Which is pretty obscene. I've done a lot of work in past so it's pretty high up there. Would've given zero stars if I could, but one star would only be for the gentleman who showed up (and just works for the company and doing his job) was very nice and personable and also seemed knowledgeable. And I'm sure he is not the one making this huge upcharges in work. But overall I wouldn't recommend and also felt it was weird and sneaky to charge me after the estimate 80 dollars to come to my house to talk about the job. The company should be paying their workers for their time, or have them disclose and ask for the payment when they arrive so I could have the opportunity to decline. So for that alone it reflects as dishonest.

The interaction was extremely profession during the process and he was able to start in a short period of time. Once he started, the work was uninterrupted and when issues were found that needed more work, he had a conversation with me first and gave me options. Then the cost of the additional repairs that were absolutely necessary, were extremely reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and the deck looks GREAT. Brian and his employee was very responsible to keep me informed about every step of the process and the cleanup afterwards. So a few months ago we decided to address the whole house. The outside needed a lot of prep (a 100-year-old center hall colonial home in Queens which we've lived in for 48 years.) The wood needed cracks filled, scraping, caulking - hours of attention. The inside hadn't been painted in 20 years at least. The living room required 3 skim coats of plaster, the kitchen had damage from a leak, the bathrooms needed some ceiling replacement from another leak - just to show the extent of what they were facing. Today, they finished! They went so far beyond just painting to include replacing hinges, repairing old porch casement windows, - everything they touched became so much better. This was a huge job, lasting over 2 months, and we can't say enough about how professional, fastidious, and careful they were in their attention to quality. The team of guys clearly liked and respected each other - a key factor to good work, and the business owner Fredi Borjas is gentleman, and a delight to work with. He sets the tone for how his team works. We enjoyed them all very much. This was a big job, fairly priced, and done to perfection.
