Shop did a great job, but there was some confusion over the bill that got resolved a couple of weeks later.

I was passing through the state of Idaho, the trucks hub was whistling (driver side) Cris the owner said it was the trucks front suspension that needed repair. Paid over 2k and the whistle noise was still there. There is a lot more to this fraudulent service By Cris the owner and his shop. Will post on a later time. Just advising customers to beware and specially if you are traveling through the state like I was, Cris and his shop thinks because I am in another state I am going to let this matter go. Since June of last year I have been trying to get a response from Cris the owner of the the shop and he and his shop have been avoiding my formal complaints from AAA, BBB and several certified letters requesting re compensation for the scam I strongly believe he and his shop did and continue to try to do when the truck was in thier possession. read more

We broke down early in the morning on our way to Oregon. AAA towing recommended Addison Care Care to where we decided to tow our van for repairs. As soon as we arrived, the owner was able to inspect our van to find out what broke down and what needed repaired. We like the way they were able to inspect and take pictures of problems and issues. The owner showed us specifically what needed to be repaired and the costs. We appreciate the way he took care of us keeping us informed as we waited for the parts and repairs. While we were waiting he recommended Norm's Cafe, an easy few blocks away walk. This made for a better afternoon with five children wanting to get back on the road. read more

What a SCAM. I had a minor issue with a clicking sound on the dashboard. I came to Addison for repairing this particular issue. They did a full inspection of the car without informing me and then charged me $111 for the inspection. Interestingly, their inspection report didn't have anything on the issue/repair I asked for! I was not in a mood to argue or waste my time since I was midway in my travel. Did I ask them to do a full body inspection? NO. Did they tell me that they are doing a full body inspection? NO. Did they tell me that they are going to charge $100+ for an inspection? NO. read more

Stay away from this shop, it is in my strong belief Cris the owner and Addison Car Care are sheep in wolfs clothing. We were defrauded massively a year ago, I hope Cris and Addison Car Care does not get away with what they have done. We are out of state passing through with truck troubles and landed in Addison Car Care (mechanic shop). Cris, the owner thinks we are going to let this be, we are not! It's been over a year us trying to get any type of answers to what they did and no response whatsoever. We have emailed, sent certified letters, made a formal complaint with, AAA, BBB and even with the Attorney's General's Consumer Protections Office. Cris and Addison Car Care has not responded to anyone of the three agencies we filed a formal complaint in regards to this matter. Some of the three agencies that we filed a formal complaint are flabbergasted by the zero response. I was a little puzzled that the Attorney General's office was not able get an answer. The Attorney General's Office can only act when the business in question response formally to the Attorney General's office. If a response is not given the Attorney General cannot do anything, so that is what they say. It only concludes that they are evading the fraud Cris and Addison Car Care have committed thus far. So impressed and happy with this repair shop! My husband and I were on our way to Denver when our Volvo SUV broke down outside of town. We phoned Addison early the next day and thankfully took us in same day. They even found a part from a salvage yard - very clever since we would have fun stuck for days waiting for a new part to be delivered! I took my 2003 Jeep Liberty in to get an estimate to fix the heater, and was told it needed a coolant flush and a new thermostat put in , and was quoted a price of $320.00 to get the heat going again . The next day I was told the heater was fixed , and it was not . It still was blowing cold air . I took it back in , and was told they would fix it, and once again , it was not fixed . I took it back a third time , then was told it would cost more money to get the problem fixed . They also left a part sitting in the back seat after the second attempt at fixing the problem . So after paying them to fix my Jeep , it was returned to me with the problem not being fixed . I wasted money and three trips to Addison Car Care , I will never , ever do business with them again . read more
