Priscilla was truly the best masseuse I have ever had & I look forward to many future appointments. She was there to greet me at the door, walk me into the room, review my intake form, and go over all of my needs. She was both personable & professional - I was completely at ease from the moment we began chatting. I paid $195 (not including tip) for an experience which included a 1hr massage, 1hr Thai Reflexology, foot scrub, and CBD oil (mixed with my choice of peppermint) for the entire massage. I caught myself falling asleep several times throughout because of how relaxed I was. She was perfect when it came to checking in on pressure & how the massage was going. heavenly! When I walked in the room felt like I was enveloped in a comfy cocoon. It was so relaxing. I really enjoyed the texture of the linens and that Bonnie had tea available. I could tell by the way she traced each muscle to release the tension that she is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I came to Bonnie for a pregnancy massage. She was fantastic! The massage table has a belly cutout so you can lay on your stomach without hurting your baby bump. This made a world of difference. Bonnie was soft spoken the entire time and I was able to completely relax. She brought life back to my hips and lower back which are both my problem areas with my pregnancy. Bonnie was very conscious of the discomforts of pregnancy and made sure to ask me whether I needed anything or how I was doing. She also keeps many pillows handy. I highly recommend Bonnie. The first time I saw Bonnie, it was what I would consider an emergency. I'm an occasional migraine sufferer. While I have a migraine medication combo that works great for me and have learned other coping mechanisms over the years for those days when they are not quite enough, I still get one every couple of years that is an absolute doozy. On this particular morning, I woke up in migraine hell--throbbing pain, light/sound/scent sensitivity, and nausea so bad I couldn't eat--and nothing could touch it, as it was unfortunately being compounded and fed by tension in my neck and back, which had locked up in response to the pain. It a cycle of doom that I needed to break. As luck would have it, I'd been online only a week or two before researching massage therapists to help with occasional neck and back issues stemming from an old injury, but I hadn't yet decided on a therapist or a location. Well, I pulled up my research and quickly skimmed through the shortlist: I needed someone available right away, located close, in an office that didn't overdo the aromatherapy. The spa where Bonnie worked was less than a mile away and was known for its light touch with fragrance. Bonnie herself had very positive reviews that contained words like "kind" and "soft-spoken," and she had an opening later that same morning. I booked immediately and then waited in agony for the minutes to click by. On arriving at the location, I was met by the kindest, most sympathetic therapist I could have hoped for. She listened attentively to my concerns and massage preferences, and then she got to work. The pressure was exactly what I'd asked for: a firm massage that stopped just short of deep-tissue. (When my back's a mess, a light touch is useless, but I hate walking out of a massage feeling like every muscle has been pounded with a meat tenderizer.) I'm not exaggerating when I say that Bonnie worked miracles that day. As she released the tension in my neck and back, the pain slowly slipped away, and I walked out of her office feeling human again.
