I found amazing Massage Therapists at Naples, Fort Myers Myers, and Cape Coral locations... You'll have to do your homework the girls at the front desk give great recommendations. They know who does which modality well... Some people like Swedish, others mid range, lymphatic, sports... The spa is clean, price is reasonable. I've been going here for at least 10 years. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but I've gone to many high-end resorts and had terrible treatments. read more

It was fine. Been here few times now. There's nothing wrong w/this massage & facial spot but I also wouldn't rush to return. Located in a strip mall w/easy parking. Check-in is typically a pain, but this time the front desk staff was so much better than they've been in the past - yeah! There's a small waiting room - it's not really a lounge, more just gets u out of the lobby so ur therapist can pick u up. I most recently received a 1 hr massage and the gal was very nice, but could have used some improvements in her bedside mannerisms that help induce relaxation. For example, softly telling me she's going to lower the sheet to start on my back & then slowly/gently pulling it down rather than just yanking the sheet off down to my rear - ooh chilly & surprising. Warming the oil would have been really lovely as they used a ton of oil and it was all a little cool. I did, however, appreciate the heating pad under the sheet. As for the massage itself, I like firm pressure and she started off really good w/ some nice techniques. Understandably by the end her hands were probably getting tired as the firmness weakened, but we ended up w/simply moving oil around on my legs. Would I go back? Maybe, but I'll probably try someone else. One time I had a really amazing guy who was fabulous w/the bedside ambiance, pressure and getting into the muscles (he was a 5!) so it's really about finding the right fit. Massage was decent. Asked for deep tissue so I could have something between Swedish and Deep, so the therapist was paid. I don't remember if the therapist introduced herself. Strokes were to fast I never relaxed completely, I have PTSD so that's not always attainable. I asked for gluteal work and she ignored me or didn't understand me. She was kind quiet and hard working. She used plain oil, hot towels. Some stretching and/or better hamstring and glut work would go a long way. Spa was nice but very cold. My table was heated and the therapist did not have control over the room temperature. The concept of this spa is great, execution needs to be evaluated. read more

Unfortunately, my experience mirrored the one Shelly L wrote about. I agree that the ambiance in the lobby and the waiting room are nice but the actual treatment room lacked the same feeling. The feel of the table and the quality of the linens and blanket were lacking. My "massage therapist" was awkward and lacked the polish one should receive with quality massage education. She didn't address entire muscle bellies; let alone muscle groups and she skipped entire areas. My experience receiving massage therapy is extensive. This was a very poor session. Based on today's experience, I will not be returning. I feel badly for any highly skilled professional massage therapist working there. read more

My daughter in law bought me a massage as a gift for Christmas. When I arrived for my appointment they wouldn't accept the print out from the email, I had to have the original email that had the link to the same print out of the certificate I had in my hand. Awkwardly I had to call my daughter at work to get it. It was literally a copy of the same thing I had handed her. My consultation lasted two minutes. She asked if I had any pain that I wanted her to focus on and I told her I had a tension headache and stiff neck I wanted her to spend extra time in that area so I could have some relief. My deep tissue massage was a nice medium to light massage that did my arms calves, feet and lower back. She spent about 2 minutes on my next and then said I was out of time. It was a gift so I just dismissed it and said thanks. Then as I left I was told I had to check out. Then was told it would be $10. I asked why they said if I wanted to come back it would be $120 for a message but if I paid the $10 now it would only be $75. I explained it was a gift I was only redeeming and had no plans to return. Her reply was well are you going to at least leave a tip. read more

First thing, I was really excited to have the massage because I'm getting ready to have hip surgery and I have knots like crazy in my back. I got there early. The girl didn't pick me up till seven after and there was a language barrier. She didn't speak English very hard to understand and when she asked, what does she want to concentrate on I had to ask her what what did she say so I guess I said I'd like you to work on my back and shoulders and neck. She worked on them for about 10 minutes and went onto everything else. I was so disappointed when I came out before the hour was up. I was told some people just like to do it early and then the lady comes out back and says oh I'll look at the computer and will look at the cameras cause she didn't believe me. I said just send me an email never got the email. She probably never looked at it. She probably went back to eating whatever she was eating. read more

