I had an awful experience with the receptionist at this office named Kayum. She spoke to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional way, even mocking me while I was on the phone. At one point, she told me that I'm "not as important as I think I am." I was shocked by how disrespectful and condescending she was. What's worse is that she completely prevents patients from being able to speak with the doctor, acting as a barrier instead of offering help. When I asked multiple times to speak with the doctor, she told me I wouldn't be speaking to him and that she didn't care. No patient should ever be treated like that. I would never want to give my business to someone who speaks to patients this way, and I absolutely do not recommend this office to anyone. I've since read other reviews that mention similar experiences--patients being banned for missed appointments and staff being unprofessional. It's concerning that Dr. Freeman allows this type of behavior to continue. Her erratic reaction only escalated after I said I would let the doctor know how rude she was. She told me again I couldn't speak to him unless I had an appointment. It honestly feels like the doctor may not even be aware of how she's treating patients. I truly hope the office addresses this issue and that Kayum gets the help and accountability she needs. I doubt I'll hear from the doctor personally, but I hope this review helps others be aware before scheduling. read more

I was recommended this place because I was told this facility understands firefighters, first responders, and people that serve in the military. This establishment has provided me with the most unsatisfactory experience I have encountered in seeking their assistance. From the outset, I have encountered multiple challenges in attempting to schedule an appointment through their website. At the time, I did not have insurance coverage, which prevented me from completing the scheduling form. Furthermore, attempting to contact someone via phone was extremely infrequent, as no one would ever answer the phone or return my calls in any manner. Today, I was informed that I had been banned from the facility due to missing the new patient screening twice (as indicated on their website, this constitutes three offenses). Despite my persistent efforts to contact them, they denied any responsibility for the issues with their website or their failure to respond to customer inquiries after multiple calls. Given the potential for various technical or communication challenges, particularly for individuals with diverse abilities, it is concerning that they have adopted a strict and unforgiving policy that does not provide prospective patients with an opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for their services. Their failure to communicate effectively or answer phone calls when individuals have questions raises serious concerns. Additionally, their policy of denying benefits of the doubt to prospective patients without considering legitimate reasons for missed appointments undermines their professionalism and demonstrates a lack of empathy and understanding towards others. This behavior raises questions about the overall professionalism of the practice, especially when men's mental and physical health are their primary focus. It is disheartening to witness such a disregard for the well-being of individuals seeking care. Initially, I visited this establishment as a firefighter, having been recommended by a colleague. Regrettably, if you are deployed or experience an extended shift, this location may not provide the necessary assistance. At least have the professional courtesy to write someone "hey we banned you for this reason," call, leave a message. Some people have to drive very far to this location. And you wait until they walk in the door and register them on your tablet. read more

Dr. Freeman is the kind of doctor that isn't supposed to exist anymore. He spends so much time and attention with patients, and yet it's never hard to get an appointment. He has an incredible amount of expertise and up-to-date knowledge yet also has fantastic connections with specialists that he can recommend. His kindness and empathy enable him to care deeply in all senses of the word too. He's also obviously very ethical. After several of my friends recommended him after a series of serious medical mistakes from my prior PCP, I was still hesitant to go to a place like this because I was worried it was a testosterone farm. I've got a complicated medical history due to a chromosome issue, so I didn't want to go somewhere that was just going to throw testosterone at me and call it a day, since that's what my former doctor had done, leading to numerous health issues. In my first visit, it became clear that Dr. Freeman is not that kind of doctor at all. He is extremely thorough, and for the first time in a decade, my hormones are in perfect balance and my health has improved by just about every metric. I can't recommend him highly enough. Also, his online portal is secure and easy to use, and Nora, the office manager, is just fantastic. And now the office also has a psychiatrist on the team, which is a huge asset. Dr. Freeman is a Tucson treasure. I'm continually thankful that people like him still exist. read more

I spent a lot of time researching a new physician and decided to schedule an appointment with Mr. Freeman as he specialized in men's health. I just received a call from someone in his office saying that he was "only a nurse practitioner" (which I knew already) and that he wasn't interested in "taking my case." I'm not sure what I put down on my new patient questionnaire that he found so troublesome, but this is the first time I've ever had a medical professional decline to accept me as a patient, but it seems. Not really sure what to make of the whole thing but it left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. My review is 1 star because the only interaction I had with the office was negative for me. read more

