Don't fall for the scam! They're doing a monopoly-esque flyer at the moment. It appears that every game piece "wins" $5000. In reality, the "gamepiece" isn't the real gamepiece (even tho it says "MATCH=WIN" in a large white-and-red box at the top!), and there's a confirmation number on the card. That number has to match the number on thier board. If it helps someone, I think that the winning number for the $5000 when we visited on the board ended in "077". The real sick part is that if you call and ask, they'll confirm you 100% won whatever prize you want. I'm not sure who would want to spend $30,000-$50,000 on a vehicle after being lied to / manipulated in this manner. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealer as I don't believe I can trust them. We typically purchase a new vehicle every 3-4 years - and have bought Hyundai before (at Dennis Hyundai, twice). I will have to think hard before purchasing a Hyndai in the future as well - as thier name is on this scam. read more

Wasted an hour of my time and gas going in there. Should have asked them for compensation for gas.

The EPS light on my Elantra came on. It means there's a problem with the electric power steering and it needs attention. I took to their service center and I feel like they took advantage of. I wanted the repair and some 90K service like replacing the timing and other belts. I was told I needed new oil pan and a new transmission pan because they were nearly rusted through. That seemed a little strange. I never had a problem like that before and both pans? Then, they called later and said I needed a new alternator because mine put out a low voltage. Except, I read the computer before I took it in and there were no faults in the registry. I would think that a faulty alternator would cause a fault code and wasn't having any electrical problems. But they said that would cause the EPS light to come on and they didn't see any other problems. They disconnected the battery cable which reset the EPS light. Over $1700 in repairs. They charged me $10 a quart for ATF and $10 a quart for pouring it in after they changed the transmission pan. $100 just for 5 quarts of ATF. They charged me $10 for their paperwork. A couple weeks later it was raining and the EPS light comes on. They didn't fix it at all and I don't think I needed a $500 alternator. Now, my car still isn't safe to drive and I'm afraid they will just hook me again if I take it back there. They completely remodeled the dealership over the last couple of years and I feel like they are just soaking people to pay for a million dollar remodel job they didn't really need. I got a flyer that appeared to be $5k winner. I called to confirm the win and they told me to show up to claim the prize. When you arrive, you'll quickly find out that your confirmation code was different (small ambiguous print on the other side) and you only won a cheap pair of headphones. I have no idea how tactics like this are legal. It's very deceptive (they just want to sell you on a car that the Kia boys will happily steal) and possibly a violation of Ohio Rule 109:4-3-06. Went there to collect the $5,000 I apparently won. But that was not the case. Then they tried to get me to trade my car in that I just bought 6 months ago after I told them I was not interested in trading nor getting another vehicle. Then the salesman began showing me trucks after I told I was not interested but I figured I'd go along with it. They wanted $50,000 for a Tacoma that it's estimated price is $31,000. I bought my car, a 2009 Hyundai Elantra, from Mathews about three years ago. It was a good experience. I knew what I was looking for before even visiting, and they helped the car-buying process go smoothly. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about the experience, which is probably good when buying a car. That being said, it was a recent experience dealing with Mathews that left me more impressed. Recently, I broke the glass on one of my rear view mirrors by clipping it backing out of a garage. I called Mathews to get an estimate on the fix. The replacement glass would have to be custom ordered, and the old mirror was a heated mirror so I was expecting the estimate to be rather pricey. It was, at approximately $150. They told me that, and I likely would have paid it. From the little bit of research I did on it, I did not expect it to get done any cheaper than that if I took it to a dealer in Columbus. However, before I could even call them back, Mathews' service center left me another voicemail. On their own volition, they reached out to Eric's Auto Glass, and got an estimate from him. It was approximately 1/4 the cost of the Mathews estimate. Mathews told me about this, gave me Eric's phone number, and suggested I work with him since it was so much cheaper. Eric replaced the glass quickly and inexpensively, so it was an excellent recommendation from Mathews. I was very impressed that Mathews would go to that length to help me save some money, even though they could have had the business themselves. I did not even call back to thank the service center, but their efforts did not go unnoticed. The goodwill shown by Mathews makes me likely to continue my business with their dealership and service center in the future. read more

had to call several times to figure out if my car was done and yet wasn't done by the time was needed I was late to work and my brother had to drive to Marion from Delaware to get my car and drive back to Delaware to get me and nothing was refunded or anything for gas that was wasted due to the dealership not having the car done.... I dropped my car off at 9:00pm the night before and yet they couldn't get a two hour job done in a 9 hour window like what. they then proceeded to call me and tell me I would have to pay for an oil change when I was told in the first place it was free thank god the manager was willing to give it to me but what about the gas???? they couldn't offer more like who does that especially when they were informed I needed it back, this is shitty service and I will never be coming back here again I rather drive to dublin and have everything taken care of instead of coming here ugh read more

If you get a "Money Carlo" game piece from them it's a scam. After pulling the tabs it will appear that you matched three 7's and won $5,000. Don't be fooled, it's a scam to try and get you to the dealership. At best it's unethical (probably illegal). I would never purchase a vehicle from a dealership that did this kind of marketing. read more

Never going here again. The salesman, John was rude and didn't seem to know anything about the cars. He couldn't answer hardly any of the questions I had. I was hesitant about buying a car from this place after talking to him. Then he got angry when I decided not to purchase. Would not recommend this dealership unless you know EXACTLY what you want, have No questions, and like being treated like you are an idiot. Which I am not.
