They explained that unfortunately my wife was involved in a terrible auto accident that almost killed her. Entering January 2025, we were heading home, and Vehicle # 2 ran through a red light at a speed of 90 miles per hour in a 45-mile zone, that destroyed my mini coop convertible. The car was destroyed, and air bags deployed were almost set off fire due to the impact. Prior to that in the year 2024, the month of February, a box truck went into my wifes lane and destroyed her left driver side on the mini coop she was driving. All 3 accidents were clearly not my wifes fault and State Farm who we had insurance with on all three accidents having my mini coop convertible, decided to drop us and said we were involved in too many accidents. Clearly it was not my wifes fault with these careless drivers that should not be driving on the road. It was soo disappointing trying to resolve this issue when State Farm knew and had Police reports, pictures, videos, cameras and I am certain they had their Investigation Team that it was not my wifes fault but still decided to drop us due to accidents that my wife did not cause. I also reached out to State Farm to explain to them that they had wrong information about her husband and tried to clear my wifes name on State Farm Policy. Atlantic Insurance Group is our Auto Insurance that opened there doors for my wife & I...Appreciate it...I highly recommend Emmanuel J. Acosta!!!! They had me as the husband involved in all three accidents in which that information, they had on the computer system was incorrect. By having this information wrong at their end, it did not allow me to shop around and go with Progressive or Gieco or Allstate due to State Farm not fixing this information on their computer system. In this letter that I received in the mail I had 60 days to resolve this issue and State Farm made it very difficult to clear up my wifes name and get rid of the wrong information they had about me. In trying to resolve this devasting issue because I needed insurance to go to work and try to survive in this rough economy, while struggling to find an affordable coverage for my Honda accord which was my auto vehicle because my wifes mini coop was destroyed due to the January 2025 accident, I spoke to a young man named Emmanuel J Acosta - 220 Agent / CSR representative where his office is located at 1750 N. He not only beat the quotes I received from other companies but also took the time to walk me through every detail of my policy. Fernanda patiently waited as I frantically went on and on about the nightmare of an experience we had had over the past few days, then reassured me that she would take care of us. Within minutes, Fernanda did what 4 other insurance companies couldn't. She found us coverage tailored to our needs, within our budget, and most importantly, doing so with concern for our peace of mind. I was excited, asked all the questions, provided all my information, and even switched my policy over based on that quote. A few days later, right after everything was processed and I had already canceled my old insurance, they called me back saying "oops, we made a mistake" and suddenly my payment went up by $300. When I asked why and how this could happen, all I got was a half-hearted "sorry about that" and no real explanation or effort to fix it. The women I spoke to on the phone were completely nonchalant, acted like it was no big deal, and basically shrugged it off like losing a customer doesn't matter to them. Zero accountability, zero urgency, zero care. This is straight-up bait-and-switch behavior. Do NOT trust the quotes you get from Danny Fernandez's office--they'll reel you in with a fake low price and then jack it up once you're locked in. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. I'm beyond disappointed and now stuck shopping for new insurance all over again because of their incompetence.
