Adorable place. Came here to get breakfast with my friends. Very French- slow service so it's great if you want to spend a few hours chatting and enjoying your coffee. There's no order counter, the waitresses will come to your tables. Amazing food, cute decor, good prices and free parking in the lot out back. There's also a patio. Also 11 out of 10 on the bathrooms. They had ADA compliant handrails to sit down and an extra seat on the toilet for younger kids (it was a bit smaller opening)

Food very good! Service very friendly. She was really nice but extremely slow to take are order ect. The cafe has so much potential, but it's mid. Old dirty fake plants, not great decor, looks like things thrown in here and there The thing bothered me most was cleanliness. It's wasn't awful, however it wasn't great at all. We sat by the window and the window had fingerprints all over. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was food all over the floor. It was not busy enough for no one to clean up the floors. Every table will have food underneath of them. You may have thought children were there eating. And the bathrooms ! They could really use some help Luckily, the food was so good. It made up for all the bad that I saw in the place.

I didn't like the hot chocolate nor service. Hot chocolate was not even hot and tasted artificial. Service was inexperienced and unhelpful. Had to call the service over to take our order. Didn't even thank us after we paid. Ambiance was atrocious. There were dishes and knives clanking from the services, and the waitress even dropped butter knives near our table. Would not come back.

I've loved going to the Chestnut Hill location. The new one in Devon is worth the drive. Tasty chestnut latte with my favorite egg, tomato croissant sandwich. Lovely seating area with/lots of space. Fun gift options and tasty take away pastries.

Loveeee! This French Café has ample room to spread out for coffee and yummy lunch. I also love their iced tea that's presented at the table. The croissants are baked fresh daily, and I recommend the smoked salmon.

Super cute French cafe, the interior is elegant and workers are kind. I got the lafayette on a croissant, it was light, crispy, and the pear was refreshing. The salad wasn't really a salad, just some mixed greens on the side without any dressing, I think that could be improved upon. My mom got the parisan with french onion soup, it was hearty and indulgent. A bit expensive but I would return. It would be a nice place to study or hang out with friends.

Few things make me swoon like a good French pastry. Always looking for one wherever I go. Such a treat to find one so close to home. Discovered as I was shopping elsewhere and asked the clerk why parking was so bad. He gestured to the cafe and said it was really good. I had to check it out. Lovely, spacious and full of happy customers. I joined the line to order and after a short wait got a small cherry pie and galette de rois. Most of the offerings were based on a laminated dough. I wouldn't turn them down, but hope they expand to those intricate little treasures I crave. They had bread, I had to pass since my schedule would keep me from eating it at its prime.

I really like this cafe!! I've been a couple times and the coffees, pastries, and sandwiches have all been great. Not to mention the adorable seating with great natural light, and great service.

It's like dining at a café in Paris without getting on an airplane. The decor, ambience, menu, and all of the items on it are perfect.

How is the coffee there recently? I visited a few months back and asked if the regular coffee was strong and was reassured that it was. It actually was not. Was it at least good, as you'd get in France?

I think their coffee is pretty good. I love their ice tea as well.

The lattes were unique flavors, very tasty, not too sweet and full of foamy goodness! The chocolate chip cookie was dry and crumbly, which was our only complaint. The coffee cake was moist and delicious and the cheese panini was simple, warm and cheesy - the only thing lacking was maybe a little garlic aioli to spice it up, which we will ask for next time! We sat on the front porch and savored our goodies. We will definitely be back after our next trip to the gardens!

Then they can choose to order the dish lacking a key component or they can select something that can be prepared correctly. Sourdough with smoked salmon, tomatoes, cream cheese, red onion, and CAPERS is not the same dish without the salty briny capers. So, big fail. At almost $13 for a single slice of toast without the other items (and not enough smoked salmon to counteract the missing salty aspect) it's sad. On the upside, there were enough red onion chunks to have me breathing onions for several days. The specialty drink I ordered, which is a cold brew with an amaretto foam, was really good. It's a lot of ice and a medium sized drink, so you can gauge the value for the price. It wasn't cheap. I probably wouldn't do it again. But it did taste good. The environment is nice. Old train station, high ceilings, charming atmosphere. Old wood floors, old wood moldings, old ceiling. It does look like the windows have been replaced, but they kept the frames. The space has been upgraded while maintaining the charm. Kudos to the person who did it. Fun to see the trains speeding through the station. It's a great option for people waiting for trains or being picked up. One cold brew and one sourdough toast dish with a reasonable tip was over $21.

I have to say this is like having fun carnival food without the hassle, heat, lines and crazy pricing. And the ambiance is really nice -- fancy farm to table with plush seating and pillows. If you're going to get an appetizer, I would highly recommend getting the snack board to share (unfortunately this was eaten before I got to take photos). It includes delicious biscuits paired with the most perfect sausage gravy, thick cut bacon, fruit, croissant, warm donut holes, deviled eggs, and dips/jams. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. The gravy is jaw-dropping and perfect with the texture of the biscuit -- trust me, you have to try it!!! The donut holes are fluffy and soft fritters. I also really loved the deviled eggs' flavor. For my entree, I got the breakfast pot pie (in the photo) which had the same incredible gravy and biscuit crust as the appetizer, topped with a crispy fried egg. My sister had the Challah French Toast (peach compote) which was also incredible -- perfect without being too sweet. Both were huge portions. Service was also excellent -- our waitress very kindly brought out our toddler nieces' kids' meals first along with our appetizers. She even brought out a little sorbet on the house for my sister's birthday (which also was very very good!)

And we all got alcoholic drinks, and many with desserts. The Smoked Old Fahioned was very not good. It smelled nice, but tasted like cherry cough syrup. It was like smoked cherry cordial with a splash of well-shelf bourbon. It's probably not literally well-shelf... just an emphasis on how unpalatable this was and therefore expensive for what it is. I didnt pay $15+ for some cherry cordial. Waitress vocalized distaste when we wanted to spit checks - which we told her before placing orders. Then she gave sh** about seating arrangements; since we wanted to split checks she ordered us to sit by how checks are being split. That's a new one... She said she would have to write separate checks... an obvuous approach... I endorse that plan smh. Wouldn't that be easier when it comes to "splitting checks" when all is said and done? To treat us as separate tables but still tack on 20% per check? As we are wrapping up dinner and everyone else was looking over dessert, I told her she could bring mine now since I have a 45 min drive back to CC and I have perishables. People are now eating their dessert and she's still fussing aroundat her kiosk. I eventually approach her and asked for mine again. She got super frustrated and unprofessional, and said us wanting to split bills is (exact words) "tumultuous." Does she even know what that word means? "I thought you wrote separate checks?" But she's trying to figure out how to split like $8 rolls among like 12 people. She was like, "Then who is paying for the rolls?" That is her job to find out. I am a guest, not the host of the party. I only know three other people there. She walks to the table and says (again..exact words), "Who's paying for the rolls?" As if we are planning on dining and dashing with basic dinner rolls. Why? Because we are a table of minorities? Had we been a table of all white, would she have asked HOW we would like to have it split? I was in the dine-in food service industry for several years. I had thought splitting checks was a very common practice, and I absolutely did NOT ask patrons to sit in specific order. White Dog in UC didn't do that either (or anywhere else). Perhaps White Castle is more within her playing field. Some courses in sensitivity training may aid in her professional development. And they wanted to charge like $4 per person since someone baked cupcakes.... reminder that most people also ordered dessert on top of all this. They can go pound the sand.
