I found MasterCare on Yelp and requested a quote, heard back within an hour or so. Hired them the next day as they were the most competitively priced IMO. Linda was very kind over the phone and worked with my schedule to get me a cleaning at the time I needed. I scheduled a move out cleaning. On the day of, the team showed up 15 minutes early to set everything up (all their cleaning supplies and appliances). It took them ~2 hours to do a full move-out clean (appliances, blinds, ceiling fan, etc etc). When I returned to pick up the key, I was really pleased with the work they had done. The place was super clean and honestly it's ready for a new tenant to move in right now. I have no regrets hiring this company and I think they did a great job. I've had my apartment cleaned a few times prior using a different company. However, this was by far the best job I've seen. There were 3 ladies who came & started cleaning immediately. They worked tirelessly and cleaned for the full hour. My bathroom, bedroom & living room were the cleanest it's ever been when they left. I was even asked to check every room to make sure there was nothing they missed. All the shelves dusted, the carpet vacuumed, and they even removed some stains that had been on the wall. My first experience with Master care was last night. My girlfriend has been away for the past 3 months working outside of the country and me, a 26 year old that hasn't truly mastered (or gotten to an intermediate stage of understanding) organization and cleaning, had gone into full panic mode. In comes Linda, who I called 2 nights ago around 445pm in desperation as my better half returns in a week. I was panicked, and Linda was reassuring about their team. She worked with me to find a time, the next day in fact, to get the work done. I live in a small townhouse style apartment with 2 cats and, as I prefaced before, an inability to clean properly. Needless to say the apartment was in shambles. I booked an hour and figured, "they'll get done what they can and I can handle the rest". Nope! They came punctually at 815am in a group of 4 and when i stopped by to this afternoon to pick up a few things the place was SPOTLESS. No cat hair, no clutter, no "girlfriend is going to leave me for leaving these dishes here for so long" panic. Everything was organized far better than I could have ever done and I smiled as I walked around, now understanding why I was yelled at as a child to clean up... It felt great to be in a clean home! I chose to use this company because of the Yelps I read. Well, they were right. Great customer service and Great job cleaning the house. I had to call and move my cleaning day a couple of times and it was no problem. Linda took care of everything and sent me the cost to do the whole house including windows. Well, it ended up taking longer than we had thought but she still charged me the same amount. Four cleaners showed up at my house and did top to bottom, oven and fridge. It was nice to have a clean house after a summer of kickin back not cleaning it myself. I will for sure use Master Care again. read more

Working with a legitimate housekeeping service (licensed, bonded and insured) is the best peace of mind one can have when inviting people to maintain your home. The staff from Master Care do a wonderful job of detailing our home and meeting random requests along they way. They are extremely thorough and even take the time to place all of the items on every shelf in our home how they were found. My wife and I work long hours during the week. TL;DR: If you're willing to pay for their full price and don't have specific conditions, you'll likely be quite happy. If you want to customize the service, you probably want to look elsewhere. We used their services 5 times: 1) Move out cleaning: They did a great job. I never saw it, but my husband and the landlord were very happy. Only bump in the road was that I had asked for only the upstairs to be carpet cleaned, but Linda accidentally told the carpet cleaner to skip the downstairs; the difference was the staircase. I ended up paying an extra ~$30 for a service I hadn't requested, but it wasn't a huge amount and worked out okay, so I went with it. 2) Regular "white glove" service: It took the 3 staff members about an hour and a half to clean our new place. They did a very good job. A couple minor things like light switches were skipped, but overall we felt that the cleaning job they did was better than when we moved in. 3) 1-hour "white glove" service: The price was a little steep for us to keep on a monthly basis and service offering says they will do custom services, so I asked if we could pay for only one hour; Linda said yes. The first time they did a pretty good job. Not as thorough as the previous time, but that was expected since I was paying for 1 hour instead of 1.5 hours. This was the best 1-hour cleaning we got. It was a little annoying that we had gone over what we wanted in email and the cleaning staff seemed to have no knowledge of it, but that wasn't a big deal. I communicated in-person that bathrooms were the top priority as well as what we had communicated over email. The second time there were more issues. I had to reach out to find out when they were coming despite the fact that this was supposed to be a recurring service. Despite the fact that I emphasized even more that the bathrooms were the top priority, the bathrooms had noticeable issues, which I sent pictures of to Linda. In those emails, I don't know how I could have been more clear that the bathrooms were the top priority, and that other things should be skipped to make sure they were good; I was told this would be added to my file. The third time I took 11 photos of issues in the bathrooms and a few in the kitchen. The bathroom floor wasn't clean, but the living room carpet was. I had again reiterated in-person that the bathrooms were the top priority and I wanted them "very clean" and I had explicitly asked them not to clean any of the bedrooms to help make that clear. The master bathroom looked like it hadn't gotten much work at all (which is extra frustrating when you have seen their good work). An ant trap that had been on the floor in the kitchen was left on the kitchen counter, meaning we had to re-clean the counter with soap and water. While perhaps my expectations just aren't realistic, I feel like my feedback was not acted on despite it being encouraged. I think I could have done a better job cleaning with 3 hours (3 people x 1 hour), and I am no professional. Linda did offer for the lead cleaner to come back and see the issues and fix them, but I had a busy day and since I am only paying for 1 hour I felt kind of awkward about that even though they hadn't done what I had asked. At this point it just seemed like communication wasn't effective, and it was time to move on. read more

I recently used MasterCare for a move out clean from a rental with a very picky landlord. They were very accommodating with the scheduling due to rain. My landlord was concerned about mud getting tracked into the house and insisted on postponing the cleaners twice! Used to be wonderful - used them for years, but the last two times they came out for deep cleans the work was of poor quality and they even damaged every window screen we had. They pulled out every spring tab when cleaning the windows and just left them on the floor. No longer detail oriented - skipped entire items on the list (like the oven) and the bathroom and kitchen were barely touched. It's too bad, but they aren't good anymore. Just to clarify - I did call and let them know and they came back to revisit, but the workers clearly had a bad attitude about coming back (I'm guessing they got in trouble) and still did not complete the tasks that they skipped the first time (like the oven) and didn't clean up to their past standard. I wasn't about to call them out a third time. I just called a new cleaning company and they did it right the first time.
