I have been seeing various practitioners at Matossian for more than two years. I had an emergency retinal tear that Dr. Aikey repaired successfully for me; I had a little post-op pain and they saw me immediately on a Saturday morning and dealt with it completely; and recently, Dr. Rozenbaum prevented me from getting unnecessary cataract surgery (!) that had been recommended by an overeager optometrist in Yardley. The only reason I considered giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I typically have very long wait times when I go for visits. I just plan for 2+ hours for anything, even routine follow-ups. What's important is that consistently I get excellent eye care, and that's what matters most. read more

I've been going to Matossian Eye Associates for many years now, and I definitely would recommend them. They are located at the Hopewell Medical Center. Dr Rosenbaum is a great doctor and has been checking my eye health over the last 10 years or so. The staff is always friendly and polite, and also efficient at their jobs. Once you are called in everything runs smoothly. The support staff do any pre-exam testing, vision testing, checking of medical history, taking photos of your eyes, etc. Dr. Rosenbaum then checks everything and does an exam. The other thing I want to mention is that normally you don't have to wait a long time. My last exam from start to finish may have taken about an hour. read more

I had another great experience at Matossian Eye Associates this past week. I am 71 years old and in the past year I have had cataracts removed and a retinal operation on my right eye. My eye site is the best it has been in the last 20 years. Glasses are gone for distance, but I do need reading glasses, which is fine with me. Everyone at the office was great. Doctors and support staff are tip top...Front office staff and billing need help as they never know if it is a follow up and always try to bill for a co pay (even on elective botox). Now they want a credit card on file for incidentals... not doing that. Called billing twice....no call back from first call then second call the "brief hold" never got picked back up. I love love love Dr Johnson and Dr Rozenbaum and will deal with the front desk and check, check and re check everything... read more

The Doylestown office is busy, however staffers keep things moving efficiently. My wife recently had Dr. Matossian perform cataract surgery with great results. Dr. Cynthia Matossian was my father's doctor, for many years, & so when I was ready for an ophthamologist, of course this is where I went. Dr. M. looked after me for quite a few years; when I was ready for the cataract surgery, it was Dr. Ilya Rozenbaum who performed the surgery & is now my dr. Like everyone else in that office, he is superb. I cannot praise the entire team too highly. As for the surgery, I still call it "weird & wonderful"; after wearing glasses since 7, I can now see all but close-up without them. And for dry eye, I didn't realize I had this problem until the dr pointed it out, & now I take drops regularly. read more

After being diagnosed as a glaucoma suspect, I was referred by Dr. Matossian (the first doctor I had) to Dr Ilya Rosenbaum who has been my doctor for 16 years. He performed my cataract operations ( which went perfectly) and has continued to monitor my glaucoma by carefully watching my eye pressure levels and adjusting medications appropriately. I went to the Ewing, NJ location for over ten years for eye exams with my mom. I was on her Insurance then. Now I use Medicare my sole Insurance right now until I finish college next year and gain employment. This year I went to the Hamilton, NJ location for the first time. The office building was so nice-looking on the outside and it's really really nice on the inside as well. I see Dr. Meuller or Dr. Lutz for my eye exams annually and they are both good female eye Dr's. This past March after I got my annual eye exam I bought two five dollar each contact lens cases one in bronze and the other in yellow with small silver hearts on it. I even got recommendations from the Dr. to use eye drops each morning for a dry eye problem I'd been having. She was so kind and warm and personable with me as a patient. I plan to get a contact lens consultation followed by a contact lens fitting because I want to try Dalies disposable lenses and hopefully I'll be able to get a 6-month supply to have for when I'm taking pictures. read more

Very unhappy with Matossian- they botched the job on my left eye! My right eye is fine, however, I have a number of problems with my left eye. constantly red, sore, full of mucus and extremely sensitive to sunlight. when I have complained they told me to take more fish oil! and now I can't get them to provide a medical necessity form which allows me to have my Retasis covered.
