Dispatch has the drivers running around in circles, trying to get them to pick up everyone at once even if the car is already full. Late to appointments. Not good service at all. One time I called newport and they said the car will arrive in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later there was no car so I called again. Dispatch said that a car to pick me up had not even been located yet. The car finally came after an hour of waiting in the cold. This is just one story. I do not recommend. Also, most of the drivers I've dealt with are ok. It's not so much the drivers (some of them are rude and are no good) the real problem is dispatch and the car company. They make the drivers pick up as many people as they can and run around in circles and make people late like I said above. Most of the drivers are ok I am not placing the blame on them, the problem is the company.

After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response. I hired a superior, licensed, insured and incredibly professional competitor. Price was certainly not the only deciding factor. Mid Island VIP Car Service offers a Lincoln Town Car from home to Penn station. The car arrived on…read moretime and our chauffeur was courteous and helpful. I was unable to carry our bigger luggage because of a recent rib injury but our driver readily got them from our home to the car then from the car to the station curb. The Lincoln Town Car was the older sleek style with that superb suspension that makes that car smooth; great for me as my injuries make any jolts painful. The car was very clean and quiet and had fully functional seat belts; not always found in some car services and not to be taken for granted. When we took a cruise earlier this year, we drove our car to Bayonne Harbor. The cost of parking for a week was not a real bargain vs the round trip limo. Lesson learned. At our relative ages, it's not so unwise to spend a few extra dollars and have less to worry over. Mid Island Car Service will be there waiting for us on our return home.

My mother then called and the same woman argued with her about being rude to my sister. You need to hire better people to answer your phones. I am disgusted, disappointed and will never use this car service again. We found a better one with kind people answering the phone. I now use Dial 7 and Uber for all my rides. Why even bother with Mid Island if you can avoid it.

Finally after several attempts an operator came on the line. I inquired about the reservation and why the car didn't wait. He said we have no cars right now, we are not even opened. So I asked why he was answering the phone if they weren't opened, and he hanged up on me. I called back later on that day and (it might have been the same operator) he told me that they weren't accepting reservations made through the automated service to which I calmly replied you should turn it off then, because it won't let you speak to an individual. He slammed the phone down again. I always used them whenever I traveled or any time I needed a ride anywhere. I guess I won't be using them any more.
