Horrible practice, my sons had braces done here. They charge for everything, spent an additional $500 on broken brackets. When I brought this up they have a homemade sheet stating that they use the strongest adhesive allowed, red flag number one. I had to return so many times because the assistant who did the adjustments left jagged wires. I have spoken with several other practices that do not charge for broken brackets. Now let's move on to the professionalism, the Dr accused my son of eating food that caused the broken brackets, don't dare speak to a teenager that way, if you have an issue speak to the parent. In summary this is a money grab practice that doesn't really care about its patients. I would have stopped going here a year ago if we didn't prepay for the braces/retainers. When I asked to be refunded for the retainers so I could go to another practice they refused. read more

This place is horrible! My son got braces and they charged me $5500 and he was supposed to have them on for 24 months. We set up a payment plan to pay 250 a month for the 24 months. The doctor wanted to remove The braces after 14 months. We scheduled an appointment to get them removed and the day before our appointment I found out they wanted the balance paid in full. I told them that we were on a payment plan for 24 months and the doctor is choosing to remove the braces early I should be able to continue my payment plan and you can't expect someone to come up with a couple thousand dollars just like that. I explain to them my husband was hospitalized this week with pneumonia and was getting surgery today and may have lung cancer and I really need to stay on the payment plan and was not available to give them $2000 two hours before my son was getting his braces removed I got a message saying that the doctor feels we should reschedule because he didn't think it was a good idea to remove them with everything going on with his dad. I told them this is the only thing he is looking forward to and I want his braces off. They said to reschedule that way will give me more time to come up with the balance. They are holding my sons teeth as hostage to get their money when we had a payment contract for 24 months. They are only thinking about the money and could care less about what my son is going through. I also referred a friend to them and they quoted her a price of $4500. That was $1000 less than what I was paying and when I questioned the doctor about it he said because my son needed braces for 24 months and her daughter only needed them on for 20 months so there was a difference in price. Well now my son has had his braces on for 14 months so there should be an adjustment to the balance since The doctor is removing them 10 months early. They agreed to take $500 off which I think should be more since it's 10 months early. But they are still insisting that they won't remove his braces until I have the balance. It's horrible that they're doing this to a child who's going through a hard time right now and penalizing him because his parents don't have $2000 to pay when we were on a payment plan for 24 months. I do not recommend this place because they only care about the money and not the patient Dr Choi and the staff said that you want the balance or he's not getting his braces off. I have explained to you what was going on and was giving you my debit card to automatically withdraw the payments. Nobody is looking for charity. I pay my bills. You made an agreement and then you backed out on it and that is very unprofessional. It only shows that your interest is in money and not your patients! I found another orthodontist who has a heart and cares about their patients well being and not the almighty dollar. Hopefully no other parent or child has to go through this with you. Good luck with your practice I will make sure I never recommend you to anybody again. My daughter got her braces thru Dr. Scott the person you took over for and he would never have done this. My son is going thru an upsetting time due to his father falling extremely ill with pneumonia and was getting surgery to to remove 3 liters of fluid and infection that was leaking into his body and they found a mass that may be lung cancer. I explained that my son was excited about getting braces off bc it was a distraction from what's going on with his dad. 2 days before u and Ur office agreed to continue with the payments and then 2hrs before his appt u leave a message that ur not removing them bc u want full balance. How do u bully ppl demanding money, holding ur child's teeth hostage when we had a 24 month payment plan? 2 days before u agreed to continue the payments. Now Dr. Jekyll wants all his money and if he doesn't get it he said he is no longer his doctor and leaves braces on my sons teeth. U know ur wrong with how u handled this. read more
