It has 3 inch chunks of wood mixed in that were not ground. Now that it has rained a few times the chunks of wood have come to the surface. There were sharp pieces of metal in the garden, walkways and lawn. These pieces are sharp and dangerous. We have grandchildren that often play in the yard and these pieces could cause serious injury. I approved the estimate. After 4 weeks, I called them because I hadn't heard back about scheduling the job. They indicated that due to weather it would take awhile to get to my house. I do agree that the weather was difficult, and I understand the delay in scheduling the work. But when they finally came to complete the agreed-on gutter cleaning, the office called me to say that the job would cost about double what I was previously quoted. I did not interact with the service team that would do the work at my house. They did not come to my door. The office apologized for the misunderstanding about the price. It seems to me that there is something wrong in their estimating process if it takes 2 months to follow-up on an estimate and then they change their price at last minute. I did not use their service, so I can't comment on whether they can do a good job or not. But doubling the price at last minute (after they had 2 months to come out and change it earlier in this process) did leave me feeling like I didn't want to work with them. I was told by their office that they create estimates based on satellite image photos. When I spoke to the first person on the phone, she said that I have a lot of trees. I agreed. And I was fine with a reasonable price to clean the gutters. But then on the day I wrote this review, I was told that my house is bigger than described. I never described it. They looked at satellite images and came up with the price based on that. So at this point, I'm not sure where the breakdown in communication occurred but I feel letdown by the process. And there was no fixing it because from my point of view, they just changed their price when they got here and my option was to pay double or not get the job done, so I did not have the job done. I wish things had gone differently. I hope my experience is a one-off, but I do want to share that the estimating process feels confusing and disorganized from what it could be.

Before any work began, we cancelled in writing on May 11 and May 12, 2026, and specifically told him not to place orders, make purchases, apply for permits, schedule work, or perform work. No work was performed at our property. Since then, we have repeatedly asked for the deposit back. Trevor repeatedly promised updates, a check, Zelle payment, or bank/account arrangements, including saying a check would be dropped off June 2 and later saying payment would be ready June 17. As of July 7, 2026, he has not returned any of the $7,000. I have the quote, deposit receipts, bank/Zelle proof, text messages, and call logs documenting this. I also filed a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, which confirmed that my complaint is under review. I am sharing this so other homeowners are careful before paying a large deposit.
