Every year when visiting Chelan I make it a point to go into this store…read more The store is located on the main downtown street of Chelan. There is plenty of street parking. It's a small store but I always manage to find something to buy. They sell not only quilting cottons and flannel but notions, patterns, interfacing, their samples and some other things. The staff is very nice. They don't have a website but do have a Facebook account in which they will post store closings and changes to store hours.

She is not very knowledgeable, but since I have a pretty set list of things to get, it was fine. The second time I went in for Shoulder pads and buttons, I encountered the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Moses Lake. (out side of Wal Mart, which no one was there to give any service) . The lady was not helpful, rude, and seemed like a bother for her to check to see to walk 5 steps behind the counter to check their inventory. For that reason and more, I will never go back to this shop again! I don't care if i have to rip the shoulder pads out of my old jacket. This was just uncalled for.... Next time when I need findings, I would drive a hour to another town to get then rather than coming here.

One of them weren't sure about something I was asking about so she pulled it up on the Internet and helped me. They all made me laugh and were very nice to me and the others in the store. I would go back again for everything. Forgot to mention there's a bird in there her name is Zoey I believe she's the funniest thing when she dances! Over all I enjoyed my visit. I would tell my friends to go check them out. They would try their best to help you with your questions. Thumbs up for this store.

We visited Leavenworth for the first time, and of all the shops, this one is my favorite!…read more Lots of precious Franz items, but what I love mostly is the vast collection of Michel Works: soap bars, moisturizers, home sprays, candles, foaming hand soaps of all fragrances, aprons and kitchen towels with gorgeous floral patterns. The owners are the most friendly people I have ever met. Wish I lived closer to this shop!! ( I am from San Francisco, CA )

Certain flavors that is. I haven't been inside this shop since winter 2007/08. The gentleman behind the counter told us the story on how his wife loved this shop so much, that a few years ago, she saw the for sale sign, and told her husband that she must purchase this place. So they are the new owners. What a sweet story! He was so friendly! But the best part about this shop, is you have to go through the place to get to my favorite gourmet chocolates. Yes! I will drive over 2 hours just to get them! Sure I can order online, but what's fun about that!

I had never been to a Hobby Lobby before and was surprised how many lovely decor choices this one…read morehad. I thought it was more of a craft store but it actually has tons of home decor in themed categories like USA, Beach House, Princess, Glam, etc. The store was clean and well organized and the employees were super friendly and went out of their way to help us find things. The cashier who checked me out was very friendly. One annoying thing happened though - they did not offer any bags (unless I bought a $1.50 "reusable" bag that was ugly and too big and I'd never use again) at all. Our state recently has an enviro-friendly bag mandate where you have to buy re-usable plastic bags for 8 cents. No biggie. I had JUST been to Target and Walmart and both of those places had plenty of 8 cent bag options to wrap my merchandise (I'd spent $400 at Target and $300ish at Walmart). Hobby Lobby didn't have a single bag available to wrap a canvas art "painting" in so I could get it to my car in the rainstorm without the paint getting wet. So, I had to put the item aside and not buy it since the cashier had no idea how she would wrap it so I could get it to the car without being ruined. While I wish I had thought to bring reusable bags with me in the car, I hadn't known I was shopping that day so I hadn't planned ahead. It seems a little ridiculous that Target and Walmart can figure out how to protect purchases and Hobby Lobby hasn't figured it out yet. So, if I go there again, I'll have to plan ahead and bring my own bags or not buy big things that don't fit in bags.
