My son has been going to a pediatric dentist and since he's outside of the pediatric age limit, we needed to find a family dentist! Reading Matthew A Bagnulo's reviews, I felt this was a good place to start. Best decision ever! Matthew looked at my son's teeth and pulled me in to have a "talk". My son has several holes and cavities that need work. My child's other dentist completely missed these markers despite the fact we go EVERY 6 months to have his teeth cleaned. Each visit, my son gets a "Cavity Free" award along with his photo. What a lie! I don't understand how his other dentist failed us! To see holes in his teeth that are close to the nerve is so upsetting. Matthew offered to call the other dentists' office to confront the matter at hand and said a few of these are so big... he's positive they were present at our last visit (which was 6 months ago). He did say one or two could have happened within 6 months since they are smaller, which shows he's being professional is his opinion. Some of these holes are huge! Additionally, the x-rays show decay on the inside of the tooth which was completely overlooked by our previous dentist. Needless to say, my son has a lot of work ahead that should have been avoided. I'm shocked but grateful we don't have to pull teeth albeit needing to go in and get serious work done over the course of several appointments. NOTE: we are very close to pulling a tooth or two... it's that bad. read more

I have total confidence in Dr. Bagnulo. For more than 20 years he has developed and continually updated a care plan and strategy to maintain my teeth despite high rates of decay. At every point he explained my options and helped me decide on a course of action, which at present focuses on a few implants to stabilize surrounding teeth. The first two of these implants went in two years ago and have felt and functioned exactly like natural teeth. Dr. Bagnulo is extremely methodical and careful in his dental work and explains each step as he does it. Although his overall approach seems to be basically conservative, I have the impression that he is up to date and knowledgable about all aspects of state-of-the-art dentistry, including dental technology, and employs these as appropriate. Finally, I can only concur with the statements by others as to Dr. Bagnulo's care for his patients and their comfort, helped by his friendly, low-key manner. It may seem like a bit of exaggeration, but of late I have actually enjoyed my visits and found them to be a somewhat relaxing diversion! read more

This is the best dental office that our family has ever used. The staff are excellent, friendly, knowledgeable,... The location is easy to find and park at. The office is clean and has big windows you can look out. The cleanings, x-rays, and procedures are gentle and go smoothly. Getting an appointment is usually within a reasonable time frame, earliest morning might be a little more competitive. The dentist is friendly and works quickly. I'm happy they take the kids as well, quick and gentle cleaning for them (ages 5 & 8). I would recommend this dental office in a heartbeat. I've also never had an issue with a surprise bill or problems like that. They clearly estimate prior to procedures, and prices are reasonable as to what our Premera insurance covers. Dr. Bagnulo performed an emergency tooth extraction and bone graft on my daughter yesterday. She had a serious infection which had been making her ill for a long time. Due to a problem with the electronics on the pharmacy end, my daughter was unable to get her medication when I went to pick it up. I called Dr. Bagnulo's cell phone (which the office gives out for an emergency) and left him a voice mail. He called me back within 20 minutes to say that he just talked with the pharmacist and ordered another medication that I could pick up for my daughter! Dr. Bagnulo has been my dentist since before he has his own practice in Kirkland. I appreciate the friendly vibe in the office and the low staff turnover. Everyone I have interacted with takes time to listen to questions and concerns and explain both dental and financial aspects of care. I've been seeing Dr. Bagnulo for almost 5 years after my dentist retired during the pandemic. His office staff and hygienists are friendly and I enjoy coming in for teeth cleaning twice yearly. If you don't have a dental plan he has a private plan you can purchase to cover basic cleanings and X-rays with a discount on fillings. Last week part of a filling was coming off and I was able to get in quickly the following week to have it repaired in less than an hour. I appreciate that his rates are reasonable since I am responsible for paying a percentage of fillings. read more

My two sons 12 and 10 years old have been going to Doctor Bagnulo for about a year now. He has performed extensive repair on a molar and pulled out two of my son's baby teeth. All procedures went really well. The whole team for the office was great. My daughter had a good cleaning and identified some food stuck between teeth as the culprit for her slight pain. Gave me a tip to tie a knot with a floss to get the stubbornly stuck food. Even gave us a syringe to flush out any remaining bits. Overall, a great experience for my daughter and me.
