You don't spend more than 5 minutes with a therapist, and the exercises are rudimentary. For someone who is already physically active, and doesn't need the absolute base level stuff (that is better suited to couch potatoes), there is no room to improve. A good trainer and some basic home equipment will be much more beneficial. The facilities are shabby and in obvious need of an update.

I am more than happy to say I just finished a successful course of treatment with Jeff Dietrich for advanced degenerative changes in my lumbar back, including severe spinal canal stenosis, nerve compression, disc protrusions and bulges, and multilevel lumbar facet arthropathy. I am a late-70s female, lifelong athlete and musician who has no intention of sitting around. About Jeff Dietrich: Jeff's technical expertise and advanced knowledge of spine rehabilitation are world-class. I say this because he is the 5th physical therapist I have seen in the 7 years, and the only one who was able to use multiple approaches to solve my pain issues and relearn proper body mechanics--without steroid injections or surgery. On a personal level, he is meticulously focused on the patient's needs and observant of their personal goals. Jeff is also an excellent listener and teacher with the emotional intelligence to motivate anyone willing to commit to the consistent work of physical therapy. During my most recent treatment session, however, I was injured while performing an exercise directed by my physical therapist. I immediately reported the pain to the therapist and later brought the incident to the attention of the clinic staff. At my next visit, I was discharged from physical therapy. Although I had sustained a new back injury during treatment, no one recommended that I seek a medical evaluation. Instead, I was told that I could return for physical therapy for my back if I obtained a new referral. I was also concerned to find that the treatment note understated my report of pain and did not accurately reflect the severity of my response during the session. I'm obviously going to get it checked out, but it's definitely something to consider when evaluating a physical therapy practice.

I didn't think I'd look forward to my physical therapy session, but every single one had me coming out of it feeling a little bit better. Rebecca exudes professionalism and conducts herself in a way that made me feel especially welcome in the space. Her communication was outstanding and I always felt taken care of, even when things got busy. She feels like someone I'd trust with big responsibilities. Aura has a loud and lively personality. She is always keeping things interesting and brings a light-hearted mood to the usually grueling therapy process. She brings the fun. For a few of these patients, I'm pretty sure interacting with her is the hi-light of their day. Karli might have given me the best experience, though. Her gentle and relaxed demeanor would always put me at ease. But more importantly, Karli has demonstrated some incredible skills in this practice. Not only could she answer any of my questions with deep consideration and accuracy, but her ability to identify and work through problem areas in my arm was a testament to her years of experience. Every massage she provided revealed a stark and seemingly effortless expertise. It's like she could see right through my skin and work the muscles manually back into shape with her hands. I was often left impressed by her pure abilities and effective, matter-of-fact manner of problem solving. The bottom line is: they fixed my arm, and they did it with comfort and ease. Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

I originally thought I would work with him, however after hearing and assessing my situation he recommended that I start with their Pelvic Floor Therapist Dr. Minija. I really appreciated the way he listened to me and referred me to the right person. I've now had 3 appointments with Dr. Minija, and I'm feeling very hopeful that my back is going to heal by the end of the 3-month program that I signed up for. It's a smaller office with only 3 Physical Therapists, which I actually appreciate because in the past I have tried other PT offices and just didn't get the attention or the results that I needed. They all work together here which I really value as well- they truly want to get people out of pain! I would definitely recommend Pillar Kinetic for any kind of pain and/or Pelvic Floor Therapy.

I saw Antoinette, PT and we worked privately and 1-1 on my prenatal development and postpartum recovery. Not only was Antoinette super organized, prepared, and knowledgable; she was super empathetic, gentle, and conscientiousness of my particular needs and circumstances. Being pregnant and having your first baby is such a tender and vulnerable time on so many levels and having support like the services Antoinette provided were invaluable. Speaking of value they offer packages where you can save per session and/or can be reimbursed by your health insurance. I am currently 4 months postpartum and I am already back to running and can sense my abdominals again. Any pain or discomfort in my pelvic floor is gone and I do attribute a lot of my postpartum recovery to my physical therapy homework and regular sessions at Pillar Kinetic.
