Thank you for your feedback Mr. Lavin, Yes, I had a positive experience during my first appointment. I respectfully disagree with several aspects of your description (which has been taken down) of the disappointing second appointment in question. You were not present, nor a part of the conversation. I was abused by my youth pastor starting at age 11and it went on for several years. I stopped it when I had the strength to do so. I was only sharing with my therapist the struggles that abuse can cause (partly because her bio states that she has a 4 year degree in psychology and I thought she might find it interesting) I did not ask for anything inappropriate. Since she has 20 years experience as a massage therapist, she is the expert. All she needed to say, was that she did not feel comfortable with a topic we were discussing. Your therapist was talking with me for most of the hour and she had good insights. My intentions were pure. However, your response has left me feeling like an abuse victim all over again. No compassion for me and the hell I lived through. I have noticed that you respond kindly to women who have complained and you offer them a full refund and a personal complimentary massage. Not for a survivor like me though. Some might argue, that when you give women and men, bare breast massages, it is highly inappropriate and stepping over boundaries. So please try and have some compassion towards me, because you have shown none. A little humility and kindness can go a long way and bring life changing healing to people like me. We purchased a Two-Hour Private Couple's Massage Workshop using the Lomi method. It was a wonderful experience. This was our first time in such a workshop, so there was potential to feel uncomfortable, uncertain of how things would go, would we be self-conscious...but Joe put us at ease. I booked a 90 minute massage with Thandiwe and I've had at least 200 massages in my life through a more sterile environment facility that accepted insurance and let me tell you MASSAGE REIMAGINED is a huge difference between those sterile places. I will be returning at least 1x/quarter. Best massage ever. Daisy is absolutely marvelous, amazing, brilliant, skilled - so many adjectives to put here. I was in Seattle for a conference and booked anyone available for a 90 min massage. Daisy really cared about knowing any issues and working through them - especially with my right side that gives me lots of problems. She also gave me a few easy stretches I could do on my own - unique ones that I hadn't heard of before that stretch the exactly right areas. One stretch has been working on a part of my right hip flexor and my hamstring that I don't think has worked properly in over a year. So happy I booked this last minute. I had an awesome 90 minute session with Travis. I'm a massage student who's just finishing my program and I'm now determined to enroll in a class with Joe (the owner) to learn some of these great techniques. Travis has a very calm energy and immediately put me at ease. The massage room was very warm, cozy and comfortable. The Lomi style draping was totally new to me, it was very professionally done and I felt completely comfortable--I also stayed nice and warm throughout. Travis has an intuitive touch and great flow--he seems to know the perfect amount of pressure for your body. He's also very sensitive to your preferences and goals for the session. I felt very comfortable, relaxed and nurtured throughout the entire massage. He certainly addressed my whole-being, not just my body. I was having quite a challenging day and arrived feeling a bit scattered and tense. I left feeling totally relaxed, calm and so much lighter. Travis' massage was the work I had been craving for years. When he finished and walked out I lay there for a moment realizing that this had been exactly what I felt like massage should feel like, and why so many massages I had received beforehand didn't feel complete to me. I adored all of the stretching he incorporated into it, the full body Lomi strokes (both of those were new to me to receive) and the deep smoothness, as well as creativity, of his movement. He was peacefully confident and intuitive, easy to trust, and communicated very well both verbally and non verbally. Pressure wise it was perfect, no soreness the next day, but still could feel the wonderful effects of the massage, and he was very attentive to how my body responded to pressures. The room was artful and entirely comfortable, as well as the draping. All in all, this was the best massage I have ever received, and I am beyond greatful to have found Massage Reimagined. read more

Her touch was perfect and she created the perfect environment during the massage for me to get to a very gel-like state. The space is conveniently located, quiet and the intake process is quick and painless :). It is very thorough in terms of the draping - which can be a little different with Lomi style massage. The rooms are cozy and well appointed, very spa like without being too hokey. The table was so comfy, the temperature was perfect and I was told I had total control over that if it got too warm or cold. The only disappointing thing was that I only booked a 60 minute massage, instead of 90! But I will absolutely be back! I gotta try the 4-handed massage! I had so much tension in my shoulders I could feel pinching when I breathed- I was in a lot of pain. So I try this place for the first time and got a 2 hour massage. Laura was absolutely wonderful. Even in all the pain I was in I somehow still got so relaxed I was passing out. It was hands down the best massage I've ever gotten. The massage room was very nicely set up- perfect lighting, music, warmth. Laura seemed very intuitive to what my body needed without overdoing it as I've had at other places. No up charges for different kinds of massages and techniques which was a pleasant surprise. They also have thorough intake papers so there is no confusion as to what you want and don't want in your massage which I really really appreciated. Not only does it make you feel safe but you can create the exact type of massage experience you want.
