I recommend Dental Works to anyone who needs their help and talent. I had to make a return visit to have my now missing tooth made into a "flipper" with a new tooth. Dr. Childers also gave me pointers. These ladies know their jobs and they are excellent at it. Best dental visit I have had since I was a child. I asked the cost. She explained $75 for X-rays & $95 for extraction. I went to my local (NC) dentist for the X-rays because it would have been charged to my insurance..turned out I paid more for my X-rays at my local dentist. Anyway I went to my 10am appointment yesterday I showed up 5 mins early (9:55am) and sat in the waiting room till 11:45am..(I will say that's the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise, nurse was great she explained everything to me and how it was gonna happen, she answered all my questions. The Dr. came in and explained his part of the surgery..he warned me I might want to take antibiotics before the extraction..I told him no, to move forward with the procedure (only cause I didn't want to come back to SC and take off more time from work.) Dr understood my reasonings and proceeded. Once surgery started it took less then 5 mins. Surprisingly it was painless. ..and the price was EXACTLY what the receptionist quoted me on the phone..no surprises $95.00 and I'm now healing nicely everything they told my could happen with the healing process helped me be prepared. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get an extraction on a budget.