Simply put, Dr. Freeman is the best doctor I've had, and I have had my fair share throughout the years. If I moved away from Tucson I would literally fly back just for him. He is a unique doctor in that he takes the time to truly understand his patients, both on a personal and medical level. You do not feel like you are talking to just a doctor, you feel as though you are speaking to a good friend who goes out of his way to ensure you are top priority. And that, to me, is one of the highest compliments I can give a medical professional. He takes the time to go over all options, discuss the pros and cons, and allow you the luxury of choosing your own path, ensuring he will support you every step of the way. Not only is he accessible, but he is quick, kind, and hard-working to the point you always feel as though you are his top priority, regardless of how ever many things he has going on. I have never written a review on a doctor before. Or anything, for that matter. It is rarely that I feel so inclined to share my thoughts. People are so quick to post something negative, but rarely take the time to post something positive. I truly hope that even if you are with another primary care physician you at least consider giving Dr. Freeman a look. I promise you, it will be the best decision you've made in a long time. Side Note - I can't write a review without mentioning the front office. Nora is quite literally the kindest, most upbeat woman you will ever meet. Whatever is going on in your life you would be hard pressed not to leave with a smile after just a few moments with her. She is a hard-working, dedicated, and enthusiastic woman; echoing the doctor she works with. If she can't put a smile on your face, I am not sure what will. read more

Dr. Freeman and Nora at the front desk are both amazing. Nora always seems genuinely excited to see me again, offers coffee/water, and is great about dealing with insurance stuff and just being helpful in general. Dr. Freeman is the best doctor I've ever had. He's patient, nice, and extremely knowledgeable about men's health. It's the first time I've felt like I have a doctor I can be completely open with and comfortable around. That has been really nice. Absolutely the best Primary Care facility I have ever been too. Friendly and great staff. Dr. Freeman is the BEST! Super friendly, easy to talk to, great bedside manner, and very thorough. Appointments are very easy to schedule and appointments run on time or even earlier than scheduled. You're not rushed in or out. I was there 15 min early and was seen right away. Dr. Freeman conducted the most thorough physical I have ever had. He caught a medical issue that needed to be addressed ASAP. He is a great listener and works with you one on one with your care. He is caring and compassionate. I can't express my happiness with MensMedical and Dr. Freeman. He is well versed in occupational medicine and has a lot of experience treating and working with firefighters. He has my highest recommendation. DITCH YOUR DOC STAT!!! I was recommended to men's medical by someone who was almost speachless about the place... Could hardly even tell me why I need to check it out....because he was so excited about this place he didn't know where to start. So I went. And now I'm trying to write a review on men's medical, and I pretty much speachless..it was amazing.... I hated going to the Dr. Office... They are all such factories... Never respecting your time, just made you wait and wait... Then when the doctor showed up, spent a few min, and got out... IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT!! Dr. Freeman seriously sits down with you listens, cares and respects you. You will feel like your just sitting down with a friend...who happens to be alot smarter than you. Absolutly the best mens health PCP I have ever been to. He shows genuine interest in anuthing I may be going through. He answers the questions I have through the portal within minutes and is very thorough and really knows how to make me inderstand anything that goes on in his office. I have seen Dr. Freeman since another clinic and I followed him to his new clinic. This Dr. Is more than worth anyones time.his receptionist Nora is the best receptionist I have ever dealt with she is inviting and really gets to know the patients much like Dr. Freeman. Dr. Freeman is cosiencious and very though. As an RN and soon to be an FNP, I believe there is no better at taking time to explain procedures, lab results and the communication is excellent on the patient portal. the care and detail Dr. Freman goes to is refreshing. Getting direct and to the point this organization is very disorganized. The front office manager does not know how to follow through with request. Meeting the demands of complex patients is challenging in the healthcare delivery science and this front office manager needs a lot of training regarding healthcare delivery. Requesting email communications is a simple task any manager can handle especially in today's technological developments.I was charged a $150 cancellation fee for one missed appointment which I emailed her to cancel. This office manager stated to me after she gave me her email that this is too much for her to handle and that she gets too many emails so I am not allowed to email her anymore and she can not remove the charge because this goes through their billing department. It is hard for me to believe that she has no control over the billing department. Dr. Freeman should be ashamed of her behavior. I would also recommend that when working in healthcare personal hygiene is important and this office smells of dogs when Dr. Freeman brings his dog to work. What about allergies to pets? Using mouth wash and brushing teeth is also another concern because this practitioners breath smells so bad. Terrible experience with inaccuracies and bad business practices of price gouging their patients. Be aware of over-billing from this office. The front office manager charged me for a $20 co pay for preventative services which is 100% covered. I had to explain to her this should not happen. I wonder how many others have been overcharged and did not know better. They have failed at the triple aim of health care which is reducing cost for consumers, providing quality services to increase patient satisfaction, and promoting better health populations. read more
