Unfortunately, I called weeks ago several times to ask about cutting down those same trees and got a call back today, three weeks later! The person calling was rude and disrespectful. I was attempting to voice my concerns about the foundation issues when cutting down a tree very close to the house. She spoke harshly stating, " I'm going to hang up because you want let me speak!" I apologized stating I was just trying to explain what I needed and why. She hung up in my face! I called other companies today and they were outstanding. Haley with Davy Trees was so nice and helpful. She listen to my concerns and worked with me and so did Jeff's Tree Service. Both were PROS! Arbor M.D. just didn't measure up on both occasions dealing with them! I will NEVER use them!

If I were picky, I'd have 2 gripes: * Firewood is ~19" long (My wood burning stove is 18" inside -so I had to cut some or insert diagonally -not ideal). * Their office is open for firewood pickup only M-F until 04:00pm & they tell me that they no longer deliver. Second quote was a professional company that markets either by the Val-park or monthly coupon magazine (can't remember which) and their guy said the tree was just too big and needed to come down. They offered a price for trimming and haul away, but it was $1000 more than woodland. The comparably higher price and convincing story about cutting the tree down caused me to pause and have a follow up call with JD. He was pretty patient walking through his logic which started with, "it's a healthy tree with zero evidence of infestation of rot". He then explained how there was a need for a lot of 'cleaning out' of the canopy where main branches grew secondary limbs that had more growth and then dozens of smaller branches. "Air can't flow through, and that's what we'll do". The quote was well done, they arrived on time when promised, and cleaned up very well.

I found Lopez landscaping on Yelp and gave them a call. They came out and gave me an estimate that was comparable to another estimate I had done a few days earlier. Based on the pictures I saw on Yelp of their work and the conversations we had about what I wanted done, I decided to go with them. I could not be happier with the job they did. Jose and his team dug up and removed all of the dead and damaged shrubs and bushes and then cleaned the flower beds and planted new azaleas, hostas, pencil shrubs and other plants. They then mulched all of the beds and cleaned the area. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results. Anytime you find someone who does a good job at a fair price you continue to use them and recommend them. I highly recommend Lopez Landscaping and will definitely use their services in the future!!

Since then, I've had them come out on two occasions. the first was to repair a tree hit and they overcharged and now I am wondering if the work was really ever done. On my last issue, a warranty claim on their roof install, they have lied to me and lied to the shingle company. Their inspector noted that the flashing around the chimney (due to a caulking failure) is leaking and caused drywall and crown moulding damage. The report they gave to the shingle maker for the warranty claim blamed the brick and mortar of the chimney, causing my claim to be closed. My chimney is not leaking and their inspector noted that. They then lied to me when I questioned them stating that the shingle company considered flashing around a chimney to be part of the chimney. The truth Is that they reported the brick and mortar being the issue, not the flashing. I, thankfully, was able to re open the claim because another roofing company verified that the issue was due to the flashing installed by excellent roofing. Excellent has not acted trustworthy with me.

told these people for 2 years they weren't putting enough fertilizer on my back yard. front yard…read morewhere they put their advertising sign looked good. texted them numerous times but still could count the fertilizer pellets coming out of the spreader on my back yard. they wanted a soil test so paid them $50.00 for that and then they wanted to aireate my lawn and paid them to do that but no improvement. sent pictures to verify what I was telling them to no avail. fired them and hired weed man and after 1st application 2 weeks later my back yard looked amazing. I heard by someone else that he thought maybe the guy putting the fertilizer down was selling what he didn't use on the side. I believe that because he sure didn't use it on my yard. when I called to fire them they said I need to aireate it for a couple more years. no it just needed fertilizer like I had been telling them the past 2 years and weed man after 1 treatment proved that!!! I text the technician with an update on my lawn being burned and he proceeded to argue with me several times. I eventually called the home office and talk to the co-owner and FIRED them immediately.
