Great service. I made an appointment for rear brakes. I arrived on time and the car was complete in about an hour and a half. However they also pointed out I had a blown strut, a leaking lower thermostat housing that I didn't even know existed and of course offered the standard mileage work up. We are traveling and scheduled a tire replacement for our travel trailer. I gave them very specific information on their recorded line and scheduled the installation. When I got there, they told me they do not do travel trailers and refused to do the work that was scheduled. I even offered to remove each tire and re-mount myself. The manager delivered that news unsympathetically. We went 200 yards down the street and discount tires did a great job. Strange that a road side help company could not figure that out. read more

We have a flat tire on Main & Capital in Wake Forest. We called Triple A AAA) for assistance at 11:47 am. It is now 3:05 pm. We make follow-up calls and get the run around. At one point the dispatcher advised us to contact the police department if we believed we were in danger. I've been a member for 45 years, I faithfully pay every year. For what? To get the run around? Potential members beware! read more

My car towed to you May 2,2025. I paid a deposit on my visa for $850.00. On May 07 I paid an additional $859.08. May 14 I eeturned with my vehicle because ir was blowing hot air at no charge. May 19 brought car to Crossroads Nissan due to overheating and no ac. On May 28th paid Nissan $851.74 to replace the off market part that was put into my car and didn't work. Nissan put in a Nissan part. Now the car works. I have the off market part in my possession. AAA never asked my permission for this part nor have I ever paid a deposit over the phone to start work. I don't know how to attach the photos but I will bring all the backup material to AAA. You caused me much aggravation and time. At 82 years of age, widow, I deserve more truth and kinder service. Follow Up Review: AAA sent an inspector to my home after I paid for a full year of homeowner's insurance. Right after that I received a cancellation notice because they stated that I have a dog on the "no go" list. Upon calling, I learned that they thought I had a Chow Chow dog. I have a Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog. It has literally been months of me trying to get this resolved including providing them documentation from a vet. that my dog is a GP. Finally, I received a reinstatement notice. A few days ago, I received another cancellation notice for lack of payment. I paid my premium for a year in full at the time of purchase. The stress of all this has been incredibly high!!!!! Nightmare for months!!! read more

The store did not respect my appointment time and in fact did not take the car into the shop until 2.5 hours after the time scheduled. This is a consistent problem with this location and will result in loss of my business for any service going forward. the young man at the counter was pleasant and tried to be helpful but watching the mechanic through the window was revealing. he sat on his butt rather than working, the excuse was availability of the input computer for the state inspection, I call baloney. unless you have all day and half the night, go somewhere else. read more

So my hybrid 12 volt battery died. Sam's club doesn't have these. Tried aaa (we have been members for 30+ years) .Initial greeting was " I think I just sold the last one". Another service person actually checks . They had more in stock. Quoted 260for battery, 75.99 for installation, 27 for supplies, plus tax ++++. 390.00. Claimed it was a difficult install. When asked, they explained supplies as just a charge like terminal cleaners ( on a new battery??). Wouldn't sell parts only because of warranty issues. Walked out, called Leith and got a battery for 191.00. I installed it in 13 minutes.. with 7 year warranty. I don't do this for a living and they call this difficult. They lost a customer and credibility in less than 5 minutes. They call this a club?? read more

While driving, I got a shimmy in the rear of my Dodge Dakota. I called AAA at 11:00 am. They told me the road service would be there by 1:45. I called again at 2:00. They said it was on the way and would be there by 2:20. At 2:30 they still had not arrived. Called again. This time the driver said he would be there by 2:45. He arrived at 2:55. He was a very pleasant, nice man. He dropped my truck at AAA about 4:00 and they started working inon it the next day. A rear emergency brake had stuck and was dragging a rear wheel. They gave me a quote of $2100, which included new front brakes too. They finally finished 3 days later. When I picked it up, the brake pedal was soft. It went almost all the way to the floor. They assured me that they had test driven it and everything was good. They pulled it back in the shop and changed the brake fluid again. Still soft pedal. Second time changing fluid. It still was soft, but better. I said that I would dive it home, but told them I w ould take it to my own mechanic if needed. They said that I had to bring it back to them. ( Over 50 miles away.) After further discussion they said I could take it to any mechanic that was associated with AAA. Terrible service. The only good thing I can say about them is they did pull it back in and continue to work on it. ( I guess they didn't want a lawsuit if my brakes failed.). A week later the pedal is still soft, although better. I will give it more time before I take it to my regular mechanic. I will upgrade the review if the problem works its way out. read more

