The PT specialist was good and knowledgeable, but the staff was "meh" at best at this location. They were not friendly, barely said 2 words when I arrived and when on the phone was worse. The other thing about the front office staff was the listening skills were lacking. She offered me an appointment on Monday, I didn't say yes at all... she started moving things around calling other people and when she gave me a time she got frustrated when I said it didn't work. read more

I am not new to going to P.T. & I have been to a few different P.T.'s in CA and now Las Vegas, so I have some experience on receiving good treatment. After trying out a few in Las Vegas, I have found this place to be a good fit. I have gone in for knee and hip therapy and I like working with Matt. He is very knowledgeable and will treat you with care and dignity. The gym is clean and up to date the employees working in the gym are friendly and always available to answer any questions. As we know they will provide you with excellent care and instruction, but it is up to us to carry out the plan for ourselves! In the gym area, I was told there would be someone watching over my exercises to ensure things were done properly. At the very least, someone would be available if needed. There were usually 12-16 clients working out, with often just 1 staff member on the floor. There is NO way they could keep up with what people were doing. And there was one staffer that was super annoying - singing LOUD and dancing like it wasn't a place of business. Yes, it's great to have a nice energy. But loud singing? The initial physical therapist that worked up my plan didn't check on me once in the several weeks I was there. He seemed to know what he was doing in terms of addressing my issue and setting up a plan. But after observing for a few weeks, it seems his main role is to just get people in. This the only PT place I've been to that doesn't have an actual physical therapist working along side me during each and every exercise. At TSPT, after each exercise, the client goes back to the desk, often waiting in line, to find out what the next exercise is. The staff is just reading off a card that lists the exercises. After all the hours I spent there, I did not see ONCE where a staffer went to a client to correct their form during an exercise. What are the odds that every single client is doing every single exercise correctly every single time?!?! One plus, the guy that does the ice/heat therapy is amazing. He's always busy - checking on people, or cleaning the tables, or prepping the ice/heat packs. And he is always super friendly. read more

I have been living in Las Vegas nearly 30 yrs. I have had reason to receive PT from several other facilities. This has been by far the BEST. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, helpful and patient. Amazing experience. I have had lower back and a knee issues and Matt and the staff were amazing! They have several different therapists that use needling, massage and other up to date techniques to get you feeling back to your normal self again. All of my sessions for recovery have been at this location with one of the best stats I've worked with in a very long time. They listen to what you have to say and they encourage you to get better. As a household, we have been to many physical therapists including Kelly Hawkins and ATI. We are most impressed with Tim Soder Physical Therapy on N. Durango. They are always very attentive. If you want to recover, this is the place. They often have one on one therapists that work with you, although they may set you up with an exercise and observe from a distance but are right there when you finish. At least one of the other places we've been to gives you an hour routine and sends you off without observing your difficulties and strengths. TSPT is not like that, they work with you every step of the way pushing you, if needed, to full recovery. I can't say enough about this place. From picking up the tiniest beads and marbles, this place offers a full gym with many different exercises, you will get the full range of therapy that you require. They also have tens units and shockwave therapy. Matt is one of the therapists and is there every time we come in. He's hands on working with patients. He cares about his clients unlike these corporate sponsored places. Parking on site is easy with plenty of handicapped spaces. It's in a nice area and easy to get to. Hi all ! This review is directed to the NW location I am once again coming up on "graduation" LOL. This time a knee replacement revision surgery. This will be my third time rehabbing with TSPT NW location. If wishes really did come true i would have wished that I found Matt and his team years ago. I have had a total of 13 knee surgeries between both my knees. I have been to many of the PT's around the NW and the don't even compare. FYI stay away from ATI. They are just collecting your $$$. They suck! I have been fortunate to have Matt and Lalo (spelling I know ) for my last rehabs. I have experienced nothing but positive growth with Lalo. He was new my first time rehabbing with TSPT. WOW has he grown into a great and knowledgeable PTA (not sure of title) not to mention the positive energy he gives off with his sense of humor, kindness, and best of all his persistence in getting me to push through difficult and sometimes painful Theraphy. Matt is an all round great PT. His knowledge of my injuries and recovery is outstanding! I have learned a lot about how to further recover my knee after theraphy is over from him. Did I mention his messages ( aka treatments ) are fabulous :) . I cant end this review without mentioning the rest of the team that I spend the most time with. Carlos, Alejandro and Angie fresh minds! They have so much knowledge of their trade. New and fresh exercises and stretches. Not just the same old boring and played out routine. When you have had as many knee issues as I have there is nothing worse than going in and knowing the program better than the instructor. Why go if I already know. They don't just let you stray off lost. There teaching proper form for great recovery. This is the third physical therapy establishment I`ve tried in the valley and this is by far my favorite. I had no idea what I was missing in a good PT place until I started to go to TSPT. I brought myself here without doctor's orders at first to work on some pain I was having. After a couple of weeks I found out I had a tear in a tendon, so I stopped for a few weeks until I was cleared to come back. When I came back, they tailored my therapy based on the new info from the doctor and to get me back on track. I appreciate that they change up my therapy exercises each time I come in, keep track of what I`m doing, answer all my questions and make sure I`m getting the most out of my time and money. Matt does my shockwave therapy each time I come in and he is real delight. He is friendly, funny, knowledgeable and easy going. After shockwave therapy, I do targeted exercises for my issues that are usually overseen by Garik, Angelica, or Lexi. They all have their own style, but each of them is very versed in how to get a client back on track through the use of specific moves. Each time I go to therapy, I am challenged just enough, but always comfortable enough that I`m not in pain after. The front desk staff is great, facility is clean with lots of different equipment, music is usually pretty good, and there is little to no downtime when you arrive. You get there at your scheduled time and you get right to work. It is easy to get into the groove of what you'll be doing, learning how this place works, etc. I plan on coming here until my therapy is complete with my specific injury and then continuing on for some other issues I am having and I look forward to feeling better, getting strong, and learning more about proper movement with the help of the staff at TSPT. read more

