I was a member at this location for almost one year. There is a lot of turnover with staff, but I think that is because the management is poor. There were two aestheticians and a masseuse I was very happy with, but unfortunately they were always changing my appointment times or running late. If Massage Heights does not have 24 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment, you are billed, however when they run late, or cancel an appointment you're out of luck. Unbelievable. We've been going here for around 5 years. We show up tonight ready for massage and get harassed about our card on file. They pull up our account, that they've been charging for years , and someone tried to charge an old card on file that expired 12/2019. 14 months ago. I showed them where they've been charging my current card for the past several statements but they still wanted to argue. Showed them the Dec and Jan charge on my current card and still they wanted to argue. Apparently someone on their end deleted our current card on file but are harnessing us as if we are the problem. Fine. Cancel my membership. Not worth arguing. And I guarantee they charged the massage that they wouldn't let us take tonight to our bank of hours that we have. Then I get home and someone calls again to get my new card info. Nope. Just cancel my membership. Ok well you have to email us and bla bla bla. Wow. Horrible customer service. If I get one piece of harassing mail about how they need 30 days or whatever to cancel a membership I'm sending it straight to my attorney just for general principal. They won't let us have our massage that was already paid for when we showed up but can demand a cancellation email. Smh. Can't say the words I really want to put on here. read more

I first found Massage Heights when I was having extreme pain and knew that I just needed a good massage to fix the kinks in my neck and back. Took advantage of their introductory "first time" massage price. I was thoroughly impressed. The next day I felt 100% better! Since then, I have returned about 6? times. Each time I have had a different masseuse and they have all been excellent! I have not yet committed to a membership, but I have purchased the 3 massages for a discounted price. Most times I even call for a same day appointment. They are professional, friendly and I have not had one bad experience. The fact that they are open later is an added bonus! But I just got a massage from Jonathan and it was the most bizarre massage of my life, he kept massaging me with only one hand and I think at one point he fell asleep. Skye might as well be my permanent therapist, after returning from overseas in 2006 and having been to dozens of therapists hoping for improvement, I feel pretty comfortable saying I can't find a better or more professional therapist than her. Several months ago I gave my fiancé a gift certificate to Massage Heights. She went and fell in love with the place, so much so that she got onto the monthly program. While we lived in Cypress, she continued to go and always asked for the same masseuse, who she really liked. The problem came when we moved. My fiancé called up about canceling her membership and was told she had to actually go into the store she signed up at to cancel. Although this is obviously inconvenient given that we now live about 45 minutes away, she did it anyway. When she got there, she was "helped out" by this very rude employee. She told my fiancé that she did not need to come to the store and could have done it over the phone. Her attitude was so far below acceptable you would have thought it was a joke, which I did when I first heard about it. The rudeness of this employee continued all the way to the end when she told my fiancé to leave after she cancelled. However, it is unclear if the membership was canceled since my fiancé did not receive any confirmation and the manager was apparently out for like nine days. According to this girl, there were no other employees capable of canceling a membership and nobody in charge while the manager was away. When I heard about this, I called up to talk to whoever was working and it turned out to be this same girl. I asked about the cancelation policies and things quickly got out of hand because of her attitude. She asked if my fiancé had put me up to calling and continually tried to talk over me as if her saying the same thing again and again would change anything. I cannot describe how rude this employee is in words. It would be the equivalent of calling up to a company and them yelling at you that they do not care about anything you have to say, making blah blah blah noises as you tried to talk, and then hanging up the phone. I subsequently called a different Massage Heights to get the number of a higher manager. I was given a number and called it and had to leave a message on a voicemail with no identification other than the phone number itself. I did not get a call back from this person either, shocker. While my fiancé did enjoy her massages, I regret ever having introduced her to this location. There is another Massage Heights right around the corner from where we just moved. I will be telling my fiancé to go to another place even if the drive is further. Good luck. read more

