Massage was good , but at the end , the last asked for more tip then I gave ... Edit: Massage star owner called me after this and was very rude and now I see this very unhinged response. If the owner just explained that they fired her, I could've removed the review (which I doubt they did, how could you if you did not know about this for 822 days). But instead, they are mocking my review. And for your information, I left a $20 tip for a couples massage and she asked for more. Yes, people are allowed to leave a review, way after the fact "Bro". This place is a scam. The website says you are required to book online, so I attempted to do that. I entered my data and credit card information. The website kept saying I missed a field. I checked multiple times, tried logging in, tried viewing it differently, but still unable to book it. When it finally processed, it was too late for me to go to the appointment, so I canceled it. I even called Massage Star to ensure it didn't process and the guy said it didn't. But they charged my credit card anyway. I called Massage Star again and the front desk guy raised his voice at me, even though I wasn't trying to be confrontational, I was trying to understand what was going on. I even told him to please lower his voice. All in all, there are many other places in Tampa to go with better experience. read more

I found this amazing gem place incidentally and I'm SO GLAD I DID. Absolutely the best massage ever! Euie was amazing! She asked me where I wanted to her to focus and I told her my back and she was amazing! I slept a bit through it because Of how relaxing it was! I had talked to John the owner to redeem Yelp offer and they he was so professional and attentive to what I was asking. They open until 9:30 so its great if you need a great massage after a long day. Literally was able to book a last minute appointment on Mother's Day. The process was super simple and the massage extremely affordable. $90 for a combo 90 minute massage 60 mins total body & 30 mins Foot massage All in all paid $120 because I pre-tipped. The massage was heavenly. I informed her I was super sore from the gym and the biceps needed special attention. She went right to work. Completely professional Massage, even did the scalp too. Not only massaged the biceps but did a nice stretch of them as well. Additional oil, lotion, hot towel, and hot stones all included. No Additional Fee. I smashed L1 vertebra in my back. It was surgically rebuilt. Unfortunately the nerves leaving that vertebra were pinched and now I suffer hot, searing pain that will bring me to my knees. I needed help. The pain starts in the lower back and it goes down through the glutes, groin and thighs. I called John, the owner, and he knows of my pain. I came in and met Sabrina. Wow! went for a massage yesterday morning, I was the 9:30 slot, so first in for the day. the lady at the front desk didn't welcome me, just asked me immediately if i was the 9:30 slot, i said yes and she said "show me your ID", & nearly snatched it out of my hand when i gave it to her. she stood up and told me to follow her to the room- really wasn't enjoying my time there at this point bc this was very harsh and she had no care to be more welcoming/pleasant. had my massage therapist come in, didn't really greet me either just began the massage. she also initially just left the door open to the room we were in, and I had to ask her if she could shut the door for my privacy. it was a very OK massage. she also was too rough at some points and I repeatedly asked her to be more gentle. tipped her 19% because I know everyone has money they need to make and while she was nice, honestly the service overall didn't really deserve that. will not come back edit: your place is a shack and you talk to people on here like you have money to lose!!! teach your staff proper massage techniques at least too do better... read more

We needed a long overdue massage from our travels. We did our research on Yelp! After reading the reviews we decided this place is legit and proper. We went online, booked, and paid for a 60 mins couple massage here. The masseuses were great. They both asked if the strength is correct and what areas are bothering us. I was really tight and tension, she really helped me release the knots in my back. She worked on some of my acupressure/acupoint. They offer hot stone and cupping with no additional cost. However due to timing, I didn't get to try the hot stone or cupping. We will return again next time. read more

This is the second time I've been here. I changed up my workout routine and my muscles have been so tight and sore. After 2 weeks, I decided I needed a massage to loosen them up. I told her my issues. She started to massage and said all of my muscles were really tight. For an extra $20 they have something just to loosen my muscles, I said yes. When she was done, I feel 90% better! I didn't need to take Aleve so I could sleep. I can't afford to get massages on a regular basis.
