Amazing massage! Mia knows just the right amount of pressure to use and is very intuitive. Highly recommend!

Mia is amazing! We had her give us massages as a special treat for us during Covid. Mia came to us (we set up in our garage to allow maximal air flow) and gave us spectacular 90 min massages. Everything was super safe, and she wore a mask the entire time, while we had a mask on when face up on the table. It was also super convenient to get the massage at home instead of going to a spa We're both former collegiate athletes so we've had our fair share of deep tissue massage. Mia's massage was deep and intense, without ever being too painful. She also used active release techniques to get out some of our deeper knots. Mia Tisdel, LMT ("Mia's Mobile Massage"), is both a wonderful person and a gifted massage therapist. The combination is unbeatable! Mia is nothing short of magic. Her deep tissue work is intense, and very, very healing. I have multiple physical concerns, and Mia consistently works to the level that I need, never too much, never, ever too little. She will take into account where I am with each session - when my tendinosis acts up, I get hand work as a focus. When I am exhausted from 12 - 14 hours of screen time, I get peace, quiet, and my muscles stretched and relaxed. I have been getting massages for decades. Mia is very simply the top of her field. COVID precautions are fantastic. She tests regularly and takes all possible health and safety measures, even wearing an apron and staying masked. The face cradle has a built-in "mask" so I can lower mine for the face down part. That works really well. Also, if you like cupping, or have never tried it, it is AMAZING. OK, when it is over you kind of look like you lost a fight with an octopus, but it seems to pull the tension right out of my back! I've had mobile sessions at my home, and sessions at her studio. Mia gives an excellent massage. Deep, focused work with a wonderfully relaxing flow. Very therapeutic but also very relaxing, my favorite combination. Give her a call you will be very glad you did. I first went to Mia for massage when she worked at a small naturopathic clinic near my office -- she was amazing and helped me work through lower back & hip pain/stiffness. I had such a good experience with her that I hunted down her current business when I found out she was no longer at the clinic. She booked me for an appointment on the same day that I texted her, set up in my home, and gave me yet another amazing massage that made my tweaky left shoulder feel better than normal. Mia is upbeat, extremely skilled at deep tissue work, and takes the time to understand your problem areas. During the massage she is super chill, calming, and works out every ounce of tension and stiffness -- you will feel like a wrung out washcloth (in a good way) when she is done! Even though I'm bummed I can't pop next door while I'm at work for an appointment with her, I am now convinced that it is even better to be able to get a massage from her in the comfort of your own home. I had been having a lot of neck and shoulder pain often accompanied by migraines and knew I needed a massage, but COVID made it feel too risky. We ended up finding Mia's Mobile Massage and were so thrilled. My two housemates and I all got a massage in our backyard with Mia. Mia was so thoughtful, considerate, and intentional about everything, and was very safe with COVID. She wiped down all the surfaces, changed the linens between people, and we were all masked the whole time. Mia is an incredible masseuse, and very strong. So glad I found her on yelp! I have a newborn and it's so hard for Any of us to get out of the house. I booked an appointment for three people and Mia was AMAZING! She was able to meet the needs of our different bodies - deep tissue, Swedish and, for my mom, a massage that focused on her aching legs. I highly recommend Mia! I have been a loyal client of Mia's for years. I was referred to her by a family member and have never sought the services of another massage therapist since. Mia does amazing deep tissue work, and time after time has fixed my brokenness. I am an avid hiker and mountaineer who always returns to sea-level with flare ups of Achilles tendinitis and/or pulled muscles.
