As a "Senior" I was looking for estimates on fixing a Pipe Jack Flashing…read moreon my roof. Weather Pro Exteriors quoted $575.00. Then a technician, Jack, from Infinity Exteriors got on my roof, looked at the problem and fixed it and charged me NOTHING. He was so polite and informative that I couldn't thank him and Infinity enough. If and when I have more roof problems they are they company I will be calling. Thank you, again, for your free service. AVOID INFINITY EXTERIORS AT ALL COSTS…read more They did not fulfill multiple aspects of the contract, our roof has been leaking all week just shortly after installation, and the company has failed to acknowledge or remedy this. They also chipped paint all over the exterior of the house and damaged our brand new windows. In addition, they reused extremely rusted materials despite the contract specifying they would be replaced. When told of these, the quality manager came out -- he papered over some issues, said he would get back to me on others (and didn't), and told me the area with ripped metal where water was getting in was "fine" (that night, we had even more water coming in). Our package also included a "50 point inspection" afterwards to ensure everything was installed properly. Not only did this not happen, but when the Quality Manager came out in response to my complaints he admitted multiple things were missed on initial installation. These were only caught by me having to go up on my roof and check, instead of the 50 point inspection. I am more than happy to update this review should the company decide to fulfill the contract and fix the failing roof. For now, I am forced to spend my time and energy calling, consulting lawyers, and contacting NARI.

I made that very clear to the scheduler. The scheduler confirmed that that could be done. I subsequently received an email confirming the appointment. I replied, repeating my insistence that I simply wanted the repair made in a single visit without a separate visit from an estimator. Sure enough, an estimator arrived 20 minutes late without any equipment. He was downright rude when I complained, saying "no one does business that way." I told him that Guardian was put on notice at least twice that I was not interested in a two step process. I would not have bothered taking time off from work had they simply told me they required a two step process. At my request, the manager called me, and I explained the situation. She was pleasant on the phone and said that she would she she could find someone in the organization to address the issue. I forwarded the earlier email for her records. She promptly acknowledged receipt. That was all two weeks ago. I never heard from her again. She did not respond to three follow-up emails of increasing urgency. The repair still have not been made, and I am back to square one. I DID receive a robotext asking me to rate my experience. (eyeroll). Stay away from these people. They are arrogant and beyond worthless unless you have a major project, and even then you have to worry about how they respond to a problem. Dear Guardian: am sorry I am not worth your precious time. It will not happen again.

Have had a LOT of communication with Guardian over the past few years. They did a sealant on our…read moreroof, but due to the age of the roof that plan did not hold up - they did explain to us that we really should have a new roof, which we agreed with and they subsequently gave us a credit off of the original quote. Workers were very diligent and hard-working. The project managers had to deal with extra problems that were uncovered when the old roof was taken off - many layers and uneven spots, for which we did pay extra. Our problem is with the follow up. While our manager/site boss - not exactly sure what his title is -was communicative during the process and did come back to follow up with some debris that was left in the gutter, etc. we told him that our large front bush got damaged. He assured us that they have a company that they work with, and that he would have them get in touch with us. That was three months ago, and I have sent him five texts, none of which were answered. While the roof itself seems fine, the lack of follow-up communication does not bode well for potential future problems.

The experience I had with Rick Jr. with Ackman Glass and the installers from Lake Geneva Window and…read moreDoor turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. At first everything went normal, Rick Jr. came out with Bill, the lead carpenter, to take a look at what the job entailed. I had showed them both what was needed. We discussed that they would need to do more framing for the new door as it would not take up 100% of the large opening. Bill and Rick Jr. assured me that this was not an issue. Ok, everything sounded great, let's do it! Door was ordered and an install date was set for the 1st of July 2024, I had a custom 4' wide Kolbe and Kolbe entry door installed. The door was beautiful, well-built, and made in Wisconsin. As soon as the door was installed, attitudes changed. There was some damage to the door and weather stripping. They ordered the weather stripping but ignored me on the damage. All good, you have to take the good with the bad, so I moved on. Door worked as it should, except it would rub on the bottom when shutting it. The installers would come out and adjust the "adjustable hinges." Now fast forward to March 24th, 2026. I inspected the door after the winter and found the door needed weatherstripping and adjustment, because it was rubbing on the bottom. The hinges were maxed out on adjustment, so I looked deeper into why besides its size the door was sagging so much. Eventually I got to the point of pulling the trim off the inside so I can see what was going on. The pictures attached show that the door and framing were installed far from correct. None of the hinges or striker plates are screwed into anything but the door frame; this does not follow any of Kolbe and Kolbe install requirements or common building practices. This has caused the door frame to warp on the hinge side due to the lack of proper framing and six 3" screws missing that are supposed to go through the hinges and into framing of the wall. I had been locking this door at night with confidence and now I see that it could have easily been opened due to the striker plate not being secured. I sent Rick Jr. an email with pictures of the install and the weather stripping needed. I received an email stating that Bill will try and stop out Friday. The next morning, I get the run-around email of "I showed Bill the pictures of your concerns and they typically do this when there is no framing behind the hinges but is anchored under the outside weather stripping". Dismissing all of my concerns. Now what am I to do with this? The person in charge is not interested in fixing this and the people that put it in say its correct. I called Rick Jr. and spoke to him on the phone and asked him to come over and look at it. The amount of arrogance and disrespect that Rick Jr. can carry in a phone conversation is overwhelming. Bill and two younger men showed up to look at the door with attitude and confrontation written all over them. Mind you my children are home at this time. I got cussed out and disrespected in my own home, Bill being the voice of most of this. Well, the kids are within hearing distance, so I asked Bill to relax. With a loud "F$%# this!" he walked out of the house. A few more comments were made and I lost my cool outside in the driveway, this amount of disrespect to me and now my home was unacceptable. I contacted the door manufacturer and was told after emails, pictures, and phone conversations were exchanged that the door was installed incorrectly. The regional manager's advice was that I have a local contractor remove and re-install the unit. After the words said and the actions taken nobody from Ackman Glass and Mirror or Lake Geneva Window and Door are allowed back on the property. That leaves me having to fix this myself which is fine because I know it will be correct. I had to think hard about leaving this review and honestly didn't want to, but I can't be made out to be a fool or ripped off without warning others.

The turn around time was exactly as promised/expected and service great! The gentlemen that came to do the install were nothing but professional and very pleasant to work with!
