This man is amazing. I honestly believe I am here to-day, 10 years later, due to his caring, dedicated and truthful manner .

Just recently he informed me that my mom's light protein count had dropped from 297 to 30. His diagnosis and curative program were spot on and my 90 year old mom literally has a new lease on life. My mom has assoted health issues and Dr Ashouri consults regularly with her specialists to to insure her overall proper care. He is a consummate professional with old school " bedside manner" that has effectively prolonged a quality life for my mom. The journey continues for my mom and I'm extremely fortunate to have Dr Ashouri guiding her way.

Dr. Ashouri came to see me every day at the hospital (even though I wasn't his patient). He figured out what was wrong with me and found a better course of chemo treatments for me. Needless to say, as soon as I left the hospital I switched oncologists and never looked back. His bedside manner can't be matched, and his sense of humor always lightens the mood. The staff at his office and his nurses are always kind and helpful. Dr. Ashouri was there for me when I needed him, and I look forward to my appointments. I can't tell you battling cancer is fun, but having a great oncologist makes the fight easier.

From the moment I interacted with her, she was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic professionalism. When I asked a simple question, she actually called it "stupid" to my face -- something I never imagined hearing in a medical setting. At the time, I was under an incredible amount of stress, as my grandfather was battling cancer and in a very fragile condition. Unfortunately, due to what I believe was careless negligence on the part of the office -- including not properly reviewing his records -- his condition became severely worse. This is inexcusable, especially for a medical office where patient care should be the top priority. To make matters worse, after this critical situation arose, my repeated calls and voicemails went unanswered. There was no urgency, no follow-up, and no compassion shown. Lydia's attitude and the office's overall lack of responsibility made an already heartbreaking situation even more traumatic. I hope the management seriously evaluates how they handle both patient records and staff behavior, because no family should have to go through what we did. I will say that there was an elder Asian lady who was a nurse that made the experience with her kindness a bit better for us. She was very caring with her patients.

If you are a center for cancer patients then compassion has to be baked into your system. Well an interaction with this office is truly stressful to say the least!
