Dental hygiene and preventative care is very important, but growing up without access to an affordable dentist severely hampered my ability to properly take care of my own health. Over 20 some odd years some excessive cavities had begun to rot away not only my wisdom teeth but my back molars as well. Things were not looking good. This culminated in a wisdom tooth cracking and needed an emergency removal, in addition to an examination that revealed many of these issues. Enter Dr. Ruben, an absolute shining star of professionalism, courtesy, attentiveness, and humor to boot. Him and his team (Tina, Maia, Annie, and many others) worked with me from June of 2024 all the way to the present and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible work they've done, getting this fool back to healthy! The patience and support that they gave has made every visit a pleasure, and the understanding of my needs when it comes to anesthetic (us redheads got it rough!) and questions has been met with nothing but respect and care. After I had my wisdom teeth out we began the long process of putting crowns on each of my back molars as well as numerous fillings. As I am writing this, I have just returned home from the last fillings needed on some teeth we were monitoring and I began to think about how I wouldn't likely see the team again for many months as my next cleaning isn't due until the summertime and I got a bit sad as they are a wonderful group of people that really put in that extra mile for their patients. Dr. Ruben settles for nothing but the best for his clients and goes to bat for them every step of the way, a standard that every professional in the field should look up to and I admire him sticking by those values in his work. I've been a patient of Redmond Way Dentistry since 2010. The team is great - they're highly skilled and professional, always providing great care, with atteion to all the details, and they're compassionate and nice to talk to on a human level. I've had great experience with both the doctors from the team - Dr. Ruben and Dr. Prasanna. My family also goes to this office. I'm making sure we do cleaning every 3 months, and the doctors have a chance to spot things early if something is not right - and in rare cases a correction is needed they do have a great plan to fix the problem, and most of the time, they just provide me with recommendations on how to do preventive care for my teeth and the areas that I'm missing. I'm going to keep being patient for the years to come, and I hope the team of the doctors and hygienists that they've built is going to be there as well, it's such a great and professional team. Won't go anywhere else now! This review is over 18 months of visitations and the accompanying experiences. After many years of staring at my crooked teeth I finally decided to get them fixed. Initial consultation with Dr. Lan and we decided on Invisalign. From the start I really appreciated the professional yet friendly staff and clean office. The Dr was knowledgeable and answered all my questions upfront. I had to go in for revisions about every 6-8 weeks but with my work I travel frequently and unexpectedly, the front desk was super accommodating with my schedules and squeezing me in when I had to reschedule. My assigned hygienist is Alina and super sweet. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed not to mention great work. So 18 months later and I am finished and couldn't be happier with the results of Invisalign and most importantly the experiences along the way. read more

I'm a big fan of this dentist office. It sounds incredibly weird to say this but I had a botched filling back in 2015. The dentist shaved so much of my tooth down and didn't do the filling right. When I called up Redmond Way Dentistry and told them my story, they said they would check out my tooth for free and once I got there, they'd replace it for free to give me peace of mind. I've been going to Redmond Way Dentistry for the last 5 years. Even after we moved away, I drove an hour to see these guys because a good dentist is hard to find. My pregnancy did a number on my teeth. Dr. Lan and Mya (dental assistant) extensively worked on my teeth for the last 6 months. I got numerous fillings and 3 crowns. She also did a tooth extraction (she showed me the video in real time... the tooth was beyond saving). The last 6 months have been torturous and pure hell, but I'm so glad that I went through it with Dr. Lan and Mya. Dr. Lan is very professional, efficient, and honest. She is no nonsense and told me straight up when my tooth was beyond saving. She didn't sugar coat, she just showed me the video proof. I'm sensitive to pain and she was always concerned about my pain level throughout. She also saved me some money by telling me to redo my front tooth next year when insurance will cover it. Mya (dental assistant) was a bright light to be around. Her personality made me feel calm throughout this whole ordeal. She definitely lowered my anxiety. She also did a wonderful job on my temporary crown when it chipped. I hope to continue to go to them again. Becky and Anna were the people in the front desk and they were very adaptive to my schedule changes and cancellation when I got COVID-19 or childcare feel through. I thought I chipped my temporary crown and Anna got me in on the same day. They are very friendly, courteous, and wonderful to deal with. I'd put off a gum graft for about two years because of the horror stories I'd heard from others that had received the surgery. After finding out about the pinhole surgery as an alternative, I looked at a few dentists that conducted the surgery and chose to go with Dr. Koogler. Both he and his staff's attention to detail and promptness were a big part of why I chose them. As you can see from the photos below, the guy is a miracle worker. They did an amazing job and set very realistic expectations regarding pain, recovery, and instructions to ensure proper healing. The last 3 or 4 appointments I have had, all scheduled 6 months in advance (scheduled before leaving an appointment) have all been cancelled because they didn't have a hygienist. In all my years, I've never experienced such a thing. In response to the response from the business owner: my appointment was scheduled for a week from my posting of this review. You may have hired three additional hygienists, but you are still habitually cancelling scheduled appointments. read more

