Dr Freeman is the best doctor I've ever had. It's almost unbelievable how thorough he is. I waited to leave a review until after I'd seen him a few times, but now I (and the people I have referred) have had several visits and can say that he is without a doubt a Tucson treasure. I have some complicated stuff going on, and not only is he very knowledgeable in his own right, he is also well-connected and happy to provide fantastic referrals. It's easy to make appointments and get responses to questions, and I feel welcomed, cared for, and listened to every time I go. It's also clear that Dr Freeman is ethical, which I appreciate. Three of my friends referred me to him, but I was hesitant at first because I was worried he was more of a testosterone-farm kind of doctor, but that is definitely not where he is coming from. I have been seeing Dr. Freeman for a few years now and he is the only doctor I will go to. He takes time to listen to you, which most doctors do not these days. He is kind, gentle (yes a men's doctor needs to be gentle). I generally trust the guy to tell me how it is and what I need to be doing. I HIGHLY recommend him to any man who is weary or dare i say scared of seeing a doctor. This is the guy you need to see. I researched to find a provider after my primary care of five years left the country. I found Matthew through a LGBT referral source and he came highly recommended. I thought it would be the perfect place to go as he only see males. Don't waste your time or money at his office. He will schedule you for a new patient visit, spend over an hour with you going over your history and doing a complete physical, refill your meds, order lab work (all came back normal except Cholesterol), send out referals, then he tells you to follow up after you see the specialist. When you leave the office you think everything is good. You think you found the perfect provider. Then 3 or 4 days later sends you a letter stating "upon reviewing your case history. symptoms, examinations, and laboratory test, I have reached the conclusion that I will not be the best person to serve as your primary care provider". Very generic termination letter. He is not knowledgable enough to help with my medical care. read more

I was in need of a full physical in order to meet a tight deadline for a foreign travel visa. I called and visited my clinics in Tucson and could not find a doctor who was familiar with foreign travel visa requirements. The closest clinic I could find was a 2-hour drive and 3 week waiting list in Phoenix. I then received a call from Dr. Freemans staff at the Men's Vitality center, I had sent off numerous inquiries the night before seeking help. I was reassured that Dr. Freeman was extremely well versed in foreign visa travel requirements! I was giving a very quick appointment and after meeting Dr. Freeman I was reassured that he could and would meet any deadlines I had with my pending travel!