Paige at the front desk walked me through the process step by step and explained everything thoroughly as well as providing great customer service and Samantha took the time to go over everything in depth and went through the necessary steps it would take to get me back into full recovery while also providing a great massage. Worst experience ever. Booked two appointments for a massage, first time. I'm from California so i wanted to get a massage for my boyfriend and i while in Houston. Unfortunately my flight got delayed due to weather and although i called 3 hours before my appointment time to let them know what was going on ( i would have called sooner but i had been on a plane all day) they still told me i would be charged for the massages i would not be receiving. So no massage + still getting charged = not good business practice. I understand there is a policy, but you work with your clients, especially when it comes to situations that are not able to be controlled like this one. When I originally signed up for the 6 month package, I would have rated this 5 stars. Kris is awesome for deep tissue. Sad I can't use her anymore because of their subpar business processes. When the 6 months passed, I stopped going. Recently I tried to schedule for an appointment and they wanted me to back pay my account for the last 7 months! How ridiculous. I haven't been there in 7 months and they want me to pay for something I've never used? I thought it was cancelled. Their excuse: "auto renew." Great massages. Terrible business practices. The membership is a joke. If you miss a massage, they will charge you anyway, and then you are owed massages. If you try to cancel your membership, you have 30 days to use the massages you have accumulated. If you don't use them, you lose them, even if you have already paid for them. Does that make sense? I scheduled a massage and facial. In order to accommodate me on a Saturday morning they welcomed me at 9 when they don't even open until 9:30! The young man that did the massage was very good and not too firm (though I am sure you could ask for more pressure). After the massage I was given a robe and slippers to walk to the facial, in the room next door. The facial was great and my skin looks wonderful. Desi the "Retreat Director" at Cypress Town Center located at 25845 Northwest Fwy, Cypress TX 77429 was rude & unprofessionally he's definitely not "front desk " quality. He may be cute but is personality and demeanor is HORRIBLE Because of him today July 18, 2019 I canceled my membership that I have had for 19 months!! Barbara my therapist is very knowledgeable and has always meet my needs. I am a Lupus patient and as soon as I would feel a flare up I would call for a massage. Patrick and the other front desk staff has always been very nice. I would suggest you put the Retreat Director behind the scene so he don't run off any other clients. There is a saying in the medical field " A doctor is only as good as his staff " same holds true for massage facilities. Mr. Grossman I'm sure you're not in business to loose customer and I would like to think that you care enough about your therapist that you will prevent and front desk staff from running off their and your clients. read more

I received a gift certificate from my husband for a 2-hour massage. I told them this when I booked the appointment. They massaged me for an hour and took the remainder off of some products I bought, but I would have rather had the 2-hour massage. The massage itself was as good as any other massage I've had, but would have been nice if I could have laid there quietly and not been chatted up and asked questions by the therapist. After your first massage, they pressure you to join the spa for monthly visits, whereby they deduct the money from your checking each month, and you will be owed one massage each month. I was also told that if my massages stacked up and I wanted to trade one of them for a gift card so I could give it to a friend, I could do this. They were very friendly and accommodating on that visit. After a while, when my financial circumstances changed, I tried to cancel and was advised I needed to give a written 30 day notice. I went in to give this notice and was told I had to use the 2 massages available (that I HAD paid for) within the next 3 weeks. I asked about a gift card for one or both of them and was told they do not allow this. This is not what I was told upon selling me the package! Why would massages I had paid for expire? They were very friendly and caring when I signed up, but when I had to cancel, they sneered at me and the manager was rude. I belonged to Massage Envy a few years ago where the program was the same and it was much cheaper. If I join another massage program, it will be with Massage Envy. read more

I had an appointment at 9AM on the 25th of September. I was so excited. I took a warm bath before my appointment. I was all ready for my massage my wife bought me as a 50th Birthday Present. I showed up 15 min before 9AM because they told me too. They said I needed to fill out the records. I showed up and the door was locked. They did open the door after they saw me. Then I sat to fill out the papers and the nice lady came over to tell me that the lady that was to massage me called in sick. I wasn't all that shocked because that is what I have read on the Yelp Reviews. This happens often. They had no replacements on site, my only option was to come back later. I asked why they didn't call me earlier? That would have been better than me getting all prepared and driving up there. Anyway they rescheduled me for 2PM. My massage at 2PM was great. Eva was my massage person. She was awesome. However, the management to get to that point sucked. You know they could have given me some sort of "We're So Sorry" type of thing, like maybe 30 Min extra, or maybe they could pay Eva my tip. But nothing.