They harass you to try their membership, the staff seem unhappy and there are no amenities out, just water. The massage was ok. Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. For a cheap massage it is fine. But I wouldn't go back for the full price or the membership. Definitely not worth it. read more

I booked 90 minute Swedish massage. It was the longest 90 minutes of my life. There was no music or background sounds. The room was incredibly noisy. I asked if music from the hallway could be turned up and was told no. Between the foot traffic in the hallway with the voices and slamming doors, the air conditioner kicking on and off, and listening to the laundry in the next room, I couldn't relax and was repeatedly startled. The employee at the front desk apologized and told me Happy Mothers Day. I emailed a manager and was told they would note my account to make sure future appointments would be in a room in the front of the building away from the bathrooms and laundry. Why would I want to go back after wasting money on a 90 minute massage? read more

2 stars only for ambiance in the lobby and the waiting room. Actual treatment room left a lot to be desired - seemed pretty cheap and thrown together. Lighting was nice and dim, music was annoying and WAY too loud. My "massage therapist" HAD to be new. Super awkward, did not have even a 20 second conversation about which areas I wanted to focus on - even when I spelled it out directly, she didn't spend ANY additional time on those areas. While I understand that 1 hour is a very short massage, she literally didn't even touch half my muscles. They seem afraid to touch you...spent more time telling me about the panic button in the room than listening to what you actually need. Take the damn 4 layers of covers off and actually work the muscles, please. I get it's Swedish (poor choice, I didn't make the reservation) but even with Swedish, I should feel SOMETHING, right? I'm pretty experienced with massage in multiple countries, and this was a mediocre to poor hour that I won't get back. I will not be returning. read more

I was in today for a massage and dealt with Susan, the manager. When I came in she asked if I had any gift cards. I said yes and gave her the gift card. She told me my service would be covered. When I came out of my massage she told me that my service wouldn't be covered with the specific gift card I had even though it said it was good for an hour massage. She gave me some long confusing explanation as to why instead of just taking responsibility for being in the wrong. I was very annoyed and I wouldn't have gotten the service had I known. I told her I'm not paying anything because I was told I wouldn't have to and I left. This lady is a poor excuse for a manager. Bad customer service. I won't be returning. read more

Jeffery is the best!! He goes above and beyond. I was hurting all over my body and he hit the exact points with the right pressure. If your need deep tissue he is the guy. But he also gentle and makes sure you are doing well. He makes sure you are comfortable. Soft spoken, caring, and just great!! I cannot say enough about him. Expensive, front desk is a bit rude and the massage wasn't worth it. I felt ripped off. I asked for deep tissue and it felt like the girl was barely touching me even though I asked for more pressure. When I came into the Spa the staff wasn't friendly. I was taken to the back and waited. A Man came and told me he was my therapist. No one asked or told me I would have a man as a therapist. He barely spoke English. He was hurting me the whole time. Pushing me into the table and using his hands way too hard on me. I was ready to cry. I was glad he didn't do a whole hour even though you pay for it. I had a add on and no one explained to me that this was a part of my groupon. The girls in there are unfriendly and even once I told them what happened and that I wasn't satisfy they did not care. I will never go to this place again. read more

So confused..bought the companies year anniversary package for the Cape Coral location..my girlfriend and myself had extremely lack luster massages. To the point where I told Jessie to please please be more rough. All her response was is to come back and get a therapeutic massage????? We both (separate rooms and different ladies, Jessie and Jessica) had terrible experiences. My hour massage was scheduled for 10 to 11. Realistically it was 9:50 to 10:40...as Jessie explained; she spent too much time "massaging" my back; more like "touching" my back..that she couldn't massage my hands, feet, or legs. I made an appointment online foe a message. I received a confirmation reply. So I showed up and was told I did not have an apt because I did not call to confirm. When I showed them the text, they said, ya, but you needed to call. Ok. Not right, but I let it slide. Today I tried to use a gift card and was told it expired. When I asked about them extending the time as they were closed for the pandemic, I was pretty much told oh well. I cancelled my "membership" that I had to pay for each month while unable to use do to them being closed from no fault of theirs, but not mine either. So I would never reccomend them. I guess thier pockets are more important. If an attorney reads this, is it legal to charge for services you cannot receive? I did not sign up for that when I signed my contract. I understand that it was unpredictable, but how is this legal? Just wondering read more

