Long story short there's plenty people taking their kids out of light house school for similar reasons...all the schools I ment with said alot of kids transferred from light house and in terms that were sugarcoated they ran a very strict program and were far from normal. It is absolutely ridiculous when other schools talking bad on your place if business along with parents and the students...I couldnt believe it....lol other schools confirmed the crazy things they heard from Lighthouse...and to top it off...light house some how removed the bad reviews off their Google website...before there were terrible reviews from former students and parents and it broke my heart reading them...I couldnt finish reading them...I dont understand how adults could act like that towards kids...and to get the reviews removed is proof of guilt....when I got my son removed it felt like I won a million dollars this place was a headache and their actions will come to light and they will all get what they deserve...you dont play with people's children...Just fu**** sick!

We have a full fall scheduled but this summer we attended a weekly class at Simply Social Kids. I am so glad we did! The instructor was wonderful! We spoke on the phone and over email and she was very receptive to keeping me updated on the week's activities. I learned behavior cues, to help my son stop and pause to allow other to speak. My son really enjoyed the activities, which to him were just play, while important social practice was embedded creatively by his instructor. I wish we were able to continue in the fall, but hopefully we can revisit in the spring. The director is committed to keeping her staff trained, comes with a great resume herself, and was extremely helpful. It is obvious these instructors have a passion for helping children be their best selves. Thank you Simply Social Kids for providing a safe and natural learning environment for my son to relax and be himself, learn about others and grow socially, without the critical eye of the world around him. I met with Karen, the director, after a girlfriend of mine recommended them. We walked throughout the entire school, not just the infant room- which is what we needed. The do in house field trips! I was talking to a neighbor mom who couldn't understand why they would have a chef, and to ME, it's important. Because cooking, prepping, rationing out snacks and meals, is tough sometimes. I run a business and manage an office, and my husband works starting his days at 630 at a glass contracting facility, so we are BUSY! Knowing my daughter can get the proper attention and great food, makes me feel VERY confident that I'm providing her with the best school. They have monitors and video cameras, which helps me feel the kids are safe. There's monitors in the front lobby. Everything was clean, everything was labeled, and it felt like they're managed very well. I certainly was extra stressed with the process of getting twins acclimated to the daycare environment at 15 months (they were at home with a nanny before this), but everyone from the the teachers and staff and director helped make the process work. They girls have their primary teacher, but are constantly interacting with different groups of kids and teachers and staff. This has been wonderful in getting them accustomed to new people outside of the school environment. They used to be very shy about meeting new people but its a comfortable process being in new places now.
