Update from last review…read more The owner really tries to do her best. However, the sitters are hit or miss. Sometimes the sitters do an excellent job, show up on time, and engage my child. Other times, they're on their phones, barely paying attention, and lets my child do dangerous things. However, the most frustrating part of this is not knowing whether the sitter will show up or not. So often, we will have a sitter confirmed just to have them cancel last minute (1-2 hours before the session). This is problematic because once a sitter claims an appointment, other sitters can't claim it. So when there is a last minute cancellation, we are just screwed. Not sure why these sitters are so poorly trained and have so many commitment issues. But having a babysitting service be so unreliable is a huge red flag.

I've known Alex for almost four years now and he has been so professional and expeditious with his response whether it's by phone, email, or in-person. For example, my second daughter needed help with Honors Living Earth and within a few minutes on the phone, Alex was able to locate me an in-person tutor to start within the next 24-48 hours. You can't beat that for superior service and attention to detail.

We started to bring him in November and have seen a huge improvement in his math skills since then. Chris is really patient with the kids and I like that he won't allow them to move to the next level within the program unless they are comprehending what they're currently learning. I've had no issues, and it's been a smooth ride. My child comes twice a week. If you've been thinking about coming in to take their free placement test, I would definitely do it! The tutors are top notch - both experienced, professional. Reza is awesome, he has paired me with tutors and is flexible and totally receptive to our needs and schedule changes. He gives you bios of tutors and you get to select your tutor and for any reason if it doesn't work out, you can change to another tutor. So far, I have only received the best tutors and never had any issue except for some minor scheduling issues that came up on my end and Reza resolved right away. It is nice to have a tutoring company that truly cares about each student and not just about collecting your money. The payment policy is also great because you get a discount for prepaid packages and if for any reason you need to cancel, you get your money back for the unused credits. I went to a bunch of other tutoring centers that charged much more and they had strict policies of buying prepaid and non refundable packages. I felt uncomfortable taking the risk of buying a huge package and not knowing if I liked the place. Also, with tutor genius the tutors come to your home which saves me the drive. All around convenient. Would recommend over and over again.
