I've been coming here for a little over a year and have seen multiple massage therapists, always a good experience. Everyone has their own way but I never had anything to complain about with any of them. When I was pregnant I started seeing Michelle for prenatal massage and she is now my go to! She has some kind of way of releasing muscle tension without having to really dig in there deeply like some. Sometimes digging deep in muscles can leave me a little sore so i appreciate this. Michelle just has a way about it that works for me. We talk during my massage which I enjoy - I know this is not the norm and I'm sure she doesn't always talk to people during massage but I love our conversations about gardening, pets, family and food. I've learned a lot from her. Just wanted to come on here and show some appreciation and let others know that I 10/10 recommend this location, especially recommend Michelle but I think everyone here is great so you can't go wrong. read more

The staff are friendly and professional, and every therapist I have booked with has been excellent - I am no longer suffering from the pain and discomfort. They take Covid and masking seriously, which I appreciate. Okay so there was nothing wrong with my massage therapist- I got Michelle last minute and she was great. When I arrived I was greeted by 2 very energetic individuals- did they have good customer service? Sure. But listen... my time is precious. I am there to relax. I do not want to have to shoot the shit with front desk in order to get to my massage. Could they do a whole lot to make the front experience more relaxing? Absolutely. I then had a pretty good massage.. totally relaxed... and BAM they are trying to sell me on a monthly membership. Trying to "scare" that the price of the massage will go up next time. I don't actually care that the price would go up as I'll open my wallet for some good self care but they would have known that if they had asked good questions. I'm actually a fairly easy sell and Michelle did a great job. The lack of authenticity and pushy salesmanship on their part was super off putting.. especially after being so relaxed. I mentally just shut down from being pissed off that I ACTUALLY relaxed and was now having to say no a bunch of times to stuff I don't care about. What a buzzkill. If you're having the front desk run your sales department... you might consider some training on how to connect with people. Not everything needs to be "amazing" or "super exciting". Please consider the head space of the consumer walking in. Not to mention they asked me how much I wanted to tip- I said 20%. They charged me for 34% on the tip and ran the card on the computer so there wasn't a receipt to see til I got home. read more

I scheduled a massage at the introductory rate of $59.99 for a 1 hour massage. They included hot stones for half off which was discounted further thanks to Yelp! I met with the therapist and explained that I wanted a massage because I had a kink in my neck and my shoulders were really tight after sitting at my desk all day. She said that it wouldn't be a problem. The place is really nice. Very upscale compared to their competitors. The massage was full body and relaxing, but the entire time I kept wondering when she was going to get to my neck and shoulders. It's hard to have any concept of time when you're so relaxed. When she finally did it lasted maybe two minutes! I was so disappointed to leave their with a stiff neck and shoulders after spending so much money. The rest of my body felt great, but I really couldn't justify signing up for an annual membership after that. read more

I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early per my confirmation email instructions only to be told that I had to wait in my car because they were not allowing clients to wait inside. As I sat in my car I saw another client go in and sat and waited for her appointment. Fifteen minutes after my scheduled appointment I called and informed the receptionist that I had been waiting for a total of 30 minutes and no one has contacted me. She said with attitude in her tone "well we texted and called you and you didn't answer." I was told I could still go in for my appointment. After I asked to verify my phone #, I found out they had a completely different number. No apologies. When I came out from my massage there was another client sitting in the waiting area. WTF. The service is HORRIBLE. I initially booked the appointment to use a gift card I had received. After a lengthly conversation about what I was looking for, I booked my appointment and was counseled regarding cancelation fees. Then I was literally called late the night before to reschedule d/t a staffing issue. I was told the appointment would be canceled due to a staffing issue and I would need to reschedule. 10 minutes after that conversation, I was called back and told "oh we have someone else for you so we will see you tomorrow"... What? How do you go from caring about what my needs are to "oh we have a warm body to do your massage" and literally throw that all out of the window. I should have been given the choice of keeping the appointment after the initial person was a "no show". I appreciated David he was great, so in that aspect I was glad I kept the appointment. He gets 5 stars. Like I said I went with the intention of using a gift card for the service (which they were aware of) and upon check out the associate was completely rude. Apparently the gift card was incorrectly sold/handled by the associate at the other location when the card was purchased; so Maggie felt the need to give me an attitude as she accused me of attempting to use a gift card/ presenting an invalid card for use. This was not the case at all. I am not sure if she was new but she surely needs a lesson in customer service. For starters look at the person in front of you; recognize the person who not only booked the appointment but who is in front of you checking out prior to accusing them of being someone else and using the card. Needless to say I do not recommend this place... more specifically this location in Cedar Park. After having several 90 minute sessions with her, I'm finally experiencing lasting relief from tension in my neck, hips and back, and relief from shoulder pain, that have been recurring for years. Dannie is amazing! I had a deep tissue massage that was out of this world. Talk about "crunchies" for days! She was accommodating to your preferred pressure. You can tell she knows what she is talking about, and her personality is great. A+ experience. I never do memberships, but I am seriously contemplating one. All in all, the experience from beginning to end including the nice staff at the front was great. The staff was not pressuring to sell, and instead showed different options. Businesses get repeat customers when they step away from the sell, sell, sell mentality and value the customer and their needs. I am going to get my wife on board as well. I have been coming for several months due to neck and shoulder pain. I don't usually like to sign up for memberships for massages as I haven't found a home for my care. After my first 2 hour massage ever, with Tiana, I signed up for the membership. I knew I had found someone different. Tiana is the first massage therapist that offers the deep pressure I've been looking for. Her stretching techniques are excellent. Tiana has opened my mind to hot stones and CBD oil during the massage which helps so much for my daily pain. Tiana offers suggestions for home care and care plan that optimizes my treatment. She has recommended products for home care as well, which have been excellent. Tiana has really helped my pain in addition to being very sweet, professional, and a true healer. I am so happy to to have found such a knowledgeable and skilled provider. I do have to also recommend Dan. As Tiana's schedule was full on 2 occasions, I saw Dan and was also very happy. He is an excellent therapist with a slightly different style. He is also very responsive to my needs, very funny, and a pleasure to meet. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They always recognize me even wearing masks and make me feel like I am not just another customer. read more

