Buyer beware! This place uses deceptive practices to charge you with out services rendered! I walked in for a massage on Sunday. Two ladies were upfront, one therapist and a front desk worker. They had no therapist available at the time and this was approx. 2pm. I told them I would continue to look for a place who could get me in immediately as my back was killing me. The front desk worker said, well we have a 5:20 pm spot. She said well do you want to book it just in case. I said sure. She said "we ask for a credit card on file, just in case you are a no show, we charge you". I said that make sense. I left and the next place I stopped said they could get me in immediately. I wrote the Xpress location in Keller right away to cancel. I received a response that said the appointment had been cancelled. Two days later I see a charge for over 50 dollars. I called the credit card company that I used, who refunded the money immediately because I have the cancellation text. I then called the facility who said that this is common practice, and their policy is that if you cancel or NO SHOW, you will be charged. Can you imagine this with any other service? I would like dinner at a nice restaurant but then you cancelled it and get charged for what you would have eaten. Or how about a car. I was going to buy a car but changed my mind and they still charged you for the car you should have bought, so that the salesman makes money. This is insanity and I will never be back to this location every again! I would caution you as well. This policy was never conveyed to me and the girl I spoke with on the phone said "oh she probably forgot". Umm yea because why would I ever agree to pay for a probable service? Horrible business. Update: the manager of this business wrote me and said yes we have evidence that our staff didn't advise you of the policy and that he would try to help me get my refund "even though my cc has already refunded the money", but when he saw this review he sent me a text at 11pm at night. "I saw your rediculous review on Yelp. I had told our system not to fight it because it was an honest mistake. But your lies on Yelp are stupidity. You never once on the video said you were going to look for another location for a faster massage. I will upload the video and audio to Yelp to show this. I was ok with eating the 30 dollar chargeback but now I'm going to fight it" These people are not just crooked but obviously have mental issues. read more

I have been going to the Massage Express location, in Keller, for a few years now. I prefer that location since they have the bars on the ceiling that allow for back walking. I have always had a good experience and have always received one of the best deep tissue massages there that I have ever had, there. But, yesterday was the first time that Yun was my massage therapist. She is one of the owners. And gave me one of the best two hour massages that I ever had. I'm still feeling very relaxed today, and a little sore since I asked her to work deep into my muscles. I highly recommend Massage Express and will continue to drive almost an hour to use their services. And from now on I will ask for Yun, whenever she is available. read more

Terrible!! I went to massage express right before a vacation as a treat to myself. I requested light pressure and mentioned that I had issues with medium pressure in the past. The therapist went way to deep for a Swedish massage and as a result I have not been able to bend, sit for long periods or lift anything for 2 weeks now. I had to cancel my vacation plans with my family. When I called to explain what happened and ask for a refund they were rude and dismissive saying that could never happen and I need to see a doctor. This is a fantastic place for a massage. The lady I had really paid attention to where I was hurting. She did a wonderful overall massage, and then focused the last 10 minutes on my major problem areas. I even added 30 minutes because she did such an excellent job. I have been to many massage therapists in the area, and have not been very impressed. However, I will certainly be back here much more often! After reading great reviews about this place, my husband and I were so excited to do a couples massage there. We called and made an appointment- no problem :) When we got there to check in, it smelled great, had a clean environment and everyone was following CDC guidelines with the masks and social distancing as much as possible However, they had no recollection of us calling, they called the other location (on basswood) and said we had an appointment there- even though we selected the north Tarrant location when we called. Ok, we don't live very far from either so we started the car, began to pull out of our spot and someone comes running out the door saying they found our appointment. We put the car in park, she comes back outside and says "let me call the other location to double check" (which is exactly what they did when we went to check in. We go in, fill out paper work and they get us in a room. My husband's masseuse was fabulous (Jeanie, I think). My masseuse on the other hand (Jack) ended up bruising my upper and lower back, neck, and head with the amount of pressure. I told him multiple times at the beginning light-medium pressure because I bruise easily. There must've been a language barrier bc when someone else told him what I wanted he did fine, but then over the course of our 60 minute massage the pressure got harder and harder. I probably should've said something, but it was so difficult the first 4-5 times I didn't think it was worth it. Now I feel like I should've terminated my massage with him and requested someone else. After our experience, my husband and I will not be returning. read more

For years I have gone to tons of places for massage. None ever stick. I've been coming here to the tarrant pkwy location for over a year now. My daughter also comes in regularly. Love this place. It's always super clean, quiet and they are always prompt. And they never ever short you on your time. I think between us we have had every therapist and they are all the best. I usually get in same day. What I like best is they simply do massage. Other places want to sell you a membership or an upgrade for lavender, mint, etc. this place simply provides an amazing massage. Last minute decision for my husband to have a massage and we are SO sold on this place! We called at 11:30 to inquire about availability same-day. Expectations weren't high since it was so last minute. The lady that answered the phone was so professional and kind. Booked us for 3:00, no problem. 2, 1-hour appts. They called back around 1:00 and kindly offered to see us sooner and reiterated it was only if it was convenient for us. We pushed our appt up to 2:30. Arrived a little early. Super short paper to fill out on arrival since this was our first time. They were super friendly and professional in person. As they were on the phone. We were taken back to the room and to our surprise, they had a couples massage room set up! We were super pleased as we only expected 2 single appts simultaneously. I wish I had asked for their names, but both of us were more than pleased with our ladies. My normal regret with massages is not having the massage therapist do the massage with the depth that I would like, but the lady doing my massage was VERY heavy handed. I asked her to scale back just a tad and she was spot on. Definitely therapeutic. I get like Gumby afterwards. My husband enjoyed his massage as well. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. If I had to play devil's advocate and pin point an area of improvement, it would only be that if you're in a room closer to the front door, you can hear the door bell ring every time it's opened and can hear the voices of people at the front. I didn't have any issues with the location for my appointment like others have reported. Gigi was really nice to my daughter, she kept asking if the pressure was ok and that she was comfortable. Another great thing about this massage facility is that the shop is licensed and ALL of the therapists are licensed. I have walked in to other places and right back out when they cannot provide certification. My body is more important and I know an unlicensed person could do a lot of damage. While I scheduled an appointment about 5 days in advance, and confirmed multiple times it was the Keller location on the phone, when I showed up they had no record of my appointment. While that was disconcerting, I was quickly taken back for a massage and facial regardless. The prices are good (much better than chain companies), and I thought they did a great job. It was quiet and peaceful. I would maybe recommend calling the day before to confirm your appointment is written down, but other than that I highly recommend this location! read more
