I have also had an amazing experience there. I have seen a few different massage therapists and all have been excellent. I am currently going to Melissa - she does a wonderful job and checks in throughout the session about pressure, comfort, and reminds to relax and breathe. I also appreciate that they have parking available. I did the 45 min. Vedic Head Massage with Austin and it was amazing! They focus on your scalp, face/jaw, neck, shoulders, briefly the arms/hands. I personally have a lot of jaw and face tension, and have been trying to find a place that offers that type of massage. Thank goodness for The Lotus Room! I will definitely be back.

There is street parking available, as it's a downtown location. My husband was able to just drop me off at the door though! I was greeted promptly, directed to the very nice bathroom/changing room that has a fluffy robe and shoes (I just wore my own slippers I brought). Lots of things in there for you to freshen up with after your massage, including showers! I was offered a drink and ordered some tea and was led to a beautifully serene waiting room. This is where I filled out my paperwork. There also were a few snacks offered! Michelle was amazing from start to finish. I appreciate they ask before if you want quiet or conversation, so it's not awkward if you just want silence! I was sore for 24 hours after the massage, but as soon as the initial soreness I realized that I was completely pain free. It's been about two weeks since I've been in and haven't had any lower back problems since. I lived in Asia for over five years and I have had hundreds of massages, no exaggeration.
