I worked with David Burnette on the siding and he also stepped in on the gutters and siding. I was really impressed with David's follow up and his ability to work with the insurance company to make sure that everything was covered as it should have been. David also had a Project Manager backing him on the job, Clayton Vickery, who did a great job as well. He and David worked flawlessly as a team and made absolutely sure that everything was done not only to my satisfaction, but to their's as well! They found some things that I had missed, and I'm pretty darned particular! I would work with David and Clayton again in a heartbeat! These guys are beyond good, they're fantastic! Nice to see commitment like that!

They lie about there being a construction manager on scene for all jobs, there are only workers who are not certified in roofing on your roof and for whom you will not be able to communicate with if there is a problem. During my roofing job they ended up cutting the valley out of one of my dormers with a Sawzall and roofed right over it. Had I not known anything about roofing and/or went into my attic and saw it, it would have leaked/failed for sure or someone could have simply fell right through the roof. They also cracked my brand new $15K driveway upon delivering the shingles, and had promised they would take all kinds of precautions to avoid doing so but didn't. I spoke with ABC roofing, the company who delivered the shingles, who confirmed they were never told not to drive a fully loaded delivery truck on the new driveway, which was promised by the Brandon J. Roofing salesman. Later the salesman admitted they failed to make notes on the delivery order to prevent the delivery truck from damaging the drive. The salesman and his supervisor admitted they were wrong in not telling ABC and would work to get the driveway fixed for me, but that never happened ($5000 dollars in damage). They advertise having a fifteen year workmanship warranty on their work, but I called them within 15 days of the completion to complain about my damage and it was a to say the least a fight to get them to repair some of the damage they did. The construction manager I ended up talking to simply wanted to brace the damage, which wouldn't have passed future inspections. When the repair team showed up they pushed to simply brace the damage as well, telling me they weren't qualified to rebuild the dormer and valley, but I insisted and told them I'd rebuild the dormer and they could come back the next day to roof it. Ultimately they were able to replace the damaged valley without tearing off the complete dormer. Had I been elderly or not up to speed on IRC building codes they would have left the damage to fail later. What's sad is the action of cutting the middle of a valley out with a sawzall is something that a person with 1 week of roofing experience would have known not to do, let alone a multi million dollar roofing company like Brandon J. Had they had a construction manager on site as they advertise maybe this wouldn't have happened. During my fight to get the roof repaired one manager I spoke with laughed at me when I asked him if he'd be alright with me cutting the valley out of his homes dormers and then telling him I'll just throw some braced under it, which should take care of it. He knew the suggestion of braces was wrong and a joke himself, but he was going to do it if I let him. They are a terrible company and will lie to get your business and then use non certified general labors, who have no supervision, do not speak English, and have little to no real construction skills, which all means trouble for the customer. If you use them and get took you were at least warned. I have nothing to gain from leaving this review and have never left such a review. It's only because it's true that I do so, so please take it serious. I wish I would have had someone tell me about their experiences with Brand J before I went with them. I had two neighbors use them to during the same hail storm in the spring of 2026 and they both had troubles as well, and there were no construction managers present at their sites during their re-roofs either, just a group of manual labors who have no real construction training or knowledge. The pictures are of the cracked driveway and the valley from the underside showing where they simply cut down the center of the valley with a sawsall and left it to fail, which is simply unbelievable. Also to the Brandon J representative who I see replying to all these negative reviews, please don't further insult me by saying your sorry, because your not. If you were sorry you'd simply repair the property your responsible for damaging no questions asked. We both know you don't do that or I wouldn't be leaving this review, so save your self serving apology it's not genuine.

The owner whom I met while walking the block responded to my request for bid immediately and all follow up was quick, thorough, transparent and personal. He responded that very day. They communicated by text, email and phone and I could choose what worked best for me in any given exchange. It is so easy to get business done when a company uses all the tech available to them to reach their clients. I work full time and do not have the time to deal with any Mickey-Mouse operation who doesn't text or use other forms of communication, or takes forever to respond in 2024. 2. They are local, so I trusted them more. I was worried about shady contractors, so I liked that they had a local business address and staff who answer a phone, email paperwork etc. They also worked within what my insurance budget. Everything from the bid to the bill was above board, not shady! 3. The crew were the most hardworking I have ever seen. And, it was so hot that week! ‍They cleaned up after each session and were professional, polite and most of all very kind people. They kept their work contained in my yard and parked properly near my house in the street. They didn't encroach upon the neighbors' property. I received no calls or complaints. They kept all their equipment in order and they were not in our way. They parked their own dumpster to toss the old roof, and someone even came quietly after dark to retrieve it. There was no evidence of their trash, not a speck - impressive! 4. When it came time for me to pay, they offered to pick up the check personally because I was worried about mailing it. What service!!! I am a big fan! I highly recommend this company because they are easy to do business with and their builders are upstanding people. CALL THEM FOR A ROOF!!!

