marco. He is wonderful, he will listen to you, ask what you want him to work on and doesn't talk much but relieves the pain fast. If you know where your pain is and want to be relieved the same day he is your guy. I have also gone to Curtis. He is really sweet, goes out of his way to help you with stretches to help with your pain. He does sports kind of massage. He can do really hard massage as well as very gentle. If you have pain because of scar tissue, then he is your guy he breaks them up and relieves pain. One time I've been to Nathen as well. He is really a very sweet guy. He uses pressure points to fix your pain. I went with plantar fasciitis pain and he used pressure points to give me relief from that pain. I was pain-free for at least two weeks. After all the muscle tears, I was so terrified of massages. But after going to Massage Envy, I really respect each and everyone of them. They really care about giving you pain relief. They are very hard-working and respectful. I am no longer worried about going to a new masseuse as long as it is in Massage Envy. read more

We have been members for 10+ years. Unfortunately, their services are going downhill. We had to deal with billing issues that they don't want to fix. The worst part was their front desk. Instead of answering billing issue the lady rolled her eyes and began to show rude attitude. When I tried to talk to the manager over the phone she hung up on me. UNETHICAL BUSINESS - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD - THEY WILL STEAL We completed 12 months contract and requested cancellation on September 29th, 2022. We were informed that there will be no more charges made on my credit card and membership is cancelled. However, my cc got charged on October 7, 2022 in the amount of $70. I contacted Tracy massage envy 3 times so far and spoke to 4 different people and no one is helping out. The 4th person I spoke to, was transferred by front desk as a supervisor, was very rude and informed me that we do not process refunds. I asked her for her name and response was 'Leah' I asked to spell the name and was informed "spell however you understand I am not giving my name". I asked for her title and was told "I am not giving you that" I called again and someone, they are giving me their names, told me that it takes us time to process cancellation and if charges are made before the cancellation is processed, we will charge the cc and will not refund. This is a total scam. Massage envy or anyone processing can take upto 1 year to process the cancellation but that does not mean my cc will be getting charged. After escalations, Just to keep the record, the manager at Tracy Massage Envy called and stated: - cancellation was requested on September 29, 2022 - cancellation was processed on September 30, 2022 - this manager called me to confirm cancellation processed on September 30, 2022 - my card was charged on October 7, 2022 because it is a corporate policy to charge customer within 10 days of cancellation for the service they will not use. read more

I received the best massage this morning from Soriah (sp?) she did a 60 min deep tissue massage. She focused on my neck and shoulders and really released all the tension. I felt a sense of euphoria when my neck popped under the cranium just from her massaging. She is fantastic and I'm already thinking about going to see her again. read more

Instead of apologizing she starts yelling and tells us to leave. Worst massage place ever. We have been members with Massage Envy for over 14 years and never been treated this poorly . Worst Massage Envy place ever. Don't go there unless you like to be insulted. This is probably her first job because she never learn basic customer service etiquette. We are now asking for cancellation paperwork. No one cares here . Enter at your own risk. We tried once again, by calling, to be reasonable. However she refused again for the confirming our terrible customer care skills. At the very least she needs to be retrained or get a different job. The corporate number she provided does nothing no one answers and she knows that that's why she keeps getting away from this extremely rude behavior them and said let's make this right and she refuses to do so she again continues the worst the worst customer service representative ever come across. He listens carefully and uses the right amount of pressure/technique to work through the knots and areas that need work. Jody is incredible for facials. I have come here for more than a year and have had ok experiences until yesterday. I pre booked several prenatal appointments last month in preparation for my due date in late may. When I called to confirm yesterday after not seeing an appointment reminder as usual and they had not booked out any of the slots, including the one for the day. The receptionist did not offer to rebook of anything- she was just apathetic and make no action to remedy the solution. At that point I asked to cancel my month to month membership and she sent me a paper form to print out and bring in- more work for me. Because I was already in the car I just drove in and filled it out in person. They still offered no remedy or a care in the world that I was cancelling over something so stupid. My expectation was not very high- just a comment about how they made a mistake and how they could get me in as soon as they had an appointment. I might be a little more salty than usual because I'm 8 months pregnant but I would expect some respect to my time and business. I have spent at least 1k at this location in the last year and would have liked to continue. Please invest in some kind of customer service training for your location. read more

