Extremely Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience…read more I started a commercial policy with Karen's office this year, and unfortunately, it's been a terrible experience from the very beginning. I was on a payment plan, but when the policy renewed after six months, I received a bill for the full next six months. Thinking it was a mistake, I called the office and was told not to worry -- they said they would take care of it. They didn't. The policy ended up getting canceled, yet they still took the first payment for the new term. Then I received a notice from the DMV about a lapse in coverage for June. I called again and was told once more that they'd handle it. Two weeks later, I got another letter from the DMV -- this time stating that my plates had been revoked. When I called again, the story changed completely. Now they claimed I never had a payment plan in place and started blaming me for the entire issue. The level of frustration and incompetence I've experienced with this office is unbelievable. Because of their mistakes, I now have to pay a $50 fee, another $60 for a DMV hearing, and I'm still driving with canceled plates -- all due to their complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

But guess what, we are human and arent perfect. Only Jesus was. We are going to make honest unintentional mistakes. Everyone does. Are you saying you never have? So why do you feel you need to punish someone or an agency for being human? Have you no mercy for people making mistakes? Does it really make you that bitter and angry to have to hurt them for not doing anything intentionally wrong? We dont make money unless we write policies, so obviously we do whatever we can to write as many as we can. It does us no good to quote someone and not write a policy. That being said, if we dropped the ball then thats on us and we lose a customer,it's ok, we can't write everyone and we will drop the ball from time to time. Losing them is on us. Thats no reason to punish someone or leave a bad review to hurt their business. What if it were your business and you had an employee make an honest mistake and the client bashed your business on the internet? How would you feel. Chad Richards is not there for his customers when they truly need him with a claim. I have been a…read morecustomer of Chad Richards for over a decade. When I needed him the most, he was not there for me. November 7, 2024, my husband and I were in a serious auto accident where we were rear-ended by another State Farm customer. While the other driver was immediately found to be at fault, I have been having to fight with State Farm every step of the way. For the first two months, Chad was not able to spare even 5 minutes to speak with me. Then, when he did start talking with me, he gave me wrong information. So, after 3 months of going nowhere with the claim, Chad's office tells me that I should have filed under my own insurance as they would have more insight as to what was going on with claims, could help more, and I could use the "Appraisal" clause. Three MONTHS after telling me not to file under my own insurance. I open a claim under my insurance, and was able to settle on the total loss of my car for more money than was originally offered, but much less than my car was worth at the time of the accident. Once we settled on the total loss of our car, we went out and purchased another car. Upon picking the car up, I called Chad's office to get the new car insured. They took the information and assured me the new car was covered. Two weeks later, I am looking at my account and notice that my old car is still listed and my new one is not listed. I call and speak with Chad's office and they FORGOT to put the insurance through on the new car. I had been driving around with only the "grace period" coverage on my car. We ended up switching to a new state farm agent and went into their office to set up insurance on the new car and was told it was completed. Several weeks later we found out that the same thing happened and the new car was not put on our policy and we were driving uninsured. This has been a full-time job dealing with State Farm and all the hoops they have made and are continuing to make me jump through. If it was not for my persistence and daily calls, I do not think we would have had any settlement on the car. State Farm will do everything they can to not pay a claim and when do offer a settlement, it will be far less than what is fair. We are now going to have to deal with the medical claims and I expect more problems. Getting an attorney and having them take 1/3 of the offer off the top was not a viable option. The only thing State Farm is good at is collecting their money every month, but what good is insurance if they don't pay out on a claim when something happens?