Not only did Alik save the day but he did so with kindness. Having been to Rolesville Main St park and their parking area cement have a piece of metal tear the undercarriage of my bumper he told me to come on down ....even though they were busy and had no available appointments.... and they'd at least look at it for me... fast forward to exemplary service and a repair done quick as a wink! Update: So, after my 1st review bf was contacted by Wendy in this office. She did find out that our airline tickets, etc., were issued wrong, so fixed that. The trip itself was wonderful. I did email as suggested to me, and bf got a call. However, of course at this point it's I'm sorry, so sorry. I work in retail myself, and many, many, many people know we took this trip. I am advising ALL who ask how the trip went about your business! To have things done wrong, done so slowly that we were worried sick, only to have Wendy talk to me like (and you all know that tone of voice) I was ignorant or stupid.....this should have been addressed and fixed way before our trip, not led me to writing an extremely poor review! Wendy and Vickie are the faces of AAA here in town, and their faces say we really don't care if you get where you're going, we don't care that your 3 medications can't be refrigerated, we don't care that you sit at a tiny outdoor airport for 9 hours! So, thanks for the call from corporate or wherever, but you've lost any and all future business....including a trip we're planning already for the fall and one for next summer! read more

I brought my car into the AAA auto care center in Wake Forest NC on 2/23/22 and they told me I needed brakes, my car had 83452 miles on it, I told them to do the brakes. After the brake job my emergency brake didn't work so I took the car back and they tightened it up for me. On 8/1/22 I went to have my oil changed, back in ME, and they told me my brakes were less than 1mm and needed to be replaced immediately. That means, if they in fact replaced my brakes at AAA the brakes only lasted for 6,379 miles. I can't return to AAA because we are back home in Maine. DO NOT GO TO THIS REPAIR SHOP if you don't live in the immediate area. read more

I bought a top of the line battery here with a three year warranty. Totally dead after 9 months but it was cold and car isn't used much so I called for a jump start and recharged it at AAA and was told it was in great shape. 10 days later it was dead again. I asked for a replacement of what was obviously a dud battery-they refused because their tests showed nothing was wrong. I pointed out that dead in 10 days was proof of defectiveness-they disagreed. Ironically everyone there is very pleasant, but the service really sucks. read more

I stopped to out some air in the spare and it wasn't working so I stopped by this office and no questions asked, the amazing staff there said that they would be happy to patch my tire for me, no charge:) so kind and efficient! My first time taking my car here for and oil change also. They seem to think that if you're a woman, you don't know anything about cars and so they tried to sell me all this stuff I didnt need, but told me I did. That's a very dishonest practice and I take offense at their sexist way of handling business. My dad is a mechanic and has been his whole life he will be turning 69 this week. He has taught me so many things over the years and I am grateful for that. I am not one who handles confrontation well so if I was ignorant about cars they probably would have been able to take alot more of my money (hundreds of dollars). read more

Waiting 2 hours for an oil change that was by appointment is totally UNACCEPTABLE. Even though I had an appointment and had even asked how long it would be because I had to get back to work, I was assured 1 hour at most as " appointments were scheduled for 1 hour ". This is the second time here and gets longer each time for a simple oil change. I do not recommend going here unless you like to wait for a long time. read more

Took my vehicle for just an oil change because this auto center is convenient to our house. They told me that they discovered problems with my vehicle and while one of the guys wrote my estimate another guy took me out to show me the problems. I was surprised by the serious leak that they said I had because there hadn't been any kind of fluid on our garage floor, nor any problems with the vehicle. The guy showing me the "problems" seemed very hesitant and uncomfortable. After coming home and telling my husband the issues and presenting a $1500 estimate, it just didn't add up. If the leak was as bad as they said, I shouldn't have been able to drive to their shop. After 4 days my husband checked the fluids that were supposedly leaking and they were still full. I then took my vehicle to a friend of ours that owns his own auto center to see if he could do the work for less $$ and he said there was nothing wrong with the truck. He reclamped and fixed something simple and told me that if he didn't know any better he would say that it had been purposely unclamped recently to look like there was a problem. He couldn't find anything leaking and he agreed that if the fluid was "bone dry" as I was told by AAA, I wouldn't have even been able to drive my vehicle. That is certainly just his opinion, but he could have just as easily done the work and made money for himself, but rather he saved me $1,500 worth of work to my vehicle. read more

