Came for matcha, matcha itself is great but the cold foam is just okay they use monk n syrups to flavor them

Gelato and coffee on the train tracks

Loved every bit of this place. Nice staff and such charm. Coffee and ice cream: what could be better? It's in an old train station so that's pretty cool. They have sweet snacks, gelato and hot or cold coffees. Restrooms were clean, ample seating inside and out, and prices were reasonable. A win in my book!

This is a great little cafe that sells lots of local goodies. I got iced tea and a panini and they were decently priced and delicious. I sat at a nice table with a view of the train tracks and did some work. I'll be back next time I'm out that way!

I live for this place. I go out of my way almost every day to get my little coffee treat here because they have quite literally the best cold brew around. The vibes are so great during every season and they also have delicious seasonal menus. The baristas are the nicest people ever and it's conveniently located with the train station. Love love love this place!

    Chocolate Gelato

I love this place! Their flavors are constantly changing so you never know what you'll like but they let you sample the flavors if you want. I always go with the dark chocolate flavor!

Inside is surprisingly larger than I thought based on previous pics. Actually super cute and you just walk out and are on the Wayne platform for septa. They even have a little clock telling you the train times and if they're late! I got my usual London fog but they had a surprising amount of options. It was quite quiet, probably a good place for working/studying. I like the atmosphere. Staff were friendly!

The cafe is in the old station building.

Love coming here with the kids. We hop on the train, which is always fun for them, and the cafe is right in the Wayne SEPTA station. We typically grab gelatos or some light baked goods/sweets and watch the trains come and go. It's also just off the main drag, so you can walk around before catching the train home. The staff is also friendly to the kids and the location is quaint and makes great use of the old station building.

A very nice place, with very good coffee, delicious gelato ice cream, and excellent service by Brooke. One of the most beautiful and oldest place in Philadelphia next to the Wayne train station, which was built in 1882.

Great service on Easter morning. We went there after church to relax before everyone split up to travel. They make a true Cortado and my son thought it was delicious. I had the butter cookie latte which had the right amount of sweetness. You can get the chai latte sweetened or unsweetened which is perfect for those who want to customize.

What a lovely little spot on the Main Line! I am an afternoon tea connoisseur, so my expectations…read morewere rather high... and they were surpassed! I had been in the area for several days to tour apartments and daycares in advance of our planned move to Pennsylvania next year... so a lovely tea was my little splurge on the trip after days of drinking protein shakes on the go. I made a reservation for 10 am on Sunday, right when they opened, since I was going to go straight to the airport afterward. I was seated immediately, and everything came out pretty fast. I opted for the full afternoon tea, which comes with eight tea sandwiches, a scone with clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves, and three assorted mini pastries, along with a pot of tea. You can choose up to four flavors for the sandwiches (so you get two of each flavor for a total of eight mini sandwiches), so I got the curried chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and cheddar cheese and chutney. Most tea places give you four sandwiches per person, so there was no way I was finishing eight of these. Thankfully, I got four of them in a to-go box and they ended up being a tasty snack on the plane. The curried chicken salad was my favorite (which they sell in their to-go containers in the gift shop), followed by the cucumber and cream cheese (the cucumbers were thinly sliced, which makes a big difference!). The egg salad was good, but a bit mild-flavored. I can't say I loved the cheddar cheese and chutney combo, so in the future I might just opt for more of the curried chicken or cucumber sandwiches instead. For the scone, I chose blueberry citrus, which was delicious! I used a very thin layer of the lemon curd, followed by the strawberry preserves and topped with the clotted cream. All of the flavors worked quite well on the scone. I wasn't blown away by the mini desserts (I can't recall exactly what flavors they were, but there was a posset that was a bit saltier than I was expecting, a blueberry cream puff, and a mini cake slice). But as I've gotten older, I've found myself more drawn to the savory aspect of afternoon teas anyway. The rest of the meal was delicious enough, and filling enough, that I honestly was never going to be able to finish everything. I was dining solo here, and I'm guessing not a lot of people do a tea for one, so I ended up chatting with 4-5 different employees here over the course of my meal. I have to say that the service here may have been the friendliest I've experienced pretty much anywhere. Everyone I spoke with was so welcoming and kind! When it came time for me to leave, they all wished me a safe trip back to Florida and said they hoped to see me again as one of their "regulars" once we move. I can already tell you, I hope that's the case too! This place is adorable, inside and out. And I love the assorted British foods available in the gift shop, along with fun kitchenware. If my suitcase hadn't already been packed to the brim, I probably would've spent more money in that shop. I'm looking forward to returning next year once I escape the Sunshine State :)

Browse the British gifts and snack items in the attached shop as you wait for your table. If reservations aren't required, they're highly recommended because the few times we've been here it's been full. Fun atmosphere for a staycation lunch and the array of available teas is amazing. Our favorite this time was the summer seasonal Mai Tai, a refreshing, light, and fruity brew.

Why did she have to be so miserable when she could have had sweet, ol' lovable me forever. Anyway, nothing has changed other than the menu. The interior still had warm paintings of cute doggos all around, and the service at the bar was spectacular. Peter, I believe was his name, was so courteous, calm, respectful and nothing was a problem, he just took care of things. The starters of Tuna Tartar and the Arugula Beet Salad were fabulous, so full of mixed flavors, pleasing to all senses. For entrees my friend had the Blackened Shrimp ABLT salad, so decadent, so rich in flavors and content. I had the leftovers the next day, it was still fabulous. I had the Lamb Bolognese. A creamy thick bolognese but not heavy...if that makes any sense. For dessert the pineapple upside cake ala mode to die for! Great choice. My frequent visits in the area are Rosalie's and Estia. And now put White Dog back on that list. It's time to become a regular again in that rotation.

I was seeking a cake not frosted with Buttercream, or not frosted at all, so I thought I'd give this a try. I really wanted the Taro Cake but whimped out when considering the taste of who I'd be sharing it with, but did get to try it. It taste, both in profile & texture, like a sweet potato. Purchased a Vanilla Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake. It was light in texture, not terribly different from Angel Food Cake, but absent of other flavors. Less sweet cakes often have overtones of almond or citrus that shine through, but this tasted like a vanilla cake minus the sugar. When I sliced into it I was hoping for more of a strawberry puree inside, but it appeared to be just sliced strawberries & a whole lot of unsweetened whipped cream. A little 1 dimensional for me. It was packaged beautifully w/ a lady finger & birthday candle. The gentleman working the counter was super helpful & I look forward to trying the Matcha & other flavors in the future. This one was a miss for me. While I barely have a sweet tooth, I need a little more going on than what was presented. That's a preference, not a criticism.