I got a facial at this place as a gift from a member there. They called me to check I would be there and never asked any other questions. I went for my appointment and there when I told them that I am Allergic to Sulphites/Sulphates, they didn't have a single product they could use on me. They sent me home, did not try to substitute for anything else either. I am sad that even for a relaxing facial do we have to soak ourselves in chemicals??!! I don't think so. Another infuriating thing was that when that member gifted me the facial, they charged him $10 and then when i couldn't use it they charged him $10 again to have him get it back to gift it to someone else. Bad Experience with Front Desk, cheating for membership registration!! My husband is a member and he transferred 1 session to me, also paid extra $$ for it, per their norms. However after massage session done, front desk asked me to pay, while i said it's already paid, she confirmed its not. Though i insisted, on top she mentioned no session transfer only account transfer, confirmed thrice by her. On top of extra paid for transfer of session by hubby, she got extra session payment and registered me saying session will be 125$ if registered 75$ + Registration fee 49$ . Good job Massage Envy on cheating the people. Minimum people in front desk should know the policy & membership information!! I will see what I can do here!!! For Mothers Day I was given the gift of getting a massage and I feel so blessed that I happened to have Mavies as my masseuse. He knew exactly what I needed just by the way my posture and stance was. I have been struggling terribly with my sciatic nerve bothering me so bad I haven't been able to sleep and for the first night in a long time I finally got a restful nights sleep. Today was my first visit. When I booked I added the tension relief treatment. They txt me yesterday to confirm today. I pressed y for yes, they responded ok we canceled your appt. When I call to confirm, I said I also added the tension relief, they said yes I seen that. I go today and they said they can't do it because the one the assigned me to isn't certified. I told the guy I wanted hips up to head. He only did neck shoulders and arms. My lower back wasn't even touched and that was a concern I told him I also needed addressed. Booking policy is unfair, they open their books months in advanced. We're in December, and currently they have scheduling open up until May 2025. The therapist I prefer to see, is completely booked out on a weekly basis that far in advanced, the one day a week she works evenings by the same client at the same time. Due to work, I'm unable to go during the day and the therapist in which I love has limited availability. It's an unfair policy that they allow a client to blockout a therapist each week and not allowing opportunities for other paying customers! I called to share the feedback with a manager, they didn't seem to be receptive. Their front desk also told me I'm not the only customer to share this concern, when i spoked to the manager, she said no one else has expressed this concern. Well that shouldn't matter, as a business you should be taking the feedback from customers on how to improve the experience of the services they're paying for on a monthly basis. read more

Massage Envy @ Tracy is awful. I have been getting the yearly subscription for massages/facials and when I asked to cancel my account, they kept automatically charging my Discover card. They claim that an email was sent to me with the form to "cancel" but they never did. I was charged for 8 consecutive months and when I spoke to the Manager Karen in person; they finally stopped charging my credit card. Then that same day I was told that I had until the End of the Year Dec 2023 to redeem my prepaid services. To my surprise I make an appointment and they are trying to charge me. The policy is that they only allow 60 days to redeem 8 services from the day of cancellation. I work & don't have time to go during their business hours so I lost all my prepaid services. I don't think their policy is accurate or fair given that I have been a client for several years. I'm only asking to give me the services I paid for until the end of year. I'm very disappointed because I got my mother a yearly subscription in Fontana, CA and I'm not happy with the way they treated me. Karen being the manager should have been more helpful and less rude in regards to my complaint. I'm about to call & send emails to headquarters because losing close to $800 is too much to bare. I enjoyed my two visits, but I don't like to be pressured for the membership (because I did it before and don't like obligated payments/visits). At this point in time, I give ME Tracy three stars. It used to be five. I am a long time member, since 2007. I get 2-3 massages a month; I don't always get massages at ME. I also tip 18-20% depending on the massage. There have been many times that I have desperately needed a massage only to get a last minute call that the therapist is sick or had a family emergency. I have not gotten upset because life happens as it did for me on 5/15/22. I woke up sick and called to cancel the appointment. Unfortunately, the employee who answered the phone is one who is often curt, rude, and unfriendly; she acts like she is doing the customer a favor just by barely doing her job. This is quite the departure from when I first joined. Then the staff was friendly and professional; they even remembered your name! Now it is cold, unfriendly and very corporate. I did the right thing by canceling the appointment. I don't want to get anyone sick. The rude employee sounded unhappy with me. She did not say, "I hope you feel better." Instead she said, "I will take care of canceling the appointment." At no time did she say I would be charged a $25.00 fee. I only found out about the fee when I discovered the charge on my credit card statement. No one should be charged for canceling an appointment when they are sick. This only encourages people to do the wrong thing by keeping an appointment and spreading viruses to others. I called the ME in Tracy to address the charge and no one answered the phone for over 30 minutes! I am considering canceling my membership. I am a VERY UNHAPPY customer. read more

Had service from Mario, a 90 minute session and it was amazing! He worked on all the areas that needed help, especially my shoulders since I'm always working at a desk and bending over to package orders. He also listened to all my needs and we can great conversations. I was definitely sore after but the next day I felt so much more loose. 9/10 would recommend, I find that this place is a little pricey for the service you get. Definitely could use more for the price like a better lounge area, etc. I also wish the front desk would ask me to drink some water but all was well and the room I was in was super comfortable. read more

I sustained injuries from getting hit in a car accident last year, and Mavies has relieved me of my pain and misalignments .. wayy more than physical therapy exercises from my doctors!! I'm walking and standing so much better, much straighter.. he has evened out my spine, my back... minimized/my pressure and pain and other symptoms.
