Quick prompt tow truck came in less then 40 minutes , was careful with putting car on tow and took us to a 24/7 tire shop that he personally uses .Tow rate was reasonable and spoke to the tire shop guy on our behalf . This past Saturday night/early Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I called the company to tow the car from Randall's Island to Brooklyn. Cheap Towing provided the quote of $450 and would be coming from Queens within 30 minutes. We initially thought it was expensive, but we wanted to go and accepted the quote. After the 30 minutes, we called to inquire about the ETA and the representative stated the driver was 7 minutes away. Cheap Towing stated in order to proceed with the service, my boyfriend and I needed to pay the initial $60 via Zelle for the tolls. Cheap Towing would not come unless they receive the initial installment. Therefore, the total cost would be $510. We questioned the process, highlighting these terms were not discussed earlier and that the company informed us about the initial installment only when we called to check on the status. The representative stated that the tow was waiting for the initial installment and we inquired, "The driver is waiting over the bridge until we pay the money? When were you going to contact us?! We had to call you." The representative rudely hung up the phone and ceased communication. If it was up to Cheap Towing, we would still be stranded because we have the sense to not prematurely pay via Zelle. Never using this service!!!

He gave me a price of $150 a wheel!!Which is absurd. That's $300. I can buy all four tires for under $280. I went over to my guys at ETD in Hackensack and payed $84 before tax. That's mounted and balanced. I get you have to pay for the convenience of him coming to you and to make a dollar but taking advantage is a whole different story.

My brother was looking for a flatbed towing truck because one of them wasn't running anymore. I reached out to a few people for any recommendations. Phew, I am so grateful that Nelson, a friend of a friend hit me up last Friday and recommended Pappu Towing. This afternoon, Shawn from Pappu Towing came a few minutes before 4:00 pm. I pointed out to him which humvee wasn't running. He positioned his tow truck in front of the humvee so he can hook it up and pull it onto the flatbed. My brother's transporting truck arrived to pick up the humvees. Shawn drove his tow truck near the park where there was more room for the transporting truck to extract my brother's humvees. It was a successful process and I was pleased. Great job, Shawn and I highly recommend Pappu Towing!
