The atmosphere is cacophony- dozens of signs from different times and different fonts and different warnings plastered on every single surface. Hallways are small and dark. You have slippers and robes and towels easily available and everything you get is well priced. It's simply too loud for my spa preferences. It was odd who was asked to hand over phones to keep behind the front desk and who was not. And the shower in the ladies bathroom IS in bad shape. But I can see why it's hard to find parking during peak times and will be a go to place for many.

However, the staff began rushing us to leave significantly earlier than the posted closing hours. They started turning off the lights, stopped the music, and began cleaning right around us. It was clear they wanted us out -- despite the fact that we were still well within the allowed time. When we calmly questioned this and asked for an explanation, instead of engaging in a respectful dialogue, the staff called the police. Let me repeat that: the police were called simply because we were present during business hours and politely asked why we were being pushed out. It was humiliating, absurd, and completely uncalled for. I have rarely seen such blatant disrespect toward paying customers. An establishment that calls the police on well-behaved guests does not deserve even a single star. This kind of behavior by the staff is shameful and shows a complete lack of professionalism. I strongly recommend that management urgently review their service standards and retrain the staff. My friends and I will never return -- and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My 38 year old daughter is battling cancer and lost her hair. Her doctors are at UPenn in Philadelphia and on their website we found Gini G's. Big mistake. We had a family wedding so we were pressured to buy a wig. We picked one out which cost $3,600. She just plopped on her head and told us to come back before the wedding to have it styled. A few days before the wedding, we returned for styling. We told her that the wig was very puffy near the hairline. She wet it and showed us it was flat. Looked at us like we were nuts! Then styled. My daughter brought wig to the hotel before wedding. When she removed from cover and put on, it was a flop. No curls. Hair is a mess. Gini also told us we could only color it darker not lighter. If it's real hair, that doesn't make sense. We have since brought to a wig specialist. They said we were very much overcharged. Gini is very cold and is not sympathetic to cancer patients. Once again, she asked a few questions about how I was feeling and where I was feeling it. She was most interested in how I had responded to the first massage two weeks before. In fact, my lower back, legs and shoulders responded well last time, and I was ready for another strong stretching and deep tissue therapeutic hour. This time, except when I had to interact with her by resisting her pushing/pulling, I was more relaxed and was able to zone out and go somewhere within while she worked her magic. Marla dug deeper into my thighs which had absorbed the result of two herniated discs. Painful, but necessary to relieve stress and increase flexibility. Torquing my hips and legs to open space between my discs. Leaning her weight into my folded knees to help loosen the perpetual tightness in my lumbar spine. The time passed quickly, but at its end I felt great, and almost intoxicated from the work done. The spa allowed me to sit in a quiet room for a few minutes until that sensation ended.
