I thought at that point it was over. Nope a few days later they charge me again on the previous credit card that I had used. Without authorization. The billing department has both people out now so I can't even talk to anyone about the issue. Now, while waiting for one of them to get back in the office... I just received another email saying my payment is due. Be very careful with billing this practice has issues with it.

So far, 4 weeks have transpired since my office visit when the Dr requested I go get an MRI for a suspected torn meniscus. 4 weeks of pain all to find out they apparently don't plan to do anything. They won't return multiple calls and voice mails or multiple emails. No reply at all. I have switched doctors. Doctor Mark Torke is a horrible doctor…read more He had 0 bedsides manners, and when he came in the room, he made me feel stupid. Like I was in an interrogation. I am 18 with severe shoulder issues. I came in the room confident and ready to get things fixed. As soon as he came in the room, he flustered me. I was shocked by the way he was acting. He said there was nothing wrong with me, and I should be exercising. The list of backhanded comments he gave me was plentiful. When I told him I physically could not without pain, he said "I don't care." Such a salty old man. He then forgot to discharge me, and I was stuck in the room he humiliated me in for 30 mins. Such a horrible experience. This isn't a post made out of anger for my results, he simply is the worst doctor I've ever been to, and he is the only one on that list! Today is my 2 week followup on 6/2/23, with new X-ray to see if it's healing properly. Dr. Torke is a no nonsense, shoot from the hip type of guy, which is fine by me. I like to know the facts, what to do to heal, and be on my way. If I have questions, Dr. Torke is thorough with the answers - or finding answers. So far, I've been satisfied with my treatment in the past and now. The office staff is pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. If I have questions, they answer then or find someone with the answers.

I just visited Dr. Shim about an ongoing issue I have had with my hip and back. After having my…read moreprimary care physician help me finally define the issue I was having with symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Shim after an MRI. The radiologist assessed my MRI and said I did not have an issue with any discs, which was essentially the purpose of the MRI (to rule out a lower disc problem). The issue is likely my SI joint but Dr. Shim did not want to talk about my SI joint, despite the fact that my pain seems to be caused by a problem in that area. He just wanted to push epidural injections on me for a "small bulging disc" that he saw on my MRI that no one else saw then or for the 4 years that I've previously had this issue. He kept telling me about the pain in my lower leg which I did not have and how that was from my "bulging disc." The bottom line was he would not listen to me. Relied solely on his assistant's physical examination and something he saw on the film that no one else did. He kept trying to tell me that I was having pain in areas in which I wasn't having pain. Ridiculous. Just trying to get more people through an expensive injection procedure. He was fake and insincere. I would not visit him again.

I also had so many things going on that made my illness a bit complicated. Dr. Moreno immediately began with my back to rule out a fracture. Then he assured me that he will do his utmost best to help me with my pain management. I am looking forward to my visit with him in his office next week to begin what I hope will be experiencing a whole new painless if not pain free life. His "treatment plan" felt rushed, based on snap judgment, and ignored key findings; his ego seemingly given more weight than thorough clinical review. My wife left in tears, and I left still in pain with incomplete answers. Medicine is not just about knowledge; it's about listening, synthesizing, and caring enough to explore the full scope of a patient's symptoms. On that front, Dr. Moreno failed spectacularly.