Honestly wish I had known about TSPT and that I had come here for my other injury. I like that they have a traction table and offer dry needling. My wife is a patient at their Southwest clinic. I have been going with her to give her support. Her therapist is named Cameron. He is the best I have seen and my wife agrees! He is extremely knowledgeable. He is friendly, answers all questions, and does what he says he can do. Very easy to talk to! I just learned he has a doctorate degree in therapy!! We both are extremely satisfied and would not go anywhere else! Secondly, there is a receptionist named Ashley. She is the best! She handles the office with precision. Went in this morning at 8 am for my 3rd session of physical therapy for arthritis pain I've been experiencing since early March of this year. My therapists for today were Casey and Angie. It began with terrific massage for my neck and right shoulder by Casey to loosen the muscles up and then I went onto do various stretches and exercises to focus on the areas needing attention and I was monitored by Angie. Session ended with an Ice Stem Pad procedure soothe my neck and upper back and spine. Very wonderful experience and I'm scheduled again to go in for this coming Wednesday. read more

When I first arrived there I noticed that the clients would come in and out and the staff greeted each person by name and sent them off with well wishes. The place had such a welcoming environment, kind of like the clients were friends of the staff and they would just go in and do their exercises. I didn't feel that way my first day since I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. But after I got down a bit of the routine I felt so much more comfortable there and I felt like one of those people that I previously saw. The physical therapy exercises were taxing which is obvious when you're strengthening a part of your body that has been weakened. However, having a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable with the staff helps a ton and made having to go into each appointment not just tolerable but something I ​saw myself looking forward to going each time. I recently graduated and they made a big deal out of it which was sweet. It's great to feel like you're improving so it was a bittersweet goodbye since I found myself enjoying going there and knowing I'm getting stronger each time. read more

I was referred to this physical therapy clinic by my pain management doctor for "dry needling" on an extremely sensitive scar from a multiple-level spine fusion surgery several years ago. I've met with Matt twice weekly for over a month now. Although this therapy sounds painful, Matt has an extremely gentle approach. During my sessions, he uses from 30-35 needles and I usually only really "feel" only a couple. Even then, its just slightly uncomfortable and never painful. I highly recommend Matt!