Was an ok massage. Paid for 60 minute and got about 39 minutes on the table. They say that it's a 50 minute massage with a 10 minute consultation. They started 5 minutes late, spent 5 minutes consulting and still ended up getting "done" about 15 minutes before my appointment ended. I pointed this out to the staff and they replied that they would review camera footage and give me a call. I don't recommend doing business here. read more

Oh my, buyer beware. This place operates so close to the edge of the law that it isn't funny. They have signs posted that state, "No Contracts." But you sign a " membership agreement " which they later tell you is a binding contract and actually charge you to get out of if and when you wish to end your " membership." I was charged $45.00 to end my membership and that was after 45 minutes of argument with the manager who called the franchise owner who determined that I could only pay my way out of the "membership" or put the membership on vacation and pay $5.00 a month for my "vacation membership" during which time I would not be able to use the membership. It would just be " waiting for me to return to use it." You do not want to have anything to do with these people. They are slick with the words they use and unethical in their practices. read more

I went for a massage today. I arrived 90 min early because my friend gave me a Groupon paper with account number and not voucher she couldn't bring it up. I did give them the account number which was good good at other places. Girl at front desk tried to help but when she called out the other one for help I think her name was Desire she was very put off that she actually had to work and wasn't very nice. I finally told my friend while on the phone with her to get her money back because they didn't want to seem to help. read more

Danielle, the GM, is extremely rude (I told her on the phone she was getting testy with me and it didn't seem to phase her. Not professional at all)... They have a mother's day special for $100 so I bought 2. Groupon has the same exact deal for $75. She refused to refund me the difference or the full refund at all (even though her shift leader, Hayley, told me it wouldn't be an issue the day prior). It's clear they're not on the same page nor do they communicate with one another, as Hayley told me the manager would be in at 3:30pm and calling me back and no one ever did. Groupon would take a cut of the $75 so they would still be getting more money with the refund of difference. I saved the deal I purchased and no where on the certificate does it say final sale or no refunds available so the bank said it was fine to dispute since the business is refusing to give me a refund on a service I haven't redeemed. Danielle said her regional manager was with her during my call and clearly the regional manager didn't mind the way Danielle was speaking to me or that I would be disputing the charges, writing this review, and never returning. Thanks Massage Luxe, I've told my friends and family, and the massages and facials are subpar anyways :) It's sad that bad PR resulting in poor management can negatively affect your business, but even more sad that you simply don't care. read more

I got a Swedish massage by Andy and he was very attentive, listened to exactly what I needed, and made me feel very comfortable. The warm towels on my feet and back were amazing. I joined a membership program expecting to get good rates. Many discounted rates available that are better than membership rates (Groupon, Facebook promotions). Disappointed! Place is generic but OK. Heated massage tables are a nice plus. Daisy was a good masseuse and I would recommend her. I'd like more facilities here. No showers etc. I've been to much better! Place is ALWAYS empty. I doubt they will survive past Spring since this is the busy season in this area. Insisted that I had to come into visit the facility in order to resign my membership - so that I could sign their online form??? And then I wasn't offered a copy of that resignation form. I received a massage at Massage Luxe, and it hurt! I kept telling my masseuse to lighten up, but she apparently didn't understand me. She finally lightened up when I started yelling, "ouch!" I told my experience to a front desk employee, but got no response other than, "I'm sorry; you might want to try another masseuse next time." Poor customer service . . . makes a customer feel that making money is the most important factor at this place (there's a lot of show at Massage Luxe, but I feel it's really not about the customer).
