The latest project, in preparation to sell our house within the next year, involved removing wallpaper; a lot of patching from old leaks, stains, damages, and nail holes; repainting many "colorful" rooms; and, most importantly, repainting all our built-in kitchen and family room cabinets and drawer fronts. This was time consuming, meticulous and very detailed work, especially since the original paint finish was lacquer (much more difficult to paint over). We remained in the house during this 2 week process which I'm sure would have been easier for him if we'd vacated the space. He and his crew did an amazing job on every level. They worked as quickly as possible without compromising quality, they protected all interior cabinet contents from dust and paint drips, they made access to certain areas relatively convenient (microwave, sink, fridge, etc.). They even worked on Saturdays, began at 7am on some mornings and also on the morning of July 4 so they we could get our kitchen back sooner rather than later. They cleaned as much as they could and put all their gear and supplies neatly out of our way at the end of each day. Carlos is very diligent about communicating so we're all on the same page about colors, finishes, schedules, etc., so there were no surprises or re-do's! They were also very tolerant of our dogs - the little one who thinks he's a tough guy and had to let them know it every morning, and the sweet one who sat and stared at them relentlessly as they tried to eat their lunch in peace! They even let the dogs in and outside if I wasn't home. Please consider hiring Carlos for your next painting project, large or small. He is honest, hard-working and produces high quality results. Bob, the owner, was very responsive and shifted his schedule around to accommodate our request. He and and his crew started work in our unit just two days later. Bob and his painters are all professionals. They know exactly what they have to do and they just get to work and get the job done. They even came on a Saturday, which is not something that we expected they would do.
