It was my first time seeing her and she took the time to really understand what was bothering me. She was engaging, inquisitive, and genuinely concerned about the treatment. I have had two 90 min massages within 3 days and have another 60 minute massage scheduled for this coming monday. I guess that says alot about what I think of her skills. I went to her in conjunction with having acupuncture treatments for sciatic nerve pain affecting my lower back and right leg. She is very informative and thorough.. you will get a very professional treatment by a very skilled provider. After the first massage I was only marginally better immediately but by the second day I realized that I was able to move without as much pain.. (20-30%) After the second massage almost immediate improvement. .another 20-30%. I will be getting a second acupuncture treatment on friday and another massage as I said on Monday and have every expectation of vast if not complete improvement. The studio was quiet, clean, and had just the right type of "yoga music" to help me zone out while I was getting worked on. I hadn't had a massage in awhile and wasn't feeling my best. She took the time to ask about issues or preferences, which was great. It's good to know you're getting a personal treatment rather than a "one routine for all bodies." Met Shera at the gym doing Yoga in the sauna and could just tell she was a body worker. She got me in same day and I'm so glad I went. After dancing for 5 days in a row, really needed some work. The office has a very nice vibe and the table was comfortably warm. She intuitively found all kinds of spots that needed some work and her touch is creative and full of great energy. She is also not afraid to go deep if that is what you want and she maintained a perfectly deep pressure throughout our hour and a half session. Definitely loosened up the tight areas. Just had an outstanding massage at Massage Intervention by Owner Sheri Johnson. My wife and I have regular massages where we live and when we travel. We travel extensively with many trips overseas, pre-Covid-19, and get massages around the whole. So I'm a great judge when it comes to massages. Sheri gives and outstanding massage and it's obvious she is very experienced with amazing technique. The 90 minute massage flew by. She was keen to ensure that she was give me the level of deep tissue massage that I desired and she delivered. Small town biz scheduling problems. If you want to try and pay someone for a service but be insulted by rude, dippity owner, this is your spot. It's not Customer Service geared; the Owner thinks they are "doing you a favor" if YOU pay THEM. isn't going to work with you if you need a modern scheduling service. It's as if this place is essentially interested in tourists on vacation. I called the owner about the fact the therapist was fine with rescheduling -owner was not! She had texted me a threat on my Fri. I was in court for a last minute Jury Trial LOL. ***She will double charge! She stated! I have never been here. I moved from NYC. She told me "she would charge me twice" as a threat. This is a masage therapy place. Owner lol threw an insult - and told me to "grow up!" Amazing. I was literally in Court due to Judicial Order. I was trying to book a massage. It's a massage for Christ's sake. I will not be patronizing anymore after the threat of double charges in a text from a massage place. Wanted to love this place. Insane. crap in terms of being on Vagaro or MindBody. Go to a Professional; and have fun :) unless you want to be chastized by a masseuse then definitely patronize the business I am certain she will oblige LOL! Shera was wonderful. I was gifted a massage by a very special friend and I was not really sure what to expect. Her space is soothing and very relaxing. You can tell every element in the room has been picked with special care and purpose. I loved her different use of aromatherapy oils at different times during the massage, yet none of them were overpowering or invasion. I am very senstive to smell and they were perfect and of course she asked first before using the any scents. The most important part however is the strengthen is her hands.
