I was especially impressed on the most recent project that included mounting of a digital photo frame. Carlos simply "wasn't having it" to mount the frame with the electrical cord showing! He expertly drilled holes and snaked the cord through the inside of the wall and back out just above the electrical outlet for an amazingly clean look. He had the finishing caps to cover the entry and exit holes too. Carlos and the crew also took a very personal interest in mounting my career memorabilia (22 plaques and awards!) beautifully in my home office. And they are undaunted by "oddball" stuff like mounting clips for a tapestry in my media room to cover unsightly electrical panels. Their excellence starts with the manager Marc who gathers a LOT of information from you (pictures, model numbers, installation videos, etc.) so that the crew arrives fully prepared. This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.

I didn't even ask. They're quite speedy. With time to spare after hanging the painting, they helped me out with a handful of smaller framed photos and two big curtain rods. And when the curtain rods broke -- because they were pretty cheap and the threading on the screws had been stripped -- they MacGyver-ed it back together simply using a piece of string I would definitely hire them again.

They said they were not told to bring a ladder. As a customer, I wouldn't think of that. I did think the picture could be hung and I offered for them to use my step ladder but I guess they felt it wouldn't work so I have to hang some of the pictures myself. But, otherwise, everything else that they did was great. I'm not sure if the price was fair because Any Assembly was the only quote I received for the work. I sent inquiries to 2 other places. I still haven't heard back from those 2 other places. I'm happy with the work that was done. Any Assembly sent 2 technicians and they put together 2 loft workstation bunk beds, hung up 4 wall lamps from IKEA and hung about 10 pictures. They worked from about 2:30p (arrived promptly on time) and ended at 7p. $400 for very fast, professional service. At some point, the technicians were even asking if there was anything else I might need. I didn't feel like they were rushing or trying to hurry to leave. And the technician even fixed my broken drawer when he saw it was broken, free of charge. I would definitely contact Any Assembly again and recommend them to a friend. I'm glad to have found a company that can do what they do. It definitely leaves me with more options when I buy things for my home.
