My experience with Dr Moreno so far has been in the hospital…read more I was admitted for extreme back pain, which was almost debilitating. I also had so many things going on that made my illness a bit complicated. Dr. Moreno immediately began with my back to rule out a fracture. Then he assured me that he will do his utmost best to help me with my pain management. I am looking forward to my visit with him in his office next week to begin what I hope will be experiencing a whole new painless if not pain free life. Dr Moreno has the most awesome personality with a killer smile.I am so grateful for those individuals who arranged for him to be on my Bay Care Team. Thank you Dr Moreno.

We waited months for this appointment, only to leave disheartened and confused. Dr. Moreno was abrupt, rude, condescending, dismissive, and clearly had not reviewed my MRI report. At one point, he begrudgingly flashed the MRI on the screen for mere seconds -- not to explain, but to silence questions he seemed offended by. His "treatment plan" felt rushed, based on snap judgment, and ignored key findings; his ego seemingly given more weight than thorough clinical review. My wife left in tears, and I left still in pain with incomplete answers. Medicine is not just about knowledge; it's about listening, synthesizing, and caring enough to explore the full scope of a patient's symptoms. On that front, Dr. Moreno failed spectacularly.

Dr. Venezia's office is beautifully decorated in a happy patriotic and Hawaiian laid back manner…read morewhich places you at ease immediately. Every person I encountered was kind and compassionate as well as very caring. His entire staff worked together efficiently to keep patience, patients efficiently moving through the process while still maintaining an excellent level of care. Dr. Venezia and his staff took care of all of my concerns. When I walked out the door my surgery was scheduled as well as my follow up visits after the surgery in October! This is what great health care looks like! Bravo, and kudos to all. Y'all hit it out of the park!

This is my 2nd week since I had spinal surgery performed by Dr. Venezia and I have to say how…read moreamazed I've been about the entire process. From the beginning Dr. Venezia has been patient and extremely informative in explaining my condition and the and risks associated with each of the surgical options he presented to me. I expected the worst possible outcome and I am pleased to say Dr. Venezia provided me with the best possible outcome that I could possibly experience. From talking with friends that had similar surgeries I was prepared mentally that I would be in significant pain and discomfort and other than dealing with muscle spasms and a sore throat each of which Dr. Venezia warned me about (and provided meds for) I've been feeling and doing great!!! Each step of the way his staff as well as the great staff at Morton Plant Hospital was there to support me. I would recommend Dr. Venezia in a heartbeat to anyone having spinal problems or needing spinal surgery. Thank you Doc! I feel very fortunate to have chosen you!

While I appreciate the PAs for the physicians, I would like the doctor to pop in just to touch base…read morewith me. My copay is for a doctor visit and I've seen his PA the last couple of times. Sort of makes me feel unworthy of his time. The PA was nice, professional, but no MD following her name, maybe it's just me.

Dr Odmark is an Orthopedic Foot Surgeon here. He is highly incompetent! Do not use him! He…read moreruined my foot in an attempt to grift my Medicare. I saw him for a hammertoe on my L second left toe. He never fixed it!! He decided to rearrange my toes because he did not like the spacing between a couple of them even though they matched my other foot perfectly. He inserted a rod into my big toe and turned it inward to close a space between that and the hammertoe, then he moved the hammertoe closer to my third toe so closely that I can barely get a washcloth in there. He left my metatarsal bulging on the top surface of my foot and in doing so, a pocket formed under it that filled with puss that had to be cleaned out throughout the healing process. Then he put me on antibiotics because I was in great pain even though I have profound Peripheral Neuropathy (no Diabetes here) and proceeded to prescribe only 7 days at a time. The pain came back full force at the end of each stint because 7 days was not enough. I had to beg him to leave me on it for a longer period before it was finally cleared up. And AFTER ALL THIS, my hammertoe was NEVER FIXED because enough of the bone was eaten away by infection. He left me a HUGE Medicare bill which they paid thankfully, but he caused me great pain and anguish, I missed a planned visit to one of my sons prearranged in great detail, and now the hammertoe can NEVER BE FIXED because it was eaten away by infection and is now very reduced in size.