Now that it's been a couple months, I wanted to share my experience working with the company. Throughout the project, I found the sales rep, office staff, and management to be courteous, professional, and generally responsive. When I reported concerns, Stonebridge agreed to fix the issues and worked through many of the problems I identified. Unfortunately, the installation side of the project was much more challenging. The biggest issues in my experience were with workmanship and quality control. Although Stonebridge has quality control people, it often seemed that completed work was not thoroughly inspected before crews left the job site. Instead, many issues were discovered only after I identified them and brought them to Stonebridge. Some examples of the issues I discovered included: - Step flashing had not been installed in one area where the roof meets a wall; wood was exposed. - A bathroom exhaust vent opening was completely covered over with siding. - Exterior light fixture mounting blocks and trim pieces were either installed crooked, not fully seated, or missing altogether. - Loose, bulging, and damaged siding in multiple areas. - Exposed nails through flashing, and bent drip edge. - Multiple areas where the roofing, siding, flashing, fascia, or trim installation required correction or replacement due to poor workmanship. These examples represent only a portion of a multi-page punch list I was asked to create by Stonebridge to document the issues. Another recurring challenge was communication between sales/project management and the onsite crews. I often discussed specific install details or repair issues with sales or office personnel, but many times that information was not communicated to the crews performing the work. Installers would arrive without a clear understanding of previous discussions, requiring the same issues to be explained multiple times. An additional challenge was the language barrier with the non-English speaking onsite crews. By itself, this would not have been a concern if there had been stronger supervision and communication from Stonebridge project management. However, when questions arose about workmanship or repairs, it was very difficult to communicate directly with the installers. My goal with this review is to provide an honest account of my experience so prospective customers know what they may encounter. If you choose Stonebridge, my advice is to stay actively involved throughout your project, inspect the workmanship carefully, ask questions, and don't assume completed work has already been reviewed or inspected. In my experience, Stonebridge was willing to respond after problems were identified, but much of the responsibility for finding those problems fell on me, the homeowner. This ultimately broke down my confidence in the quality of Stonebridge's workmanship.

Extreme Caution! Owner Isaac Ovchinikov has defrauded me of my $22,982 down payment with no product…read moreordered and no work completed since signing a contract in March 2025. Isaac, the business owner sat with me at my kitchen table, looked me in eye as we set my purchase order and contract, then cashed my check down payment check, and never attempted to complete any work on my project or communicate a project timeline. Below is my official complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which was filed on October 1, 2025 with no response from Mr. Ovchinikov. Mr. Ovchinikov has not responded to any of my many attempts to contact him by telephone, text, or email since August 2025. At this time, I can only conclude that he has stolen my money, and I am pursuing legal action. I will also be reporting him to the State of Missouri Attorney General's office. There are multiple open lawsuits against Shield Siding and Mr. Ovchinikov on casenet, and I believe that I have been defrauded by a professional swindler. Do not trust this business or this owner. Better Business Bureau official complaint, October 1, 2025: "I signed an individual contract with Shield Siding on March 28, 2025 to have my windows and back door replaced. Per the business owner, Isaac Ovchinikov, this work was anticipated to occur in June-July 2025. My purchase price was $32,832, and I paid a 70% down payment via check for $22,982 at time of signing. This check was cashed on March 31, 2025. My home owner's association (HOA) also signed a contract around the same time to replace the siding on the units in our buildings. This work was also anticipated to be completed in June-July 2025. As of October 1, 2025 (today) no work has started on the siding project, or my individual windows project. I recently learned from other HOA members who have contacted the window supplier directly (Enerlux Windows, a different company from Shield Siding), that no window purchase orders have been placed by Shield Siding for my project, despite this company having cashed my 70% down payment six months ago. I have attempted to contact Isaac Ovchinikov over 10 times in the last month by email, text, and phone call, all without response. My last communication with him was via text on August 13, 2025, when he reported that my project delays were due to his company getting behind in production on a different project. There was no mention of un-attempted supply purchasing for my order at this time. I am seeking a cancellation of my contract and refund of my 70% down payment, as there have been no goods or services provided, and no meaningful communication in the six months since I signed my contract about if or when I can expect to have this work completed."
