The facility is very nice and relaxing as soon as you walk in your met with warm aromas and calming music. Our float guide Raven was very helpful walking us through the whole facility getting to know how to use the float room and all of the other amenities at their location. I really love that they have spaces for relaxation after you finish or before you go into your service. Be sure to grab a cup of tea before or after your visit! I love that they offer so many different packages for float trips as well as other meditative and massage based services. At the end of our experience we were given a welcome card and coupon for future float trips!

Soothing, relaxing, refreshing-you just float on your back with the lights on or off - music or no music. You are tucked away into your own private little oasis for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. You have to surrender to the salt water and float. It's shallow water so you can sit up or stand up at any time. I started with nice warm tea then went to my room. You shower first and then begin your session. They have everything you need - ear plugs, towels, robes, pool noodles, ear drops, q-tips, contact cases, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and blow dryers. You shower again after your session and you can go relax in the Zen room with some tea or water. The friendly staff is there to support you every step of the way. If you need to destress this is the way to do it. This is a very nice clean facility with a caring staff.

My last visit was in 2023 for my birthday. Upon entering, you are met with the soothing smells of a spa. The best way I can describe it is like the smell of a Hilton Hotel hallway. You have to take off your shoes and leave them at the door, so don't be like me and wear flip-flops, because otherwise you will be barefoot on the floor. Our guide was Jesus, who was very peaceful, kind, and explained everything to us. He even was able to give me booties I could wear, although he stated that their floors are very clean. He was barefoot himself. I believe him, but I am super paranoid. Anyway, they had a few additions to the spa since my last visit, such as an infrared sauna, a cold plunge tank, and zero-gravity massage chairs. He gave us a tour of these offerings after we consumed our tea. After we used the restrooms, he gave us a tour of our pods. I felt like Jesus did a wonderful job of explaining to my father how to enter and exit the pod and making sure he had what he needed prior to entering so that he could enjoy his experience. You have to take a shower before you enter and after you exit the pod. Lights and music are optional, as is closing your pod versus leaving it open. There is a bottle of fresh water to spray on your face should salty water get near your eyes. With the salt volume, you shouldn't get salt in your eyes unless you fall asleep in there and turn really fast like you're in bed or in a rotisserie oven. They also provide earplugs to keep the water out and petroleum jelly should you have minor open cuts. The water should only come up to your chin or right below your ear when you're on your back. There is a halo you can rest your head on if you can't trust your head to stay afloat (which it will). They have monthly membership packages should you want to self-care each month as well. After our session, we had another cup of tea and then had some brunch. Let me not forget their powder room has just about anything you could need after such a relaxing experience and their hair conditioner loves my curls! I have always enjoyed my experiences at this location and in Maryland Heights. They have amazing guides and create such a curated experience for their guests.

You have a private changing area with a shower and towels outside of your private floatation tank. The experience is very soothing and relaxing. You can have music or no music, light or no light. Whatever "floats" your boat. See what I did there. There's another recovery room that you go to afterward with water and tea, sinks, and hair dryers. The idea of having floating at a hair salon is genius, so people can get their hair done right after their float session if they'd like. You could have a whole spa experience with the float, hair blowout, and a mani/pedi all in one spot! I don't know if they do nails here, but if not, they should. They have float packages which are really good and I'm sure they're totally worth it. I highly recommend the float experiences at Anew! When back in town, I'd return to do it again!

You feel like you are floating so peacefully... The purpose is to relax, and we relaxed. - - - The Room - - - extended height ceiling... inside is a bench for changing clothes, and a shower... in front of you a wall with a door that looks like a sauna or something similar... - - - The floating "chamber" - - - Inside that door is the floating pool... it's enclosed... 8 feet tall and 10x10 or 12x12 feet or so... a the water is about a foot deep, just over your ankles... You'll notice a couple round, thin, foam pillows.. they are to support the back of your head, because it is the one body part that is too dense to float on its own. - - - The experience - - - You sit down in the water then lay back, relax your head on the foam pillow, and start to relax. Press the button for the relaxing music.... When you are ready, press the other button and turn the lights off... then you'll be in darkness, with pleasant music... and you'll feel peaceful and calm... - - - How you float - - - Then you realize... in a normal pool your legs sink a bit... not here, not at Anew Salon and Floating... your toes are out of the water on their own... I asked and confirmed that they add a lot of salt... "denser the Dead Sea," apparently... The world's oceans have a salinity around 3%. The Dead Sea has a salinity around 34%. Studio Anew has a salinity higher than that and is nice and close and indoors and is a great place to visit and to relax!! - - - Going back! - - - Our session was 45 minutes or so. We will go back!
