Both my daughter and son have been attending Masters Self Defense for over 10 years. Sensei Kevin is the best Karate teacher ever. We owe so much to him as he has taught our children so many life skills, helped immensely to improve concentration problems, self confidence, respect and discipline. He has a natural ability to achieve this but still make learning fun. Sensei Kevin and his staff offer group and individual classes for children,teens and adults. If you are looking for a way to stay fit, build self defense,self confidence,concentration and focus skills this is the place to go. read more

We got to talking, and I expressed my concern that I would be the odd "man" out in a martial arts school where everyone else was stronger, fitter, faster, and, well, male. Andrea invited me to her school to join in on a class and see that there were women--a plurality of men, women, and children--who practiced together. Everyone in the class was warm and welcoming. The folks I trained with made me feel like I had been coming there for years rather than having just stepped nervously across the threshold.

Typically I don't stay for the whole class, I drop her off and come back to watch the tug of war competition, or her final skills evaluation and am always impressed by how much she attained! This is a great place for kids to learn not only how to defend themselves but to build self confidence and control. Not to mention make friends, because all the kids have been very nice and friendly to my daughter. I highly recommend : )

I'm a disabled veteran and have certain accommodations that I'm learning how to ask for. I was worried it wasn't for me. But they reassured me I belong there and can benefit greatly. Taking the time to listen to someone is rare these days. But it's the difference between someone being just a data point vs a person for a company. Exceptional customer service is an art form. The best make it look effortless. They made a difficult situation disappear over a simple conversation. Kudos!

I was constantly met with strict rules and policy. Also, some of the classes cost additional $ on top of the very expensive membership. In my opinion, there is no benefit to being a member. I would not recommend the Weymouth Club. Although, I did have a good experience with Bay State Physical Therapy.

Beautiful, well maintained trails that are easy to get to from Boston. Climbing to the top of the…read moreskyline trail requires a bit of scrambling up rocks. However, they do have a nice set of trails by the reservoir/ ski area of the park that has little elevation and some of the best foliage in the fall. Parking can be a bit tricky on that side when it is busy though. I don't like the trails over by the pond and skating rink as much as I do the other side. It can get a bit muddy and buggy over there and the pond views are meh. Parking is shared by the ice rink and there is plenty of it.
