We only get to shop here when they have their "vendor days". But it's great to stock up on your must-have items and save some money!!

The staff here keeps the place tidy despite the constant barrages of teenagers surely coming in here and screwing it up. This store is always pretty well-organized. I always appreciate that the bottoms, like jeans and athletic wear, are always in proper order, so you can find what you need without looking too hard. This store always has a nice selection of activewear. As a yogi, I rest gravitate towards their Breathe On collection and yoga leggings. Their activewear is actually affordable, versus some places that charge $100+ for a pair of leggings. Whenever I hit this Old Navy, I also stop at the nearby Ulta and do a double yoga and beauty haul. You can count on this Old Navy to find what you're looking for.

*This review is about this location, not about Old Navy in general.*…read moreThe only comment I will make about Old Navy in general is: never pay full price. Ever. They are always having sales. Everything there goes on sale. Everything. I have shopped at this location for many years. 90% of my wardrobe is from Nordstrom or Old Navy. I would say I am in this location at least 15 times per year. Every single time I have been in this store, the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. If you need help, all you have to do is ask. The checkout lines are always fast and efficient. The store is always clean and well organized, which makes finding sizes easy. If you are a shopper- please please be respectful of the employees and don't pull out and unfold all the clothes. Someone has to refold and put them back!

As for me, I was able to recently snag a set of vintage plates from the Occupied Japan period and the plate holder as well alongside some sweaters here - all for less than $45.

Located on Richmond Road just South of Miles, Thriftique is easy to miss since it is a fairly nondescript building with a small sign, but it is worth your time to find. Inside you find a nice store stocked with high quality products. Thriftique is run by the National Council of Jewish Women so there is a bit of a Jewish flavor but they also generally get really good donations. The store what looks to be a good selection of women's clothing and a smaller selection of men's clothing. For the men's clothes it is a good place to find suits, shirts and shoes. Prices are a bit higher then many thrift stores, but you are getting what you pay for. On a recent visit they were having a closeout where some clothes were either $5 or $1, although it was a bit confusing over which items were in each price range. Thriftique has great decor pieces and miscellaneous. The mix is weighted towards good stuff and I really haven't seen any junk or items that are way overpriced. Where Thriftique really shines is that they have a large selection of excellent furniture. You will find a number of couches, chairs, tables and other large items. If you are looking for better items at discount prices Thriftique is well worth a stop, you may pay a bit more, but you do get value for what you pay. The money goes to a great cause. Give them a try.

In retrospect, getting a cart would have been a good idea. I really like ALDI in terms of selling European products. It always allows me to feel nostalgic and also expand my taste palette. Prices are budget-friendly. Although a die hard ALDI fan, this was my first visit to this particular ALDI location. The store is spacious, well lit, and very clean. The store was almost empty when I visited on Monday evening. Lines and self-checkout lines moved very quickly. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which was grocery store efficiency win. I love that there's "quick meals" section by the entrance! If you need any other items you can't find, Marc's is in the same plaza. I found few negatives during store navigation: product organization and stock. Certain parts of the store such as fish and lunch meats were illogically organized and not in the manner other stores do their organization. It took me awhile to find smoked salmon. When I finally did, it came in very small packages. It was ideal for one person but wasn't what I expected. I was unable to find liverwurst, macarons, cream puffs, and a few other minor items. My final haul was the following: lobster dip (too watery), crab sticks (too sweet), pitas (always delish), smoked salmon (more salty than usual), and Rainier cherries (tasty). I also discovered few new-to-me items: Choco Changer sustainable chocolate, clover honey, mimosa bottles, rose cones ice cream, and boho hanging chair (in AOS). And really, is this even an AlDI review without shoutout to AOS aisle? It was very well stocked but had very few seasonal items (except a fan, which is super seasonal). I'd recommend this store for anyone looking for a quick shopping experience during the week.

They squeezed way too many registers in this tiny little area, and worst was the self checkout scanner guns have 3' cords and start near the floor. Completely useless. I checked three different ones before decided on one, oh wait.. it was broken. Looks like I'm not the only one who tried to pull them farther. Seriously, scanner could barely even reach the register, let alone your cart to scan. Had to pull cases of water completely up to register. What a disaster. Zero employees to help too. Spend the extra time and go to the Aldi in Bainbridge.
