I came in the room confident and ready to get things fixed. As soon as he came in the room, he flustered me. I was shocked by the way he was acting. He said there was nothing wrong with me, and I should be exercising. The list of backhanded comments he gave me was plentiful. When I told him I physically could not without pain, he said "I don't care." Such a salty old man. He then forgot to discharge me, and I was stuck in the room he humiliated me in for 30 mins. Such a horrible experience. This isn't a post made out of anger for my results, he simply is the worst doctor I've ever been to, and he is the only one on that list! Never come here unless you want a doctor only coming for a paycheck and not your health!

I thought at that point it was over. Nope a few days later they charge me again on the previous credit card that I had used. Without authorization. The billing department has both people out now so I can't even talk to anyone about the issue. Now, while waiting for one of them to get back in the office... I just visited Dr. Shim about an ongoing issue I have had with my hip and back. After having my…read moreprimary care physician help me finally define the issue I was having with symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Shim after an MRI. The radiologist assessed my MRI and said I did not have an issue with any discs, which was essentially the purpose of the MRI (to rule out a lower disc problem). The issue is likely my SI joint but Dr. Shim did not want to talk about my SI joint, despite the fact that my pain seems to be caused by a problem in that area. He just wanted to push epidural injections on me for a "small bulging disc" that he saw on my MRI that no one else saw then or for the 4 years that I've previously had this issue. He kept telling me about the pain in my lower leg which I did not have and how that was from my "bulging disc." The bottom line was he would not listen to me. Relied solely on his assistant's physical examination and something he saw on the film that no one else did. He kept trying to tell me that I was having pain in areas in which I wasn't having pain. Ridiculous. Just trying to get more people through an expensive injection procedure. He was fake and insincere. I would not visit him again.