Do not come to this practice. Consistent missed and cancelled appointments at the very last minute. It took me over 5 months to get in to see the hygienist for a routine cleaning, and they cancelled 6 minutes prior to the appointment time. In the meantime between booking and this long-awaited cleaning appointment, the dentist saw me and identified some older fillings that needed to be redone. I did not have any problems with those teeth prior to the work and only after have sensitivity in one of the areas post-treatment. These folks are looking to maximize on insurance payouts without serving their true customers. In regards to comment below: I have had 2 out of 4 appts cancelled due to "family emergency" (one at 4p and another on a Saturday) so unfortunately do not believe the claim below. read more

I am very scared of Dentist and dental work in general but Kyle did a wonderful job. She explained the whole process and what needs to be done in terms of treatment. I had a great experience with the team here. I am going for a root canal with my doctor here. At the very beginning I was worried but now after visiting them I am much better and I feel I am ready for it. The facility in clean and decent. It's very close to QFC in Redmond. I've been a patient here for several years. The dentists and hygienists are all very good, helpful and friendly. Getting an appointment is usually pretty easy and I've even needed to use their emergency line once and they were very helpful. Only issue I've ever had is that they missed a problem with my bite which ended up requiring me to get braces. Had it been caught earlier, I might have saved myself some pain, but I don't really blame them per se, just wish it had been seen earlier and they're in my mouth the most. read more

Its been over 6 years since a dentist scammer working at this office "strongly recommended" I get my crown replaced because of "infection" and referred me to an orthodontist. I called her out on the bluff. My crown is still on and still works just fine. I have come to know the scammer dentist does not work at the office but, she completely made me reevaluate the ethics prevalent in this industry. here is some additional detail: As I lay on the chair, with the scammer dentist warning me of infection under my crown, I asked, what led her to the conclusion, to which she points to a very faint almost invisible shadow on the X ray. It didnt make sense.. so I asked, could we look at the Xray from the previous year and compare. She pretended like she didnt know where those X rays would be. I pointed to her where those files where because the folder structure seemed very intuitive. She reluctantly opened it and pulled up the image of the same tooth from the prior year Xray. Low and behold there was no palpable difference. At this point, she started getting very irritated and became rude reminding me of her years of experience and that it was her privilege and conclusion. That I could go to another practice. Next time i came for my checkup, I noticed she swapped me out with another dentist.. who as soon as he saw me, reminded me of my "infected" crown that needs attention. That was 5years ago. She corrupted even while handing me over to another dentist. I am still furious that my son had many of his healthy beautiful teeth bored and modified with fillings. Had I taken my son instead of my wife to this practice, my son would still have healthy teeth. It makes me angry whenever i think of this. When I asked the scammer Dentist for proof of why they had to do that to my Son, I was rebuffed. I blame the management too for letting scammers like this run amok in the practice. read more

Best dental experience I've ever had! The staff and dentists are all very friendly and courteous. My oral hygiene have never really been the best, but with routine cleaning and check-ups, my teeth and gums feel a lot better.