Great massages? Hands down The therapists on staff go above and beyond. Business practice is LESS than stellar. My husband and I went in for a couples massage ( not something we get to indulge in often due to cost) and loved the whole experience. Went to settle the bill and was asked a few questions on our experience to which we raved. Provided our bank card/cc and had initially thought it was for payment that day, plus tip, and for any future visits. Turns out, we had unknowingly signed up for a year? Contact. Not something we would ever commit to in regards to a service we treat one another to every few years! Well now, we are being charged well over $150/month and have yet to go back? I have payed phone tag for too long since this representative demands that we chat. We will NOT be back and will definitely warn anyone that considers this business. Horrible business practice. I found out about massage heights when I was in San Diego CA visiting relatives back in June this year. Was so happy to see that there is a frachise in Austin too. I've received very relaxing deep tissue massages from three different therapists. The hot stone massage was also a nice experience. The place is very clean and the music is nice. The therapists are friendly and attentive. Just discovered recently that it is possible to have massage therapy paid for by my Health Savings Account since my physician gave me a presciption for massage for stress. Love that uncle Sam us subsidising my table time. read more

This was not a massage. In 90 minutes, there was approximately 45 minutes of actual contact. When i called to schedule, i asked for someone who was good at deep tissue work and someone who wasn't going to do some pre-established routine. Despite indicating areas of need on the sheet and explicitly stating where i wanted work, the massage was all routine. No exaggeration, she may have spent 1 minute on each foot, 30 seconds on each hand, zero seconds on my chest or shoulders. This was the most superficial massage that i've had. She asked several times how is this pressure, to which i replied you can go much harder, you can not hurt me. Typically in a deep tissue massage the therapist finds knots and works them out. Not the case here as the agenda was set. I also didn't care for the attempted Active Release Technique, although this is very effective at increasing the range of motion, clearly this therapist did not know how it was done. Moreover, i didn't come there for stretching i came to have knots worked out of my muscles. Needless to say i would not recommend Massage Heights. read more

My husband and I visited Cedar Park for our anniversary and treated ourselves to our first couples massage ever. My husband was nervous, being his first massage, yet our masseuses were so friendly, they eased both of our nerves, provided incredible service! Hands down best massage I've had in years!! We wish this location was in our town, that's how amazing our experience was. The front desk girls were so sweet and very helpful. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I first visited Massage Heights in October. I have to admit, my initial visit with one of the male therapists was mediocre, but the staff asked me to give them a second chance with another therapist. I did, and I have no regrets. Since my initial appointment, I have signed up for a membership and switched to seeing either Randi or Suksiri. They are both wonderful female therapists who do excellent deep tissue and therapeutic style massage. The massage membership rates are also very reasonable when compared with other massage chains. I recommend trying out this location if you haven't already. read more

So I have been a member of Massage Heights for a number of years. I was super excited when one was built close to us in Leander. I set up my appointment and one for my husband for last Sunday. We showed up at the 20 minutes early to fill out the documents they needed and for my husband to set his up as he did not have a membership. Although we got there early for the appointment we did not get put back for the Massage for almost 10 minutes. I definitely cannot complain about the massages it was great. However, my feet were needing attention and did not get massage. That could be because of the 10 minute late start as well as them finishing the massage 10 minutes early. We paid for an hour and only got 40 minutes. I understand things get busy, however, the expectation is still there for the massage to be an hour long. I understand that you have to take time at the beginning to speak to the massage therapist as well as time at the end so that you can get dressed and leave. However it, and the amount of time I've been with Massage Heights it's never taken 20 minutes to do both. I am going in for a facial so hopefully I can add to this review. Unfortunately, my husband had no desire to join the membership there. I'm hoping I can get him another massage and change his mind. The facility itself is awesome I must say. read more