Our battery died at Sonic in Zebulon. Called AAA and they sent Steven's Towing to jump us off. The driver suggested AAA for a new battery because they have a 6 year warranty. We plan on selling the car soon so thought we would just get one from Auto Zone or Advanced Auto although their warranty is just 2 years. We checked prices at Auto Zone, Advanced Auto and AAA. To our surprise AAA was cheaper and had the better warranty. We ended up at AAA in Wake Forest because the one closest to our home on New Hope Rd did not have the battery we needed. Service at Wake Forest AAA was outstanding and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Facility is very clean. Salesman was very friendly and professional. I will trade with AAA again. read more

Took my car in for a NC state inspection. I needed the inspection to have my license tags renewed which were due that same day. I returned after an hour and they were waiting for me with a list of needed repairs costing over $900. I typically take my car to the dealer for regular maintanence and service and the car is in excellent shape. So they failed my car inspection based on the head lamp cover being foggy, which they could shine up for $130 and for a leaky strut, which was a $700 plus repair. I took my car to another service station and it passed inspection with no issues. Head lamp fogginess was minimal and no leak what so ever on rear struts. read more

I brought my car here to have a starter put in. they quoted me 381. Come to find out it actually cost me 680. They said they were back ordered and i had to pay more. My car was there three days for a starter. They sold me a serpentine belt that I didn't need. I saw the one they took out when I went to get my keys and there was nothing wrong with it. They also told me I had a bunch of bulbs out. It didn't when I went in there but sure enough I had two tail lights out and my license plate light was out. I will NEVER bring my car there again. I had made an appointment for an oil change and brake inspection for 7:30am because I was having a co-worker give me ride to work. Not only were they not ready when I got there (7:30am sharp), but they could not find any record of my appointment. So I have to wait for them to get ready to check me in which is entirely unacceptable because I was making my co-worker late for work! When I go to pick up my car, they proceed to tell me I need tires (even though I just passed inpection). Then I asked did they put air in my tire, they said they record what the tire pressure is when the car is brought in as well as when they are finished. BUT that is not true, because they recorded my tire at 34, but my tire pressure light was on when I dropped it off and it was at 26!!! I will not go to this location again, because 1) they have no concern for a customers time 2) I dont TRUST them! Makes you wonder if the other AAA locations are operating the same! read more

I got taken for! I will not take my car to another AAA service center. I wish now I taken it to the ford center just to check it out.I rather put a brand new rebuilt engine in and have a 3 year warranty to go with it. they wanted to charge me $3500 dollars to fix the engine with a used one. NO WAY! Plus I was taken for $300 Dollars. I sure wish I gun it when I took it for a test drive then I would have known that the car wasn't right. read more

I only had about 90 minutes and I explained that if they were too busy I would come back another time.(they were very busy at the time) They said no problem and about 50 minutes later I was back on the road with time to spare before my next appointment. I have been a AAA member for years but never really utilized their services (I guess not a bad thing since I've never had much car trouble). My battery recently died and I had my car towed to the service center. Everyone from the tow truck driver to the employees working on my car were extremely helpful, kind, and provided excellent customer service. I was so pleased I went back to get my basic oil change and tires rotated. They found a few things that needed fixed and I appreciated that they were not pushy at all- they gave me recommendations and helped me with options. They even offered a car service since the work would take longer than expected. I will continue to go back and I highly recommend!!! read more

I have had AAA for years! Somehow they charged an account in NH that I haven't used for over a year. The Credit Union notified me and said that if I got the charges reversed they would wave the overdraft fee. I called AAA and got passed around as usual. Finally a woman told me that if she reversed the charges, my account would be cancelled. Supposedly I had told them to auto charge this account for the next year. I had moved to Myrtle Beach so that account was not one I used anymore. A mistake was made by either myself or the AAA agent I spoke with. The first lady argued with me that it could NOT be their fault. I never take auto renewal ever. I had also moved to NC in the meantime. Basically, because of a mistake, they cancelled my account. I am checking all kinds of companies that provide the same service. No respect for customers by either women I spoke with but lots of attitude from both. I go here to get tickets for Disney prior to getting there. The staff is polite and very helpful and prompt. As a side note not related only get discounts with certain several day hopper passes not single or multi day single park tickets. The process is fairly painless here and there always seems to be about three folks here waiting to take care of you. read more
