Prior to hiring Cannon Disability Law I had been denied 2x or 3 and was currently living in the worse possible scenario you could imagine. No family to assist me or that cared about my RA, severe rheumatoid arthritis and homeless living in an apartment complexes garage, possibly looking at my last days because I seen no way out if where I was. From the time I became sick with RA I have had everyone I called friend or family shew me away and even heard my own mother tell me she'd never take care of me and that disability makes me a lesser man, that my child will live a poorer quality of life, that a real man works until he dies no matter what illness. I was losing hope in a lot of areas and upon speaking to the team at Cannon Disability is when I began to grow a confidence that perhaps there would be a chance. A chance to get some sort of assistance that some sorta light might shine on all this hardship I'd been facing ALL BECAUSE A I just became sick. They treated the cases as routine and didn't talk to the client before court. Gave the impression how the plea and abeyance would take into an account certain circumstances which is not how it worked. The client would have been served just as well by a public defender. I also believe that because they didn't file paperwork on time there was a warrant for arrest in play until it was done. Very disappointed in the level of service. Most people who need an attorney don't know how legal system works and therefore need a little more guidance to the process. We did not get this.

I hired her thinking she was a high powered attorney that would get the job done, but in the end all she ended up being for me was a high priced attorney who cared more about getting paid than protecting my best interests. With only an 18 month marriage and a full pre-nup in place I should have had a slam dunk case, but Emily consistently dropped the ball and got caught off guard by my ex-wife's pro-bono freshman lawyer's antics and it cost me dearly. Emily's response to me everytime I'd get screwed was "well it could be worse" and she'd quote some other case she was working on that was a lot costlier.
